The convening also clarified the transition from GROW Classic, focused on strengthening organisational systems, to GROW+, which emphasizes climate intelligence and cross-landscape learning through the pyramid architecture.
Two days later, on 14 February, partners stepped out of the conference room and into the field in Jharkhand. Anchored by Partnering Hope Into Action Foundation (PHIA) and hosted by grassroots partner Torpa Rural Development Society for Women (TRDSW), the visit brought the framework to life through conversations with communities about farming in the face of growing climate uncertainty, forest governance, seed diversity, and climate-resilient livelihoods.
Rather than a showcase, the field visit offered an encounter with how climate variability is experienced daily—and how community institutions, culture, and grassroots organisations work together to translate risk into response.
