शेवटी भुईमुगाचे उत्पन्न इतके घटले की एकरी चार पोत्यांवर आले. भुईमुग काढणीच्या वेळी मजुर मिळेना.ऐन काढणीच्या वेळी पावसामुळे घरच्यांची तारांबळ उडायला लागली.भुईमुगाचा पाला जनावरे आवडीने खातात.तोही पावसात भिजल्यामुळे सडू लागला.एकूण काय तर लागोपाठ काही वर्षे भुईमुग शेती तोट्यात जाऊ लागली.घरचे बियाणे मोडले.आपल्याकडच्या डॉक्टरांनी कोलेस्ट्रॉलचा बागुलबुवा केला.लोकांनी शेंगदाणा तेलाचा धसका घेऊन सोयाबीन तेल वापरायला सुरुवात केली.
