It's crazy on what 200 podcasts can do to you as a person. In this episode, I share the 20 lessons I learned after publishing 200 podcasts.

Speaker 1: Welcome to the Freedom Business Podcast, your host, Sat Raj
00:00:04
Speaker 1: Shekhar here. Great to have you here. This is where
00:00:06
Speaker 1: we are going to be talking about how we can
00:00:08
Speaker 1: redefine our education system by building vibrant learning communities. Take
00:00:13
Speaker 1: your knowledge out of the world and be awesome. Let's
00:00:15
Speaker 1: get in.
00:00:28
Speaker 1: Yes. Yes. Yes. This is my 200 episode of my podcast.
00:00:31
Speaker 1: And I'm also in a podcasting challenge right now where
00:00:33
Speaker 1: this podcast is day number five out of my 90
00:00:36
Speaker 1: day challenge. But I want to just share with you
00:00:38
Speaker 1: in this journey of recording 200 episodes. What all did
00:00:42
Speaker 1: I go through? What are all the lessons that I
00:00:44
Speaker 1: learned and how have I grown in the world as
00:00:46
Speaker 1: a person? I've put that into 20 points. I'd like
00:00:49
Speaker 1: you to take notes and go through all the 20
00:00:51
Speaker 1: points because these 20 points can change your life. Let's
00:00:54
Speaker 1: get in
00:00:55
Speaker 1: the first point is, is never too late to start
00:00:58
Speaker 1: a podcast. Some of some people may be thinking there's
00:01:00
Speaker 1: already too many podcasts out there in the marketplace and
00:01:02
Speaker 1: how will I cut through the noise? How will, how
00:01:04
Speaker 1: will I be different. Don't even think about those things
00:01:07
Speaker 1: because
00:01:08
Speaker 1: you just need to start. It's never too late to
00:01:10
Speaker 1: start and you don't have to do some mega stuff,
00:01:13
Speaker 1: which takes me to the second point is audio. As
00:01:14
Speaker 1: a media, it penetrates deeper into the hearts of your
00:01:17
Speaker 1: audience as compared to any other media because you can
00:01:19
Speaker 1: close your eyes and speak, you can express yourself completely
00:01:22
Speaker 1: and you don't really have to worry about the editing
00:01:25
Speaker 1: or you know, the light hitting your face or which
00:01:28
Speaker 1: camera you're using, you can just record on your phone,
00:01:30
Speaker 1: make sure you're sitting in a quiet place or any
00:01:32
Speaker 1: distractions
00:01:34
Speaker 1: and there's not much echo in the room and you
00:01:36
Speaker 1: can record really good podcast by keeping the tech and
00:01:39
Speaker 1: the setup costs as low as possible and also
00:01:44
Speaker 1: share your heart to the world and speak whatever is
00:01:47
Speaker 1: in your mind that really helps a lot as a podcast,
00:01:51
Speaker 1: which leads me to. The next point is
00:01:54
Speaker 1: podcasts are faster to publish, you know, take your phone record,
00:01:59
Speaker 1: set up an account on uh you know, Spotify or
00:02:01
Speaker 1: Buzz Proud. Like I'm using a platform called Binge Pods
00:02:05
Speaker 1: where all of our community podcasts are are on and
00:02:08
Speaker 1: it's been really good the journey so far. So the
00:02:10
Speaker 1: third point is the third lesson is podcasts are faster
00:02:13
Speaker 1: to publish than any other media. The fourth lesson that
00:02:16
Speaker 1: I learned is that if you can condense your thoughts
00:02:20
Speaker 1: under 10 minutes,
00:02:22
Speaker 1: you have the power in your hands. You are awesome.
00:02:25
Speaker 1: How many people are posting one minute reels or 32nd
00:02:28
Speaker 1: videos and stuff? Like that's fine. It's more like for
00:02:30
Speaker 1: entertainment and grabbing people's attention. But if you can hold
00:02:33
Speaker 1: the attention span of anybody for 10 minutes through a
00:02:37
Speaker 1: podcast like this or through a video like this, if
00:02:39
Speaker 1: you can condense your thoughts under 10 minutes and really
00:02:42
Speaker 1: make it crisp and to the point and high value
00:02:44
Speaker 1: per minute, you are truly awesome.
00:02:47
Speaker 1: What you would notice is that a lot of my
00:02:48
Speaker 1: students who are from internet lifestyle hub, even their style
00:02:52
Speaker 1: of teaching is very similar to mine like point shooter style.
00:02:54
Speaker 1: No beating around the bush, you know, no BS like
00:02:57
Speaker 1: straight to the point.
00:02:59
Speaker 1: The fifth lesson that I learned after publishing 200 podcasts
00:03:03
Speaker 1: that it is good for you to keep creating it,
00:03:05
Speaker 1: fires the neurons in your brains. And one of the
00:03:07
Speaker 1: things I want to share with all of you is
00:03:09
Speaker 1: that even in this 90 day challenge, I'm not creating
00:03:11
Speaker 1: multiple podcasts in one go and I'm putting and I'm
00:03:14
Speaker 1: not literally scheduling like 56 days into the podcast. I
00:03:19
Speaker 1: want to sit, I want to plan on a record.
00:03:22
Speaker 1: I want to publish daily every single day.
00:03:25
Speaker 1: It's actually good for you to keep creating because as
00:03:29
Speaker 1: a human being, it is our creative power that really
00:03:32
Speaker 1: brings the change in the world, everything that you see
00:03:35
Speaker 1: around you is created by somebody, right?
00:03:37
Speaker 1: So the more you're able to tap into your creative
00:03:39
Speaker 1: energy and in this case, podcast, you will be able
00:03:42
Speaker 1: to grow as a person faster than ever.
00:03:45
Speaker 1: The sixth lesson that I learned is that content creation
00:03:48
Speaker 1: is all about answering questions and addressing the needs of
00:03:51
Speaker 1: your market. Now, many of you may be hearing this
00:03:54
Speaker 1: podcast thinking, how can I record a podcast, you know,
00:03:57
Speaker 1: will I be able to also do 200 podcasts?
00:04:00
Speaker 1: What is it feeling like when you complete 200 episodes?
00:04:03
Speaker 1: And that's why I'm sharing this. I'm sharing my journey
00:04:05
Speaker 1: with you because it can inspire you and address all
00:04:08
Speaker 1: the concerns that may be in your head when it
00:04:10
Speaker 1: comes to launching your podcast and stuff like that.
00:04:14
Speaker 1: The seventh idea that I got after recording 200 podcasts
00:04:17
Speaker 1: is that you can actually learn lessons from everywhere and
00:04:20
Speaker 1: you can integrate those lessons in the form of a podcast.
00:04:23
Speaker 1: When you're traveling, you meet somebody, you walk into a
00:04:25
Speaker 1: supermarket or some situation happens in your life. Whatever may
00:04:29
Speaker 1: be the case, you can pick up lessons and integrate
00:04:31
Speaker 1: those lessons and share that in the form of audio
00:04:33
Speaker 1: and the fact that you may be even launching a podcast,
00:04:37
Speaker 1: you may be even running a podcast in real life.
00:04:40
Speaker 1: You will start to
00:04:42
Speaker 1: pick up ideas on how you can take those ideas
00:04:46
Speaker 1: and share it in your podcast. In other words, your
00:04:48
Speaker 1: antennas are always alert, looking for new ideas and new
00:04:51
Speaker 1: lessons so that you can share with your audience.
00:04:53
Speaker 1: The eighth lesson that I learned is that podcasting is
00:04:57
Speaker 1: a way to challenge yourself to serve your market. At
00:05:00
Speaker 1: the next level. There are many people who do know
00:05:02
Speaker 1: stuff online, but they are not very consistent, but the
00:05:05
Speaker 1: more you challenge yourself. OK, let me post one piece
00:05:08
Speaker 1: of content. Let me add uh one piece of value
00:05:11
Speaker 1: to the market. Let me answer this one question in
00:05:13
Speaker 1: the form of a podcast or a video. That's one
00:05:15
Speaker 1: way of challenging yourself to up your game.
00:05:17
Speaker 1: The ninth lesson that I learned after publishing 200 podcasts
00:05:20
Speaker 1: is that
00:05:23
Speaker 1: in my case, I'm not recording my podcast chasing an identity.
00:05:28
Speaker 1: I don't want to be known as some, you know,
00:05:30
Speaker 1: big influencer creator and blah, blah blah. That's not even
00:05:33
Speaker 1: my goal.
00:05:34
Speaker 1: I am always seeking alignment is whatever I'm doing today.
00:05:39
Speaker 1: Is it aligned with what I really want in life?
00:05:41
Speaker 1: Is this piece of content aligned with what I truly
00:05:45
Speaker 1: want to teach? Because in between I went, I got misaligned,
00:05:48
Speaker 1: I started to record a lot of videos and stuff
00:05:50
Speaker 1: based on what I was not so aligned with but
00:05:52
Speaker 1: what the market wanted. Uh And there's a fine line
00:05:54
Speaker 1: between what the market wants and, and what you want
00:05:57
Speaker 1: to share with the world. But of course, in my
00:05:59
Speaker 1: mind I'm always chasing the alignment. I'm not chasing the identity.
00:06:03
Speaker 1: Most of the creators, they are chasing the identity so
00:06:05
Speaker 1: they will do whatever it takes
00:06:07
Speaker 1: to do whatever click bait stuff so that they can
00:06:11
Speaker 1: be more seen, heard and you know,
00:06:15
Speaker 1: they want to be more known.
00:06:17
Speaker 1: But for me, the goal is not about identity. My
00:06:20
Speaker 1: goal is alignment.
00:06:22
Speaker 1: The 10th lesson that I learned after publishing 200 podcasts
00:06:25
Speaker 1: is that your content actually is a reflection of your
00:06:28
Speaker 1: inner personality, just like what I shared in the previous point.
00:06:32
Speaker 1: I don't seek identity, I seek alignment. And that's my personality.
00:06:35
Speaker 1: And when you are able to share your podcasts and
00:06:37
Speaker 1: we are able to share your knowledge every single day,
00:06:40
Speaker 1: you'll reflect your inner personality and that's what creates a
00:06:42
Speaker 1: connection with your market. The 11th lesson that I learned
00:06:45
Speaker 1: is that you'll develop your own style.
00:06:48
Speaker 1: By the time you create at least 50 pieces of
00:06:49
Speaker 1: content or 50th pod podcast episode, you will develop your
00:06:52
Speaker 1: own unique way of delivering your own style, which will
00:06:55
Speaker 1: be very different from others.
00:06:57
Speaker 1: The 12th lesson that I learned is that when your
00:06:59
Speaker 1: purpose of your content creation is results for your students
00:07:03
Speaker 1: and results for your audience,
00:07:06
Speaker 1: your entire game will change
00:07:09
Speaker 1: because most people are also creating for their own identity
00:07:13
Speaker 1: and their own more number of likes and views and
00:07:15
Speaker 1: they take controversies and we've seen this happening even online
00:07:18
Speaker 1: on youtube and others, people just take off something. They
00:07:21
Speaker 1: say this is a scam that is a scam and boom,
00:07:23
Speaker 1: you know, they get instant visibility, instant all of that.
00:07:26
Speaker 1: The purpose of the content creation is to, you know,
00:07:30
Speaker 1: stir a controversy and get more eyeballs.
00:07:34
Speaker 1: Whereas if you look at every piece of content that
00:07:36
Speaker 1: I've been publishing on this podcast here or even on
00:07:38
Speaker 1: my youtube channel, it's all about how can you win,
00:07:41
Speaker 1: How can my students win? So the game is different.
00:07:44
Speaker 1: It may not be a mass market game, but it
00:07:46
Speaker 1: really creates an impact. And that's why we have, we
00:07:48
Speaker 1: generate hundreds of Karpati in this community, multiple hundreds of
00:07:52
Speaker 1: six figure owners in the community that I've been able
00:07:54
Speaker 1: to document so far.
00:07:55
Speaker 1: Number 13 is
00:07:58
Speaker 1: you'll get damn good at editing content. I'm talking about
00:08:01
Speaker 1: both audio and audio and video. The more you do it,
00:08:05
Speaker 1: the 1st 1015 episodes will be very rusty editor just
00:08:07
Speaker 1: learning the game. But then once you cross this threshold
00:08:10
Speaker 1: of 100 podcasts or 100 videos or 100 webinars or
00:08:14
Speaker 1: even say 200 I mean, you're gonna get damn good
00:08:17
Speaker 1: at your game and that's gonna give you an edge
00:08:19
Speaker 1: compared to anybody else.
00:08:21
Speaker 1: The 14th lesson that I learned is your, your content
00:08:24
Speaker 1: will live longer on the internet
00:08:27
Speaker 1: than you.
00:08:29
Speaker 1: In other words, your content will live on the internet forever.
00:08:32
Speaker 1: Who knows 300 years from now? Somebody could go and
00:08:35
Speaker 1: listen to your podcast and get inspired and they may
00:08:37
Speaker 1: change their life. Who knows?
00:08:39
Speaker 1: So don't stop or you know, don't procrastinate. This number
00:08:44
Speaker 1: 15
00:08:46
Speaker 1: podcasting is also documenting your own journey of success. Like
00:08:50
Speaker 1: if you go and listen to my episode one or
00:08:52
Speaker 1: episode two, I was just starting off on this journey.
00:08:54
Speaker 1: This is back in 24. And now as I'm recording this,
00:08:58
Speaker 1: you can actually go, you can see what I was talking,
00:09:01
Speaker 1: then what I'm talking right now. What was my tonality
00:09:04
Speaker 1: of voice back then? What is my tonality of voice
00:09:06
Speaker 1: right now? So I I pretty much documented my entire
00:09:09
Speaker 1: success journey through the podcasting process and you can do
00:09:12
Speaker 1: the same.
00:09:13
Speaker 1: Number 16
00:09:15
Speaker 1: is the sooner you start building a community, the more
00:09:18
Speaker 1: content ideas you will have for your podcast. If you're
00:09:22
Speaker 1: just listening to the podcast of mine and just learning
00:09:25
Speaker 1: from me and not taking action on building a community, your,
00:09:27
Speaker 1: your progress is gonna be slow because your food for
00:09:30
Speaker 1: thought
00:09:32
Speaker 1: or the fuel of all the ideas is going to
00:09:35
Speaker 1: come from your community. So start selling your memberships, build
00:09:39
Speaker 1: your community. And every week you throw a Google form
00:09:41
Speaker 1: and ask the community members to ask you questions and
00:09:43
Speaker 1: convert those questions into podcasts. That's what I do.
00:09:46
Speaker 1: The 17 lesson that I learned is that when you
00:09:49
Speaker 1: create one piece of content every single day, you will
00:09:52
Speaker 1: master your own topic,
00:09:54
Speaker 1: you know, before recording this podcast, I was thinking, what
00:09:57
Speaker 1: should I record a podcast on and then realized, ok,
00:09:59
Speaker 1: we are one, we are at 200 episode.
00:10:02
Speaker 1: So I said, ok, what can I share? In fact,
00:10:05
Speaker 1: when I completed the 100th episode, I recorded on a
00:10:07
Speaker 1: podcast on 10 lessons, I learned recording 100 podcasts. I thought,
00:10:10
Speaker 1: let me do 20 lessons I learned after publishing 200 podcasts,
00:10:13
Speaker 1: maybe 30 lessons I learned after publishing 300 podcasts. So
00:10:17
Speaker 1: when you create one piece of content every single day,
00:10:19
Speaker 1: you will master your own topic and the kind of
00:10:22
Speaker 1: insights that I'm sharing in the latter episodes are much
00:10:26
Speaker 1: more refined and mature and
00:10:29
Speaker 1: you know,
00:10:30
Speaker 1: much more evolved compared to when I started the podcasting journey.
00:10:36
Speaker 1: Number 18,
00:10:37
Speaker 1: creating content, creating podcasts and videos can have a deep
00:10:42
Speaker 1: impact on your mental health. There are many people over,
00:10:46
Speaker 1: you know, undergoing different kinds of mental health issues, depression, anxiety, fears,
00:10:51
Speaker 1: and all multiple things. But you know, once you get
00:10:53
Speaker 1: into this, what I call is content therapy, rather than
00:10:56
Speaker 1: you consuming content, you start creating content slowly but surely
00:10:59
Speaker 1: you will start to live whatever you speak.
00:11:03
Speaker 1: Let's say if you're having some mental issues or whatever,
00:11:05
Speaker 1: I mean, you're just having some depression or stress, just create,
00:11:08
Speaker 1: start creating content about how to overcome stress, start creating
00:11:11
Speaker 1: something around how to improve the the strength of your
00:11:14
Speaker 1: mind or something like learn from somewhere and share that
00:11:16
Speaker 1: in your own words. And when you do that, when
00:11:18
Speaker 1: you listen to your own voice, it will start to
00:11:20
Speaker 1: have a deep impact on your own mental health.
00:11:23
Speaker 1: Number 19 is you cannot buy trust,
00:11:28
Speaker 1: using a advertisements and stuff. You can only buy attention.
00:11:32
Speaker 1: You have to earn trust and doing podcasts like this.
00:11:36
Speaker 1: I know for sure that people have bought my products,
00:11:38
Speaker 1: my high ticket products, they have
00:11:42
Speaker 1: trusted and made that investment into my higher levels. Because
00:11:46
Speaker 1: of these podcasts,
00:11:48
Speaker 1: I've, I run a lot of ads. Yes, I'm able
00:11:51
Speaker 1: to buy attention. But for, for me to retain my customers,
00:11:55
Speaker 1: for me to have a deeper connection with them. It's
00:11:58
Speaker 1: these podcasts and videos that actually help and last but
00:12:01
Speaker 1: not the least.
00:12:02
Speaker 1: The 20th lesson that I learned after publishing 200 episodes
00:12:06
Speaker 1: is that when you stop enjoying the process, you cannot
00:12:10
Speaker 1: create an impact with it.
00:12:12
Speaker 1: In other words, I'm enjoying this process. I'm enjoying every
00:12:15
Speaker 1: single day coming up with one new idea to share
00:12:18
Speaker 1: with you.
00:12:20
Speaker 1: And if I'm not enjoying this, you won't be impacted
00:12:23
Speaker 1: by it. And similarly, for you, when you not, when
00:12:26
Speaker 1: you stop loving the process, whatever you do, it will
00:12:30
Speaker 1: not have an impact on your audience. So these are
00:12:32
Speaker 1: my 20 lessons. I would like you to share in
00:12:34
Speaker 1: the comments on my blog on which lessons impacted you
00:12:36
Speaker 1: the most. And if you are in my community or
00:12:40
Speaker 1: if you're not in my community also, if you'd like
00:12:41
Speaker 1: to know more about a three year digital code certification process.
00:12:46
Speaker 1: But once you come in, I will help you with
00:12:49
Speaker 1: different ways to find your topic. Accelerate your growth, take
00:12:53
Speaker 1: your knowledge, make it into a business with a point system,
00:12:57
Speaker 1: Gamification teams like going back to a three year degree program.
00:13:00
Speaker 1: If you truly want to experience that, I would like
00:13:03
Speaker 1: you to click on the link below on my podcast
00:13:05
Speaker 1: or go to S ID Z sids.co slash diamond and
00:13:10
Speaker 1: attend my next diamond showcase
00:13:14
Speaker 1: our on boarding process to get you on board. Cheers
00:13:16
Speaker 1: God bless, catch you in the next episode. And I'm
00:13:19
Speaker 1: waiting to see your comments below. Bye bye.
