[00:00:08] Namaste and welcome to another episode of Vaastu Vibes, Harmonising Spaces.
[00:00:13] I am your host Marri Gopi Srinivas Reddy.
[00:00:15] In today we are diving into an extraordinary narrative, one that blends history, innovation
[00:00:21] and ancient wisdom to highlight the unyielding spirit of a nation that has become a beacon
[00:00:27] of hope and ingenuity Israel.
[00:00:30] We will explore how this small country often surrounded by adversity overcame unimaginable
[00:00:37] odds to establish itself as a leader in agriculture, technology and defence.
[00:00:42] And how the ancient principles of Vaastu Shastra align with Israel's triumphs.
[00:00:48] So sit back and get ready to be inspired.
[00:00:53] Israel's Birth and Early Struggles Our story begins in 1948, a year after
[00:00:58] India gained independence.
[00:01:00] A new country opened its eyes Israel.
[00:01:03] Born in the midst of hostility, surrounded by powerful Arab nations, Israel was a nation
[00:01:09] of displaced people.
[00:01:11] The Jews, having wandered like nomads, were recovering from the brutalities of the Nazi
[00:01:16] regime.
[00:01:18] They found themselves in a land with no rivers, no natural water bodies, barren desert
[00:01:23] soil and an unforgiving climate.
[00:01:25] This was a place where even a single seed struggled to sprout.
[00:01:30] Many doubted their survival.
[00:01:31] Its early years were marked by food scarcity, water shortages and continuous threats from
[00:01:38] neighbouring Arab nations who sought to diminish its sovereignty.
[00:01:42] Despite this disadvantage Israel dare to dream big.
[00:01:47] The area of Israel is 21,720 square kilometres with a population of over 9 million.
[00:01:55] This country's extent is lesser than the combined extent of East Godavari and Guntur
[00:02:01] districts of Andhra Pradesh, which is 22,317 square kilometres.
[00:02:07] The population of Israel is much lesser than the population of Hyderabad city, the capital
[00:02:13] of Telangana, which is over 11 million.
[00:02:16] Fast forward to 2024 and this small desert nation has transformed into a leader in
[00:02:22] multiple fields, agriculture, technology and water management.
[00:02:26] Israel has demonstrated to the world what resilience, innovation and sheer determination
[00:02:33] can achieve.
[00:02:34] But how did they do it?
[00:02:36] How did a country with such limited resources emerge as a global leader?
[00:02:41] Despite these harsh realities Israel never wavered.
[00:02:45] It took these negatives and turned them into a series of powerful positives.
[00:02:49] The story of Israel is one where grit and determination met innovative thinking
[00:02:54] and perseverance, transforming what seemed to be a hopeless terrain into one of the most
[00:03:01] advanced and efficient agricultural nations in the world, the role of geography and
[00:03:05] vastu shastra.
[00:03:07] The Dead Sea lying in the east of Israel is the lowest point on earth.
[00:03:12] This is a very strong aspect of vastu which has garnered Israel a top position in
[00:03:17] the committee of developed nations.
[00:03:19] To the west lies the Mediterranean Sea, a body of water considered a negative feature
[00:03:24] as per the principles of vastu shastra.
[00:03:27] This could be one of the reasons for the constant strife with the Arab nations.
[00:03:31] Another main feature of northern Israel is the Carmel mountain.
[00:03:36] This beautiful mountain stands right next to the Mediterranean Sea and rises to a height
[00:03:40] of around 550 meters.
[00:03:43] To the actually part of a large mountain range that stretches all the way to the
[00:03:48] northwestern corner of Samaria.
[00:03:50] This is a positive factor negating the effect of the Mediterranean Sea in this particular area.
[00:03:56] Jerusalem sits on the top of this ridge, east of which lies the Dead Sea.
[00:04:01] Jerusalem is a holy city to the Christians, Jews and Muslims.
[00:04:05] The negative desert, which occupies a major portion of southern Israel, comprises approximately
[00:04:11] 20,000 square kilometers, more than half of Israel's total land area.
[00:04:17] The southern, Judean mountains and the Arawa Valley as its eastern border are very strong
[00:04:24] powerful features as per vastu.
[00:04:27] The Sea of Galilee, also called the Kinneret, is Israel's largest and most important freshwater
[00:04:33] lake located in the northeast of the country.
[00:04:37] The Jordan River rises on the slopes of Mount Hermon on the border between Syria
[00:04:41] and Lebanon and flows southward through northern Israel to the Sea of Galilee,
[00:04:47] like Tiberias.
[00:04:48] Exiting the sea, it continues south before emptying into the Dead Sea.
[00:04:54] Encapsulating the strong features of vastu of Israel.
[00:04:58] In the south of Israel there is a vast desert negave, water resources in the northeast
[00:05:03] in the form of the Sea of Galilee and in the east the Dead Sea.
[00:05:07] These blissful features made Israel a titan and a glorious nation in the world.
[00:05:14] Israel's geographical location presented a unique set of challenges.
[00:05:18] With deserts like the negave covering over 50% of the land, Israel was a far cry from
[00:05:24] being an agricultural paradise.
[00:05:26] Yet, it defied geographical limitations much like the principles of vastu Shastra,
[00:05:32] an ancient Indian science of architecture and space alignment which teaches us to
[00:05:36] overcome negative influences and harness the elements to our advantage.
[00:05:41] The Israelites didn't just accept their geographical disadvantages, they
[00:05:45] harnessed them, they turned the scarcity of water into an opportunity to innovate
[00:05:50] inventing the world's first repirugation system.
[00:05:53] This system now used worldwide revolutionized agriculture by using minimal
[00:05:58] water to achieve maximum yield proving that even the harshest deserts can
[00:06:03] bloom with the right approach.
[00:06:06] Agricultural transformation and technological innovation.
[00:06:10] By the 1960s, Israel had completed the National Water Carrier Project, an
[00:06:16] ambitious endeavor that transported water from Lake Galilee in the northeast to
[00:06:21] the southern highlands in the arid regions of the negave desert.
[00:06:25] This project turned vast stretches of unproductive land into green fields
[00:06:30] brimming with life and then came the miracle of repirugation.
[00:06:34] What began as a desperate measure to survive turned into globally adopted
[00:06:39] technology.
[00:06:41] Today, Israel's agricultural prowess is renowned worldwide.
[00:06:45] The negave desert once barren and inhospitable now produces high quality
[00:06:50] tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers along with a variety of fruits like
[00:06:54] pomegranates and citrus.
[00:06:56] These innovations enabled Israel to not only meet domestic demand but also
[00:07:00] export its produce to Europe and beyond.
[00:07:03] Israeli farmers continue to push boundaries.
[00:07:07] They have introduced greenhouses, hydroponics and the use of technology
[00:07:10] like sensors to monitor soil moisture and crop health in real time.
[00:07:15] One such innovation developed by FIEDTECH allows plants to communicate
[00:07:19] with farmers ensuring optimal water usage and crop yield and integration
[00:07:24] of technology and nature that epitomizes the very essence of Vastu Shastra.
[00:07:29] Israel's dairy industry a global leader.
[00:07:32] Israel's mastery doesn't end with agriculture.
[00:07:35] The Israeli dairy industry is another triumph of technology and management.
[00:07:40] With an average milk yield of 12,265 kilograms per cow annually in 2024,
[00:07:47] Israel has the highest milk production per cow in the world.
[00:07:51] Compare this to Denmark's 10,571 kilograms and the Netherlands 9,086 kilograms
[00:07:57] and you realize the magnitude of this achievement.
[00:08:00] The average milk yield per cow per annum in Israel is almost 12 times that of India.
[00:08:07] Despite having only 1,15,000 plus dairy cattle, Israel's annual milk production stands at 1.6
[00:08:15] billion liters. This efficiency is not the result of luck but the application of cutting-edge
[00:08:21] technology and precise farm management.
[00:08:24] The famous Israeli cow named Karthar residing in the Negev holds the world record for producing
[00:08:31] 18,208 liters of milk in a single year and achievement no other country has matched
[00:08:38] defending sovereignty and overcoming adversity. Israel's rise wasn't without fear supposition.
[00:08:45] The Arab nations wielding immense soil wealth have attacked Israel time and again
[00:08:51] from the War of Independence in 1948 to the Yom Kippur War in 1973. The Arab-Israeli conflicts
[00:08:59] have been a continuous test of the nation's resolve and military prowess.
[00:09:04] Yet Israel emerged victorious every time not just defending its sovereignty but becoming a global
[00:09:10] leader in defense technology. This spirit of resilience resonates deeply with the principles
[00:09:16] of Vastu Shastra where strength, adaptability and overcoming negative influences are key elements.
[00:09:22] Israel's military and strategic innovations are a testament to this ethos. Even today amidst
[00:09:30] ongoing conflicts with militant and terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, Israel stands
[00:09:36] tall backed by an unmatched defense infrastructure in the resilient population.
[00:09:42] Lessons for the world Israel's story is one of turning disadvantages into assets
[00:09:47] of overcoming geographical, political and economic challenges with innovation and sheer willpower.
[00:09:54] It's about how a small nation built on hope and collective effort can transform itself into a
[00:10:00] beacon of excellence for the world. From barren deserts to lush farmlands from struggling
[00:10:06] to produce a single crop to becoming a global leader in dairy and agriculture, Israel's journey
[00:10:12] is a powerful lesson for nations and individuals alike that with the right alignment both in strategy
[00:10:18] and spirit anything is possible. The story of Israel and the principles of Vastu Shastra
[00:10:24] beautifully aligned to show us that limitations are often self-imposed and that where there
[00:10:30] is determination there is always a way. Remember every challenge carries the seed of opportunity
[00:10:35] and with innovation, resilience and spirit of collective effort you can transform even
[00:10:41] the harshest realities into sources of strength and prosperity. Thank you for tuning into Vastu
[00:10:47] Vipes Harmonizing Spaces. Until next time keep pushing boundaries and stay inspired.
[00:10:53] This is Marui Gopis, Reenuwas Reddy signing off. Namaste.
