[00:00:14] Hello everyone, this is Seema from Saamya Essential Oils and through this podcast, Saamya Shots, we hope to bring to you unique stories some personal, some that you may have read or even heard of before.
[00:00:25] But through each of these stories, we'll try and tell you how magical essential oils can be. You can listen to us on Apple Podcasts, GeoServants, Spotify, Binge Ports and all major audio platforms. In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna told Arjuna, Time has no beginning and no end.
[00:00:45] Everything we know grows on time and will perish on time. We cannot command time nor can we analyze it or criticize it. All we can do is make the most of the time we have and make it matter.
[00:01:01] Time plays an important role in our lives and our use of time very often reflects our priorities. For example, if you're the kind who's always late for meetings and appointments, people will assume you don't value their time.
[00:01:17] And what we really need to do is prioritize managing time efficiently. Time does not wait for anyone. So we have to be very mindful about making the most of every second that we've been gifted because a moment lost is lost forever. There's a famous saying,
[00:01:40] If you know the value of seconds, ask the people, one, the person who got the second rank when he was trying to win the race, the person who missed the train, the person who lost a body part in an accident,
[00:01:54] a person who lost money in the share market, a murderer who got wrong emotions. Every second is precious and valuable. So let me tell you this story. A king and a lazy man named Haria were very good friends. One morning the king asked him,
[00:02:15] Why don't you work? Why don't you go and do something for a living? Haria said, My Lord, nobody really gives me a job. My enemies have told everyone that I never do any work. They've told everyone that I'm lazy.
[00:02:30] Now the king was very kind and compassionate and Haria was a good friend of the kings. So he said, Okay, I'll give you a chance. Why don't you go to my treasury and collect as much wealth as you can, but make sure you do that before sunset.
[00:02:44] Haria rushed home and he was extremely overjoyed. He went and told his wife and now she immediately told him, You need to leave right now and get as many gold coins and gems as you can.
[00:02:56] Haria was like, Of course I'll go, but can you give me some lunch first? After lunch he took a nap for about an hour and then he set off in the late afternoon. He picked up his bags and set off in the direction of the palace.
[00:03:10] On the way he felt a little hot so he sat under a tree to rest. Two hours had gone by by then. He caught up. He saw a man showing some magic tricks. He again stopped there and he watched the magic tricks for about an hour.
[00:03:26] Then he reached the palace. It was already time for sunset and the palace gates had been shut. Haria had lost a golden chance because he just did not understand the value of time. And all of us really need to be very mindful of this, you know,
[00:03:43] because time is the coin of your life. It is the only coin you have and you can determine how it will be spent. Only you can determine how it will be spent. So we need to be really careful and not let other people spend it for us.
[00:03:58] Now to help you value time and to keep you focused at all times, we recommend a unique blend of peppermint, basil, eucalyptus and pine. Add a few drops of this to your diffuser, to your chargers, to your baths, to your lotions. Include essential oils into your daily routine.
