[00:00:00] Greetings my friends and Swagath here to a brand new episode of the Teenbook Podcast.
[00:00:16] I am your very own host, Slash Dost, Disha from the website for teensteenbook.in and it's
[00:00:23] that time of the year again.
[00:00:25] Are you a real season finale of the year?
[00:00:29] Yes, this is the final episode of the third season of your beloved Teenbook Podcast.
[00:00:34] Well, it may be the final episode for this season but I am very happy.
[00:00:45] You know why?
[00:00:46] Because in today's episode we talk to my personal favorite guests.
[00:00:50] You guys.
[00:00:51] So, a little context when I was in 12th and doing some very difficult integration sums.
[00:00:58] I always wondered how they would help me in my future.
[00:01:02] And going into my overthinking spiral, it further made me think about all the topics or subjects
[00:01:08] that I would have actually like to learn about in school in order to be a better version
[00:01:13] of myself now.
[00:01:15] And bus, we ask the same exact question to you guys and got some very interesting answers.
[00:01:21] Listen in.
[00:01:22] So, first let's hear from Kushy.
[00:01:30] So, according to me it is important to teach students and all the people to know it's
[00:01:37] okay to fail in our lives.
[00:01:40] But that doesn't mean you have to give up on yourself.
[00:01:43] Failure is not a bad thing.
[00:01:45] If we fail, then we will have to tell the importance of success.
[00:01:49] The real happiness of success is the path of failure.
[00:01:53] Failure is not bad.
[00:01:55] It's like part of our life.
[00:01:59] But we see a big person, he is not there yet.
[00:02:05] He is there because of failure.
[00:02:07] Wow!
[00:02:08] What a positive note to start.
[00:02:10] Gauri, what would you add?
[00:02:12] First one, sex education.
[00:02:15] It informs our make students aware about reproductive health related organs, atalants and STDs and
[00:02:22] proven from getting false information or wrong information from unauthorized resources.
[00:02:28] Second one, human behaviorism.
[00:02:31] Behavior contributes in learning.
[00:02:33] Our behavior has a lot of influence externally and internally.
[00:02:38] It will be good and a great help if students are aware about it as early as possible so
[00:02:43] that they can develop it and contribute in changing if necessary.
[00:02:48] See, the Vita team book is here bro.
[00:02:51] What do you think Shika?
[00:02:53] According to me, these days the new generation is really interested in learning some new
[00:02:58] sorts of things and I guess the language course is the best to give them because when we
[00:03:04] are young we learn new things quickly.
[00:03:07] And the youth is really quite interested in learning about the new culture, about the
[00:03:13] new languages.
[00:03:14] Well, I always wanted to learn a new language so I am Bich Shikandeson.
[00:03:19] Now let's hear from Varunath.
[00:03:21] I think it could be financial management or money management because most of the working
[00:03:26] body in our country is youth and new generation.
[00:03:30] And those freshers who just have started a new job and many of us belong to middle-class
[00:03:35] families and people don't really have very high packages.
[00:03:40] So looking at situation like this, money management is one thing that all should be taught
[00:03:45] in school and proper courses on financial knowledge must be introduced in our school
[00:03:51] curriculum via optional subject or workshops and maybe some presentations.
[00:03:56] And it would be very beneficial for everyone and the upcoming generations.
[00:04:02] Wow, what a smart answer.
[00:04:05] What do you think Panchi?
[00:04:07] If I want a subject to be a traditional school curriculum then it is for sure going to be
[00:04:13] a skill level of me because nowadays having a skill is much needed and nothing that our
[00:04:20] school likes behind it.
[00:04:22] Due to the upgrading technology, many of them are wondering as unemployed or under-employed
[00:04:29] workers so in my opinion having a skill will create more entrepreneurs and will create
[00:04:36] more employment.
[00:04:37] The future that will create a way to survive in the upcoming futuristic world and
[00:04:43] an opportunity for many of them to show off their skills too.
[00:04:47] I totally agree, imagine how much fun it would be to learn content creation or anything
[00:04:53] creative along with your friends.
[00:04:55] Now let's hear what OV thinks.
[00:04:58] I think that politeness and generosity are one of the important virtues of our life.
[00:05:03] Asking mainly focusing on academic education but they do have a responsibility to promote
[00:05:09] character education.
[00:05:11] I believe that students who possess positive social skills are more likely to succeed not
[00:05:15] only academically but also professionally.
[00:05:19] And therefore to sum up in a nutshell, I think having politeness, generosity, empathy and
[00:05:24] blindness into our curriculum can be an effective way to create more compassionate and respectful
[00:05:31] society for us.
[00:05:34] I completely agree, I mean character education is equally as important as academic education.
[00:05:40] How about you, Harit?
[00:05:41] What do you think should be added to the school curriculum?
[00:05:44] The subject which should be added apart from school curriculum is nature awareness and conservation.
[00:05:51] In today's day students are busy in enhancing technologies, gadgets and all such things
[00:05:57] and thus lack to care for the nature.
[00:06:01] Though we have some chapter related to nature content but still they are neglected or given
[00:06:06] less importance.
[00:06:08] As the students should know the responsibilities towards our planet, such subject is must
[00:06:13] to be added.
[00:06:14] 10 on 10, we all love nature.
[00:06:17] Why not learn to conserve it?
[00:06:19] Now let's hear from Amrita, what would you want as a subject?
[00:06:24] I want animal care as a subject or a topic in my school which should be added to the
[00:06:30] school curriculum as we should really care about humanity and animals like one of our best
[00:06:40] friends.
[00:06:41] They used to be our best friends, they help us in many things and they are so adorable and
[00:06:48] lovely.
[00:06:49] What a lovely answer!
[00:06:50] And last but not the least, let's hear from Anchika.
[00:06:55] I want to add topic of self-reinformed during teenage in our school curriculum.
[00:07:00] Because the life of teenagers is very sensitive and very sensitive.
[00:07:06] And we need a lot of guidance in this time which we generally do not get.
[00:07:11] So, the children who are depressed and anxious and stressed in their future are very
[00:07:19] sensitive.
[00:07:20] So, if we can talk about this topic or any topic we share with each other, then this
[00:07:27] problem can be less and the depression that is very important to us is very important.
[00:07:36] Wow!
[00:07:37] I didn't think of that.
[00:07:45] Imagine having classes on stress management.
[00:07:47] I mean nobody needs it more than teens bro, but koi bat ne.
[00:07:51] At least I know that my fellow teen bookers are thinking in the right direction.
[00:07:55] Well that's it for this season.
[00:07:58] Hope you guys found even thos are help in the episodes we created for you.
