[00:00:00] Hello and welcome to Do I Like It, a Show Jam, Harbatta Let's Go.
[00:00:03] And in this episode we are talking about the third season of TvF's Punjayatth which is streaming
[00:00:08] on Amazon Prime Video. This season starts right after the last one ended where such
[00:00:13] if G's getting transferred and Pralads and Rahul tragically gets marted. Pradhanji and Ganga
[00:00:19] facing even more resistance from Bhushan who now has the support of the local with Hyak. In this episode
[00:00:25] let us dive deep into the script of Punjayatth and try to understand that Bhai TVF has
[00:00:30] what it is that their shows leave you with such a warm yet unsettling feel. I mean when
[00:00:36] there is something like TVF's show is like this, I don't say it is good, I just say it is
[00:00:40] a must. So how does it feel? It is a very good thing. As usual episode
[00:00:45] I will show you how to show it in the first episode. Let's see. TVF is one of the
[00:00:51] oldest players when it comes to web series in India. Before Prime and Netflix shows were
[00:00:56] a thing, TVF used to make YouTube shows like permanent roommates and pictures with shoestring
[00:01:00] budgets. But those time period there were two things about these shows that resonated with people,
[00:01:05] the writing and performances. Chai pictures Kajituho, a permanent roommates come
[00:01:10] vacation, TVF and Maheshahmed is solid characters or relatable stories. And now that it's a
[00:01:14] content behemoth these two things still hold true. Over the years TVF has cultivated some
[00:01:20] amazing writers with a tight grip over the craft. He did by Biswapati Sarkar during the initial
[00:01:25] days, they have almost distilled the science of screenwriting down to the team.
[00:01:30] Or is he guy better in example, a pen giant? Kisibhi Shoki arc may
[00:01:34] three major points through there, beginning middle or end. There's a friend's last
[00:01:38] season starts with Ross finding out about Joian Rachel, beach may there's this track of
[00:01:43] channeler and monicard opting a baby and it concludes with the friends leaving New York to continue
[00:01:48] their respective lives. Panchayatka is a great player. It makes sure that
[00:01:53] the three-know-he plot points are solidly written. They are both filed out.
[00:01:57] One of the two in plot points is that you can see the scenes that the story is about.
[00:02:02] And if the three plot points are very difficult, then even the beach may be a little slow
[00:02:06] or an audience interest will lose. You can afford to have a few dull moments in these three
[00:02:12] plot points. Like in this season, the first scene is the hook you in with updates on
[00:02:17] the character. They know that the new season is about two years later, so there's a
[00:02:22] recap of the public. And the script does this with dialogue. No one wants to tell
[00:02:26] the name, then you can tell the full air is not going to be done. This is
[00:02:31] the first season of the line, which is the last season. Pradhan, you're making your home
[00:02:36] in the past few years. However, during the past, the first season of the line is
[00:02:41] the first season. But the first step is the first episode and goes away.
[00:02:48] The first episode will be the first step. Then, the next episode will be the
[00:02:53] usual story. The character, the characters and characters,
[00:02:57] the official business, is the second act.
[00:03:02] Now, if you have any script, click on the app.
[00:03:05] You can introduce it to your characters.
[00:03:08] And now you must start introducing the conflicts these characters would face.
[00:03:12] But if done wrong, these conflicts can overburden the audience all at once.
[00:03:16] Now as you can see, there is something that is a bit of a murder case.
[00:03:20] It's a roadbundy, a PM, a SEO, a MBA, a Rinky or a Chive, a romantic track,
[00:03:27] a one-track, and a binode, a cavelinus plot etc., etc., but it's a lot of work.
[00:03:30] But there's no ending, it's not overwhelming.
[00:03:33] With Hayak has a lot of work, it's fact that he has mentioned it.
[00:03:38] It's not so much so much, so that he can use it in his character.
[00:03:42] In the second episode, there's a PM, a house in the PM's house,
[00:03:45] but he can also use it in the same way as in the end.
[00:03:51] Notice how much skillfully set up the sprinting, which is in total sense in the end.
[00:03:57] In the third episode, there's a check-in for the 5th time,
[00:04:00] and a Vika's Viva, Pura, Pus, and a Chimala,
[00:04:03] and everyone has a lot of fun.
[00:04:06] Each layer feels slowly so that the audience is banned
[00:04:09] will make sense of all these conflicts.
[00:04:11] And by the time this Ava's Yujna Vala plot gets solved,
[00:04:14] the plot character also gets closure in a heartwarming scene with a mob.
[00:04:19] So what are you looking at?
[00:04:20] The writers are strategically raising the stakes in episodes 3, 4 and 5.
[00:04:25] So in the last 2 episodes, the resolution will be so boring.
[00:04:29] So let's see how the comics come out.
[00:04:32] A perfect way to craft the middle section of the script.
[00:04:35] Now let's go inside.
[00:04:36] In today's video, there are so many audiences who have been watching this video
[00:04:40] that they've been watching this video whenever they're being played with.
[00:04:43] So the most series I've ever watched is their rarely-successful last thing in fact.
[00:04:49] But the fun child deals with it season-endling in a very delicate and fun way.
[00:04:53] Now that you've been playing so many series of layered conflicts in the second act,
[00:04:57] you have to justify it and make a great season.
[00:05:00] So how do you say this?
[00:05:02] In the 7th episode, the entire game plan is to make an audience.
[00:05:05] That's why the story will be solved.
[00:05:07] So that we would have something to look forward to in the final episode.
[00:05:10] In the 8th episode, the intro credit roll was first solved.
[00:05:15] It's not like the entire 8th episode that the story is solved.
[00:05:18] And it's all about starting the story.
[00:05:21] And now let's see what consequences are in the episode of the episode.
[00:05:24] Again, having a mini 3x script in each episode,
[00:05:27] a character takes a decision,
[00:05:29] he takes a reaction and he faces them to reach a conclusion.
[00:05:32] After the vidhaya comes to full error to take his final revenge with a gun,
[00:05:36] you think a huge fight is going to happen in the episode where I'll end it up on a big bang.
[00:05:40] But nothing happens.
[00:05:44] A son and Kirkega cameo and with Hayek retreats.
[00:05:47] So anti-canitic.
[00:05:48] As audience, you are kind of disappointed that you're a bacoa.
[00:05:51] But you don't even know what's in store.
[00:05:53] Just when you let your guard down, the show comes with the final punch.
[00:05:57] Pradhanji gets shot while such a has gone for his cutting them.
[00:06:01] Just like Rahul's death in the last season,
[00:06:03] you feel like she took Hayek's serious.
[00:06:05] So we were going to say a lot about her.
[00:06:08] She was like, you know, she was like,
[00:06:09] you know, she was like,
[00:06:10] you know, she was like, you know, she was like,
[00:06:12] you know, she was like, where did you go?
[00:06:14] But you think,
[00:06:15] she's like, you know, a show excited and she was like,
[00:06:18] just like the last season.
[00:06:19] But this is her comedy.
[00:06:20] So Pradhan's style fight happens which
[00:06:23] people who were the recreation of the famous bug,
[00:06:25] but fight.
[00:06:26] And the next season is teased with the question
[00:06:28] that Hayek Pradhanji and Goli Chalai are going to go.
[00:06:31] So you're saying 7th episode where I'll end it up
[00:06:34] and 8th episode about how much I've been escalating.
[00:06:36] That's a satisfying thing.
[00:06:38] Current season has been closed.
[00:06:40] And there's a high-end season for the next season.
[00:06:42] You feel satisfied but still hungry.
[00:06:44] Kaibar film has a thing to think about.
[00:06:47] He or her logo of his film is realistic.
[00:06:50] Like, there's a clear difference between 3D arts and Kotafactory.
[00:06:53] Though he's similar themes for based on him,
[00:06:55] but one scene is much more relatable.
[00:06:57] And the other feels like a story.
[00:06:59] A very good story, but still a story.
[00:07:01] I think, you know what I'm talking about.
[00:07:03] 3D arts are the same as what I've been looking for.
[00:07:06] But it's not like this is my story.
[00:07:08] But Kotafactory is a scene that seems like
[00:07:11] he's talking about my story.
[00:07:13] And I think this is the biggest reason why TvF shows
[00:07:16] leave you with a must feeling.
[00:07:18] Not saying 3D arts isn't a must of course.
[00:07:20] But TvF shows is so as to take care of the character
[00:07:24] that makes cinematic reality.
[00:07:26] I mean, it's not a documentary,
[00:07:28] but it's also not a Hollywood.
[00:07:29] Boy, emotional, full dialogue baths,
[00:07:31] he had drama, but it is shrouded in realistic performances and emotions.
[00:07:36] Like something as bizarre as jewelry room in pictures,
[00:07:39] they commit to it and bro, it feels real.
[00:07:42] Probably because they are honest with the universe of every show.
[00:07:46] But when a simple comedy drama is so much more fun,
[00:07:49] a chance to have a hard-hitting reality.
[00:07:52] Even a tragic angle like Peralaat's son passing away
[00:07:54] was dealt with such charm.
[00:07:56] He's not overly sad, but it's not a hell of a feeling.
[00:08:00] You feel for Peralaat without having this melodramatic sympathy for him.
[00:08:05] It's like you feel when he says light, like
[00:08:07] some is a pebble, no one will ever go.
[00:08:09] His decision to not fight the election,
[00:08:11] all of this makes you connect with his grief
[00:08:13] without suddenly turning him into a serious straight-faced character.
[00:08:17] Well, we're still talking about it, but it's a very good thing.
[00:08:21] But a show like Aspirant or Pichor is a hardcore drama,
[00:08:25] so his tone is also like this.
[00:08:26] The characters are gray, they outright do terrible things to each other.
[00:08:30] A protagonist like Pichor's Naveem
[00:08:32] wouldn't fit in the world of Panchayat or Gullak,
[00:08:35] but in Pichor's he works.
[00:08:36] And that's the power of understanding screenplay.
[00:08:39] Like a small aspect, long term.
[00:08:43] Trust me, when the end of the gunwally fight
[00:08:45] or he was just praying that he would be like a hero.
[00:08:48] So, they made me care for a random side character.
[00:08:51] Now, of course, Panchayat is not a layered and intense portrayal of Indian rural life.
[00:08:56] For example, gender and caste are mere background references in the village,
[00:09:00] but you know what? That's okay.
[00:09:01] But so, up and down, it's honest to me.
[00:09:03] And Panchayat's world is simple.
[00:09:05] It is slow and it's comfortable.
[00:09:07] And so, is the series?
[00:09:08] It didn't blow my mind,
[00:09:10] but I don't think it was trying to do that.
[00:09:12] So, yes, these were my thoughts on TVF Panchayat season.
[00:09:15] Three, do let me know.
[00:09:16] Do you think I should say that I'm a hero?
[00:09:19] I'm a hero with this kind of character.
[00:09:21] I think it's a must watch,
[00:09:26] I can see it as a nice way.
[00:09:28] The TVF is a must show.
[00:09:30] As usual, the conversation continues in the comments below.
[00:09:32] This was Pratik and I'll see you in the next one.
[00:09:38] You were listening to the Quince Podcast.
