[00:00:00] Hi, this is Sonal here and you are at Happiness Painting Podcast.
[00:00:13] In this particular episode I am going to tell you one interesting story.
[00:00:18] So let's start that.
[00:00:21] Once upon a time in the small village over rolling green hills there lived a young girl
[00:00:28] named Maya.
[00:00:30] Maya was known for her bright smile and the kind heart.
[00:00:35] She lived with her grandmother Nani in a cozy cottage surrounded by the beautiful garden
[00:00:43] full of colorful flowers.
[00:00:45] One year, a terrible drought hit the village.
[00:00:51] The ones by Brent Fields turned brown and the revuns rained dry.
[00:00:58] The villagers grew worried as their crops totally destroyed and their livelihood impacted.
[00:01:07] They prayed for the rain every day but the sky remained harsh, relentless blue.
[00:01:15] One evening as Maya and Nani sat on their porch, Nani looked at the dry earth and said
[00:01:22] Maya we must have faith.
[00:01:26] Faith is like a seed planted in our heart.
[00:01:30] Even though we cannot see it growing, it is always there waiting for the right moment
[00:01:36] to bloom.
[00:01:38] Maya nodded but she felt a series of doubts.
[00:01:44] She loved her Nani dearly and wanted to believe in all her words but the days were
[00:01:50] so hot and the nights were so long without a drop of rain.
[00:01:57] The next day Maya decided to visit old Ramu Kaka, a village's vice man.
[00:02:04] The old Ramu Kaka lived at the edge of the forest in the tiny hut.
[00:02:10] He was known for his wisdom and the stories that carried a lesson from the past.
[00:02:16] Ramu Kaka, Maya called as she approached his hut.
[00:02:22] Can you please tell me how to have faith when everything seems hopeless?
[00:02:28] Ramu Kaka smiled warmly and invited her to sit.
[00:02:32] He landed her a small round stone and said,
[00:02:37] This stone is like our faith.
[00:02:41] It seems hard and unchanging but it can create ripples when thrown into water.
[00:02:48] Let me tell you a small story.
[00:02:51] He began, many years ago there was a great tree in his village.
[00:02:58] It was the tallest and the strongest tree anyone had ever seen.
[00:03:04] One day a fierce storm came and uprooted the tree.
[00:03:10] The villagers were heartbroken for the tree had given them shade and the fruits for the generations.
[00:03:18] A young boy named Vishwas, much like you, asked his grandfather,
[00:03:25] How can we ever replace such a tree?
[00:03:30] His grandfather replied, We cannot replace it overnight but we can plant a new seed.
[00:03:38] We must have faith that one day it will grow into the tree just as big as and as great as this one.
[00:03:48] Vishwas was doubtful but decided to plant a seed.
[00:03:52] Every day he watered it even though there was no sign of growth.
[00:03:57] Weeks turned into the months and months turned into the years.
[00:04:02] One day a tiny sprout emerged from the soil.
[00:04:07] Vishwas was overjoyed and he continued to nurture the sprout with lot of care and patience.
[00:04:15] Years passed and that tiny sprout grew into the magnificent tree,
[00:04:22] providing shade and fruits to the village once more.
[00:04:28] Ramu Kaka looked at Maya and said, Faith is like that seed.
[00:04:33] It requires patience, care and belief in something we cannot see right away.
[00:04:40] Maya thanked Ramu Kaka and went home.
[00:04:43] Her hurt lighter than before and she decided to plant a small garden with the seeds.
[00:04:51] Her nanny had saved.
[00:04:53] Every day she watered the soil even though it remained dry and cracked.
[00:04:59] She believed in her hurt that rain would come.
[00:05:03] Weeks went by and one morning Maya woke to the sound of thunder.
[00:05:08] She rushed outside the raindrops begin to fall from the sky.
[00:05:13] The villagers danced with joy, their faith rewarded at last.
[00:05:20] As the rain soaked into the earth, Maya's garden began to sprout little green plants.
[00:05:28] The flower bloomed into brilliant colors and filling the air with the sweet fragrances.
[00:05:36] The village thrived once again and Maya understood the power of faith,
[00:05:41] an invisible seed that grows and flourishes in its own time.
[00:05:47] From that day onwards, Maya always carried a small stone in her pocket
[00:05:53] and reminded of Ramu Kaka's story and the lesson of faith.
[00:05:58] And whenever the villagers faced hard time, Maya would share her story and reminded everyone that
[00:06:06] even in the darkest time, faith could light the way.
[00:06:13] So this was the story of Maya.
[00:06:15] I hope you thoroughly enjoyed this story
[00:06:19] and you also got the lessons of having a faith on your work,
[00:06:24] having a faith on you.
[00:06:27] So with this, I am closing this podcast and let's tune for our next episode.
[00:06:33] Bye-bye.
