So, let's embark on this fascinating journey together."The Mysore Palace, also known as Amba Vilas Palace, built in the Indo - Saracenic style stands as a beacon of architectural brilliance and historical significance. But beyond its aesthetic appeal, the palace is a masterclass in Vaastu Shastra, ensuring that every corner resonates with positive energy and harmony. One of the most powerful Vaastu features of the Mysore Palace is its strategic positioning at the intersection of four roads. I t has entrances from all the four cardinal directions i.e North,East,South,West.According to Vaastu Shastra, a property that has roads on all four sides is considered extremely auspicious. This configuration allows for the unrestricted flow of energy, symbolizing openness and accessibility from all directions. It’s as if the palace is welcoming positive energy from every possible source, ensuring a constant influx of prosperity and good fortune. One of the most striking features of Mysore Palace is its grand main entrance, which faces east. According to Vaastu Shastra, the east is the direction of the rising sun and is considered highly auspicious. This orientation invites positive energy, prosperity, and new beginnings. It’s no wonder that the palace has been a cradle of power and wealth for the Wodeyar dynasty for centuries.Symmetry is another vital aspect of Vaastu Shastra, and Mysore Palace exemplifies this principle beautifully. The balanced design creates a sense of order and peace, ensuring that energy flows harmoniously throughout the space. This balance is not just visually appealing but also functional, contributing to the well-being and prosperity of the royal family. The materials used in the construction of Mysore Palace are equally significant. The extensive use of natural materials like wood, stone, and marble resonates with the natural elements, enhancing the palace's energy field. These materials provide structural integrity and a sense of grounding and connection to the earth. It’s a perfect example of how traditional practices can create spaces that are both beautiful and energetically vibrant. The royal family’s living quarters are strategically positioned in the southwestern part of the palace. According to Vaastu, the southwest direction is ideal for the head of the family, providing stability, security, and strength. This positioning has undoubtedly contributed to the long and prosperous reign of the Wodeyar dynasty, ensuring that the family remains grounded and powerful. Now, let’s take a closer look at the Durbar Hall, where the king used to hold court. This grand hall is adorned with vibrant colors, intricate designs, and opulent chandeliers, all carefully chosen to enhance the space's energy and ambiance. The Durbar Hall signifies power and authority, instilling confidence and respect. It’s a space designed to inspire awe and command attention, perfectly aligned with Vaastu principles. The road on the east side goes in such a way that it has increased the east north east open space of the Palace. Beyond the east road There is a large parking space the Dodda Kere Maidana,on the east side. Beyond the north road, there is a vast open space Dr. Vishnuvardhan Udhyana Vana and Kuppanna Park in the north east. These open spaces on the north ,east and north-east act as active sources of fortune for the Royal family.Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV, the 24th Maharaja of Mysore, was a visionary leader and a true pioneer of modernization. His efforts extended to marginalized communities, ensuring access to education for all.Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV's contributions to infrastructure were equally remarkable.
