[00:00:00] Hello there, wonderful parents and caregivers welcome back to The Baby Brain Show. Today we are diving headfirst into a topic that probably close to your heart, why taught this don't sit still for any activity?

[00:00:13] I am Dr. Nalini and together we are going to explore why those vaguely curious little beings can't seem to sit down during activity and how we can turn these moments into meaningful learning experiences. Come let's get started!

[00:00:27] Before we get into the whole podcast let me first break the myth of stillness. So let's start by addressing a notion that many of us have held at some point. The idea that toddlers should sit quietly and focus on an activity, but let's be real, Salmi.

[00:00:45] Expecting a toddler to sit still is like asking a kangaroo not to hop. These tiny dinos are wired to explore and discover and that means moment is there, middle name. And you know what moment is also very important for their overall growth and development?

[00:01:05] Now imagine this, your toddler's energy is like a little explorers backpack filled with curiosity and wonder. They are not just moving around so the sea is a bit cold, they are an omission to learn about the big wide world.

[00:01:20] Every touch, every day they really hop, every skippin' jump is a way of decoding them the series of life. Parents it's time to hit powers on the pressure to fit our toddlers into a meet, come sitting down box.

[00:01:35] Rather than seeing the directlessness as a challenge let's see it as a can was, on which we can paint a must-to-piece of curiosity. Their energy is a superpower, one that we can guide and harness in creative ways. Here is the secret.

[00:01:54] Toddless don't come with an instruction manual that's where our creativity comes in. Instead of expecting them to conform to our ideas let's meet them on their turf. Find what sparks they interest and weave that into activities.

[00:02:10] I'm remember there is beauty in the unexpected, so be ready to adapt. Think of this way, you are the DJ and your toddler is in the dance floor. Toon into their temple, if they're all about nature take them outside to explore the leaves and box.

[00:02:27] If music gets them growing turn up the tunes and dance together it's all about matching their energy. Now let's talk about mess. The glorious mess the door soon comes with toddler activities. Embrace it. Missy play is like a backstage pass to creativity from finger painting to squashing play-doh.

[00:02:47] These messy moments are not just fun, they are essential for their growth. And here is the secret. Toddless are like tiny scientist conducting experiments all day long. Play is not just play, it's their way of understanding the world.

[00:03:03] Unstructured play time like building four top-retaining to be super heroes are doing like a hospital doctor game, kitchen chip is like their laboratory of discovery. So let them learn to play and very importantly patience your greatest talent.

[00:03:24] Yes Toddless might have been one thing to another faster than a hummingbird but when they are engroast or boy they're really engroast. And empathy that's your bridge to understanding the world and guiding them with love.

[00:03:40] Let's all celebrate the tiniest victories the moments when they show a small interest or engage for a wee bit longer. These small winds are the building blocks of the development and each one deserves a virtual high flight.

[00:03:57] And there you have it a journey through the ups and downs of engaging Toddless in activities. The key, it's not about sitting still, it's about active exploration. Let's let go of old expectations and embrace the beautifully chaotic, joyfully messy and endlessly creative world of Toddless.

[00:04:17] Thank you for spending this time with me on the baby branch so I hope our chat today's parts are fresh perspective on those activity filled moments with it on the day.
