If it's costing your "Peace of Mind," It is too "Expensive"

"Peace of mind" is invaluable and essential for overall well-being. If something is causing you distress or disrupting your peace of mind, whether it's a situation, relationship, habit, or possession, it's indeed too "expensive" in terms of its negative impact on your mental and emotional health. It's important to recognize when something isn't worth sacrificing your peace for and take steps to address or remove it from your life. Stay tuned, stay compassionate and always be kind to yourself. [00:00:00] Hello sunshine, how are you?

[00:00:18] Anything that costs you your piece is too expensive.

[00:00:23] I am sure each one of us at some stage in our lives, I'm sure, have come across people who are rude or insensitive with us. Or we may be caught in a mad rat race of sorts to fit into groups to chase what society defines as success goals, trying desperately to be liked by people who actually don't care.

[00:01:42] Chasing after material possessions or social status. I would give them too much power, placing too much importance on having certain things or maintaining certain relationships. I did not realize that I was spending a lot of my mental energy trying to maintain these relationships easy to us, doesn't it? There is a gentler way, it's called self-care, self-love. When you find that, you will realize you no longer push yourself or fight to prove

[00:04:20] yourself constantly. You realize at moments when you're trying too hard that if it's leaving us feeling anxious and confused, it's at moments like these that we need to take a step back and evaluate for ourselves whether it's worth it or not. In a world that wants to constantly tell us who to be, how to be, we need to make sure that we're not losing who we are.

[00:05:43] Because that is where our true essence is.
