[00:00:03] Hey everyone, this is Voice with Warikoo, with my Ankur Warikoo. In this English podcast series, I cover many things in this English podcast series. Career, relationships, personal finance, success, failure, and frankly, something else that comes to the time. Every week on Thursday, a new episode on your favorite podcast platform, Voice with Warikoo.

[00:00:29] So my team, which is called Warikoo, we go on an offsite every three months. And that's largely because we are a completely remote team. So the country, and that's largely because we are a completely remote team. So the team is spread out all across the country and we don't meet, we don't have an office. So the offsite is a way for us to spend time together. And we just last week returned from our 14th offsite, which was four days in Shillong,

[00:00:56] filled with travel, food, laughter, and relaxation. In our team meeting, I shared three key points for everyone. And I believe that these three points apply to not just businesses, but to individuals as well. And I want to share them on this episode. Number one, this year, 2025, it marks our fifth anniversary as a team. We began in March 2020 with six people aiming to create accessible, helpful content and courses.

[00:01:24] And in five years, we have gained 15 million social media followers. We have taught 440,000 plus students. We have generated 85 crores of revenue at 25% EBITDA margin or profit margin. We have distributed 1.97 crores for 397 students' education as charity or contribution. And we have shared 2.5 crores as team profit within the team.

[00:01:54] But what worked before won't work moving forward. Processes, technology, team members, they will change. And we will have to embrace that to stay relevant and to be purpose-driven. And what that means for every individual is that you have to adapt. What worked once may not work again. And you have to change to be able to grow. Number two, we are no longer small.

[00:02:21] Yes, we love our light-hearted, childlike spirit. But at our scale, 15 million followers and 440,000 students, our actions, our mistakes, they impact a lot of people. So we bear a responsibility towards them. And we must act thoughtfully. We have to vet partnerships or brands that we work with. We have to measure our moves. And we have to do that while staying humble.

[00:02:48] And what that means for individuals is that growth is inevitable. And with growth will come responsibility. Your words and your actions, they will be judged. So take it seriously. Wear it proudly. But while at the same time letting your inner child shine. And number three, perhaps the most important point that I made. After five years, some team members have been in roles for two to five years. And stagnation is possible.

[00:03:18] And while the company accepts meeting expectations, you shouldn't accept meeting expectations. Keep growing. Avoid comfort. Use people and technology for leverage and your time to build yourself. And what that means for people is that winners rent knowledge. They don't rent their time. I am personally very excited for WebVeda, which is what we are building for the next five years.

[00:03:45] And I hope that you are excited for your next five years as well. All the best. If you like this week's episode, please don't forget to review your platform. Don't forget to subscribe to Voice with Variku. Every Thursday, a new episode. On your favorite podcast platform.
