ആ റോഡിന് ഇരുവശത്തും കുറച്ചു വീടുകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. എല്ലാവർക്കും തിരക്കല്ലേ, ആരും നേരിട്ട് കാണാറുകൂടിയില്ല. വല്ലപ്പോഴും പുറത്തേക്കിറങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ആരെങ്കിലും പരസ്പരം കണ്ടാൽ കണ്ടു. മിണ്ടിയാൽ മിണ്ടി. ചിരിച്ചാൽ ചിരിച്ചു. അത്ര തന്നെ. പക്ഷെ ആ വീടുകളുടെ മതിലുകളിലുള്ള വള്ളിച്ചെടികളും പൂക്കളുമൊക്കെ നല്ല കൂട്ടായിരുന്നു. ഈ വീട്ടുകാരൊക്കെ പരസ്പരം ഒരു സ്നേഹവുമില്ലാതെ ജീവിക്കുന്നതിൽ അവർക്ക് ലേശം വിഷമവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ ഒരിക്കൽ ആ ചെടികളിലേക്ക് വിരുന്നു വരുന്ന പൂമ്പാറ്റകളും തേനീച്ചകളും ഈ കഥയൊക്കെ അറിഞ്ഞു. ഈ വീട്ടുകാരെയൊക്കെ ഒന്നിപ്പിക്കാൻ എന്താ വഴി? കഥ കേട്ടോളൂ
There were a few houses on both sides of that road. Everyone was so busy that they rarely even saw each other directly. If, by chance, someone stepped out occasionally and they happened to meet, a word or two, a fleeting smile, and that was it. However, the vines and flowers on the walls of those houses were good companions. They felt a little sad that these householders lived without any affection for each other. Then one day, the butterflies and bees that came to visit those plants learned all about this predicament. "What's the way to bring all these residents together?" What was then?
