Bicycle Thieves (Italian: Ladri di biciclette; sometimes known in the United States as The Bicycle Thief) is a 1948 Italian neorealist drama film directed by Vittorio De Sica. It follows the story of a poor father searching in post-World War II Rome for his stolen bicycle, without which he will lose the job which was to be the salvation of his young family.
’बायसिकल थिव्ह्स’ हा व्हिटोरियो डी सिका दिग्दर्शित 1948 चा इटालियन निओरिएलिस्ट ड्रामा चित्रपट आहे. दुसर्या महायुद्धानंतरच्या रोममध्ये एका चोरी झालेली सायकल शोधत असलेल्या वडिलांची कथा आहे, ही सायकल मिळाली नाही तर ते नोकरी गमावतील आणि मग आपल्या कुटंबाला तो आधार देऊ शकणार नाहीत. त्यामुळे ही सायकल शोधणं त्यांच्यासाठी अपरिहार्य आहे. अशी या चित्रपटाची थोडक्यात कथा आहे.
