[00:00:00] Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Shhh, don't say it a third time.
[00:00:04] Reason If you haven't watched Beetlejuice 1988, then
[00:00:07] run and watch it because it's been re-released by Warner Brothers to reintroduce the cartoony
[00:00:12] evil spirit Beetlejuice, a bioexorcist who can reverse exercise humans from a house
[00:00:18] for his ghostly friends.
[00:00:20] The batty premise by the mad genius of Tim Burton led to a masterpiece in cinema starring
[00:00:26] Michael Keaton, Vinona Ryder, Gina Davis and Alec Baldwin.
[00:00:29] Now, 36 years later, Tim Burton brings back a sequel called Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and
[00:00:35] everyone goes back to doing what they were like it was yesterday.
[00:00:38] And a very cool, fun film that will be loved by all emerges.
[00:00:43] This is Omar Qureshi sharing my review of one of the most loved cinematic characters
[00:00:47] of all time on Showbox available on Spotify, YouTube and 75 plus leading audio channels
[00:00:52] worldwide.
[00:00:53] I also haunt Insta on OQspot and Showbox, so let's start this review.
[00:00:59] So Beetlejuice is the dead spirit of the once evil Graveyard robber who stole from plague
[00:01:04] victims.
[00:01:05] Now he's as nasty while and vulgar as he was in part one and can be recalled if you
[00:01:10] call his name thrice.
[00:01:12] Years later, Lydia, the psychic teenage girl who could see the ghosts of the mate land
[00:01:17] couple is back.
[00:01:18] She had a nasty encounter with Mr. Juice who was obsessed with her.
[00:01:22] Now, Lydia has a dead husband and a teenage daughter as teenagey as ever, Astrid.
[00:01:28] Lydia is a famous psychic and helps people with ghost issues.
[00:01:32] But Astrid resents her.
[00:01:34] Back in her old town Winter River for the funeral of her grandpa, Astrid meets with
[00:01:39] a local boy and a teenage romance brews while Lydia deeds keeps the lurking Beetlejuice
[00:01:45] at bay.
[00:01:45] Beetlejuice has his own problems.
[00:01:47] He's a long dead ex-wife who is a soul sucker and wants him back.
[00:01:52] A cop called Wolf who doesn't want the dead crossing over or vice versa.
[00:01:56] Wolf wants him out of the real world and Lydia is marrying someone else.
[00:02:00] Beetle has a bunch of shrunken heads called Bob working in the netherworld to keep his
[00:02:05] dead wife away.
[00:02:06] Michael Keaton is in top form as Beetlejuice once again.
[00:02:10] He wisecracks, spouts funny obscene ones and even does a parody jig from the
[00:02:15] Broadway play of the same name.
[00:02:17] He has stepped right from the earlier installment to this one without missing a
[00:02:20] beat.
[00:02:21] He's an incredible talent and Tim Burton brings out the best in him.
[00:02:25] Vinona Ryder revived by Stranger Things is brilliant.
[00:02:29] Torn between daughter, mom and man, she's delightful.
[00:02:32] A class actress who's aiming to be the new Scream Queen.
[00:02:36] Talking of Scream, Jenna Otega walks in as Astrid after her stint as Wednesday
[00:02:41] Adams in Burton's rocking series.
[00:02:44] Jenna plays a confused teen and looks cute but doesn't have much to do here since
[00:02:48] the show belongs to Beetlejuice.
[00:02:50] The surprise is the stunning Monica Bellucci as Dolores, the soul sucker.
[00:02:54] She is dropped dead gorgeous even with her cut off body parts stapled together
[00:02:59] or as the juice would say she's well put together.
[00:03:03] Monica has a presence and his evil beauty personified.
[00:03:06] They should bring her back to steal some more hearts and suck some more
[00:03:10] souls in the next installment.
[00:03:11] Danny DeVito makes a surprise entry in a cameo and the background music from the 80s is stunning.
[00:03:18] Especially BG's tragedy playing each time Dolores appears.
[00:03:22] Gems like Soul Train and 80s disco add to the fun.
[00:03:26] Tim Burton is in top form, bringing back his sandworms,
[00:03:29] distorted faces, men turned into pancakes by Dolores and it's all cool and not scary.
[00:03:35] He takes her dick at influencers who stay trapped in their media and aren't part of the real
[00:03:40] world.
[00:03:40] He has a batty climax and afterlife that's so wacky it has an immigration system that
[00:03:46] takes you to heaven or hell or the great beyond.
[00:03:49] Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is a crazy watch.
[00:03:51] It's a horror comedy in the real sense of the word.
[00:03:54] The characters, some similar to Burton's own corpse right and Edward Scissorhands are
[00:03:59] brilliantly twisted imagination.
[00:04:02] It drops in energy in the bat crazed climax when a Broadway song is attacked too long
[00:04:07] but watch it for Burton, Keaton, Monica and Vinona.
[00:04:10] You will love it.
[00:04:11] Pirate Beetlejuice Beetlejuice 3.5 stars.
