Syncretism shouldn’t be a four-letter word

Last week’s episode was on Indian syncretism through the lens of Muslim poets writing in Urdu on Hindu epics. This week, I’ve attempted a broader perspective. The dictionary definition of syncretism is: “The amalgamation or attempted amalgamation of different religions, cultures, or schools of thought.” This may as well be the definition of India itself.
