[00:00:00] You are listening to the Quince Podcast. A Small Town, You are listening to the podcast Escape With Zubin and this is your guiding voice, Subinath Ray. We are about to start a guided meditation where we will go through the alleys of a small town.
[00:00:37] Before we begin make sure that you are in a comfortable and safe environment, where you could practice stillness for the next 8 to 10 minutes. Please understand that this is your personal time and you must have it, but in your life when there is you and only you.
[00:01:10] Close your eyes. You are standing at a charming railway platform and there are only a few people around you. It seems to be a place lesser known. It's a fairly small platform. Just when you are appreciating the beauty and the cleanliness of the platform, your attention
[00:01:54] is demanded by the whistle of the steam engine as it leaves the platform. You make your way outside the platform. As you step out of the station these sounds around you have suddenly changed. You can now hear the sound of distant echoes of children playing.
[00:02:37] Music wafting in from the above. The kek of many of the street vendors selling their wares. Oddly the mad rumblings of the world around you feel comforting white noise to you. It's a sunny day, rather warm, but the many trees and the long sheds of the establishments
[00:03:26] in the street protect you from the rays of the sun. You are kept away from the heat within the shadows. This street you tread is so well covered by these sheds that it feels like the inside of a house.
[00:04:00] Because of the colors of the shades above each establishment, these shadows are filled with colors. As you are walking you are led into an old, well-built and a preserved house. Before you enter, you take a long deep look at the beauty that stands in front of you,
[00:04:37] antique and tall. Yet sustaining among the many creepers, vegetation and the wires now hold its structure together. This house is a spectacle. Those who have built it have done so with their own hands and so it stands.
[00:05:21] As you step in, you realize the natural temperature of the house has gone down by nearly 5 degrees. The house smells of vegetation and earth. You walk through the first empty room. You take a good look around.
[00:06:11] You go further in and you have arrived in the patio, a beautiful sunlit patio. You look up. The sky is blue and layered with clouds. You go into the adjoining room and you see a mysterious trunk laying there, locked.
[00:06:57] You look at it and then you reach out with your hand into your pocket and this is the key you have always had with you. The key fits right in and the trunk is opened by this key you have always had.
[00:07:26] Within the trunk is everything you have ever needed or manifested. Courage, wisdom, wealth, motivation. You feel reassured of the fact that this is a place you can come to. Whenever you need, you are comforted by the fact that the key is always with you.
[00:08:22] You visualize yourself smiling, the light and the patio falling on your face. The wisdom and the knowledge you have discovered within the trunk has assured you of the fact that the key is always with you. Within your reach, within you. Now become aware of your real surroundings.
