[00:00:00] Hey everyone, you're listening to Ankur Warikoo on Voice with Warikoo. On this podcast I

[00:00:07] talked to you about entrepreneurship, how to grow in life, manage personal finances,

[00:00:12] handle failures and a lot more things that just come to my mind.

[00:00:16] The episode begins.

[00:00:18] Here's a question for you. Do you know which animal kills the most humans every year?

[00:00:25] Which animal kills the most humans every year? If you're thinking wild animals, lions,

[00:00:31] elephants, tigers, no that is not the right answer.

[00:00:36] If you're thinking snakes, good guess but that's not the right one either.

[00:00:40] If you're thinking mosquitoes, great guess. That's actually number two. Mosquitos are in

[00:00:47] fact the number two in the list of animals that kill most humans every year. Mostly malaria

[00:00:55] do you know which animal kills the most humans every year? It's humans. We as animals kill

[00:01:06] more humans than any other animal, every single year. War, violence, fights, terrorism.

[00:01:17] We somehow believe that this world is split into us and them. And we feel that for someone

[00:01:25] to win, someone else has to lose. And that's what we have been fed with every day, that

[00:01:31] the world is finite. It's finite in its wealth, in its growth, in its opportunities. And

[00:01:37] the only way one can get this wealth, this growth, this opportunity is to snatch it away

[00:01:44] from someone else. This is called a zero sum mindset. A mindset that says that if someone

[00:01:52] has to become plus one, then someone will have to become minus one so that the sum is

[00:01:56] always zero. If one goes up, then one has to go down. Now there's an alternative to

[00:02:04] this mindset. It's called the positive sum mindset. This as a mindset says that if someone

[00:02:11] becomes plus one, someone else can also become plus one so that the sum is positive. If

[00:02:18] one goes up, then another one can also go up. This mindset believes that there is space

[00:02:24] for everyone. There is wealth for everyone. There's growth for everyone. There are opportunities

[00:02:29] for everyone. I'm not competing with anyone. Instead, I'm finding my own space in the world,

[00:02:37] a world where there is space for everyone. When you begin to see the world as an ally or

[00:02:44] at best, witness to your journey as against, to see the world as competition, three things

[00:02:51] happen. Number one, you liberate yourself from all the fears and insecurities of you being

[00:02:57] good enough or not being good enough because everyone has their own journey now. So the

[00:03:03] question of good enough isn't about you or someone else. It's about you and who you were

[00:03:08] yesterday. Number two, you also begin to appreciate the journey of others instead of

[00:03:13] envying the journey of others. If they can do it, so can I? That's what your mind begins

[00:03:21] to tell you. And number three, perhaps the biggest thing particularly for this generation,

[00:03:26] you stop living in formal. You want to perpetually thinking about what you are doing that someone

[00:03:33] else is doing so that they can get ahead and you won't be able to, you're not living

[00:03:38] in fear that they are winning and you are losing. As you can see, having a positive

[00:03:45] some mindset liberates you. It frees you up and that is a beautiful thing. There are two

[00:03:55] ways to live life. One is to see everyone's success with suspicion and one is to see everyone's

[00:04:04] success with inspiration. All the best. Thank you for listening to this episode of Voice
