[00:00:00] Hello Sunshine, and how have you been? This week we begin with the story. This story

[00:00:20] I'm sure each one of us is read or at least heard about at some point in our lives.

[00:00:26] This is the story about four people named everybody, somebody, anybody and nobody.

[00:00:33] There was an important job to be done and everybody was asked to do it. Everybody was sure somebody would do it.

[00:00:40] Anybody could have done it but nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that because it was everybody's job.

[00:00:48] Everybody thought anybody could do it but nobody realized that everybody wouldn't do it.

[00:00:53] It ended up that everybody blamed somebody when nobody did what anybody could have done.

[00:00:59] And this is what we call being personally accountable. When you're personally accountable, you take ownership of situations that you're involved in.

[00:01:10] You see them through and you take responsibility for what happens. Good or bad?

[00:01:17] You don't blame others if things go wrong. Instead you do your best to make things right.

[00:01:23] Like the Dalai Lama says, when you think everything is someone's fault you will suffer a lot.

[00:01:30] When you realize that everything springs only from yourself, you will learn both peace and joy.

[00:01:38] Our life can be a beautiful experience.

[00:01:42] And look at it as a journey filled with twists and turns and unexpected adventures.

[00:01:47] And by learning to embrace accountability, you're not just a passenger but you become the driver, the navigator and the storyteller of your journey.

[00:01:59] You learn to own your story. You learn to take accountability and that's not difficult.

[00:02:07] You can do it in an easy manner.

[00:02:10] To begin taking accountability, you have to accept the pain that comes with accepting your mistakes and falls by recognizing them.

[00:02:20] By accepting that you can determine where you goofed up or made a mistake and how you plan to fix it.

[00:02:27] Hiding from a mistake or justifying your way out of it won't make it go away.

[00:02:32] In reality, errors are often harder to fix the longer you avoid them.

[00:02:38] Take responsibility instead and you will realize it lessens your burdens.

[00:02:43] Admitting our mistakes builds trust with others.

[00:02:47] We respect people who are willing to own up to their mistakes.

[00:02:53] Remember, your life is yours. It's as simple as knowing that you are in control of your own life.

[00:02:59] You can't expect different results by doing the same thing.

[00:03:04] Always remember, your life is yours. It's as simple as knowing that you are in control of your own life.

[00:03:11] You can't expect different results by doing the same thing.

[00:03:16] This applies to relationships and even your career.

[00:03:21] If you're unhappy in your current role, have you honestly taken the necessary steps to obtain a role that suits you better?

[00:03:29] Every action that you've taken up until today is the reason why you're in your current situation.

[00:03:34] Always remember that. You can either have your own pity party or take responsibility for your actions and curate the life that you want.

[00:03:43] We all are the authors of our own story.

[00:03:48] How about writing a life that's fulfilling, that helps you meet your needs and your wants?

[00:03:54] Now wasting time is the same as wasted energy.

[00:03:58] We may not have controlled the people that we attract but we do have control over what and who we entertain.

[00:04:05] Are we already to improve our patterns or are we willing to let it just stay the same because it's too much work?

[00:04:14] When it comes to reclaiming our time, we can all be accountable for that.

[00:04:19] Owning up to what you did wrong is what being accountable is all about.

[00:04:23] If a friend or a partner tells you that you did something that rubbed them the wrong way or you've heard their feelings acknowledge that.

[00:04:31] Their feelings are valid and should be respected.

[00:04:35] There are too many people running away from being honest or taking accountability.

[00:04:39] Let's learn to be responsible.

[00:04:44] There's a quote that says accountability is the ultimate measure of a person's character.

[00:04:49] So here's to each one of us learning to be responsible, willing to be accountable.

[00:04:56] Have a great week everyone and we will speak to you again next week.

[00:05:00] Take good care of yourselves.

[00:05:02] So much love to all of you.

[00:05:04] Bye for now.

[00:05:13] you
