ദാനശീലയായ പുളിമരം

പണ്ട് പണ്ട് കന്നഡദേശത്ത് ഒരു ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ ഒരു വലിയ പുളിമരമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. എല്ലാവർഷവും വസന്തകാലം കഴിയുമ്പോൾ ആ മരത്തിൽ ധാരാളം പുളികൾ പിടിക്കും. നാട്ടുകാരും കുട്ടികളുമെല്ലാം അതിൽ നിന്ന് ആവശ്യത്തിനനുസരിച്ച് പുളി പറിച്ചു. നല്ല ഇലച്ചാർത്തുള്ള മരമായിരുന്നു അത്. അതിനാൽ തന്നെ കടന്നുപോകുന്ന സഞ്ചാരികൾക്കും വ്യാപാരികൾക്കുമൊക്കെ ആ മരം തണലേകി. തൊട്ടടുത്ത് താമസിച്ചിരുന്ന രാക്കമ്മ എന്ന വിധവയായിരുന്നു പുളിമരത്തിന്റെ സംരക്ഷക. ഇവിടെ സംസാരിക്കുന്നത് പ്രിനു പ്രഭാകരൻ, Script: എസ്. അശ്വിൻ
