In 1610, the Durga Puja of the Roy Chowdhury family began. 400 years have passed, and even today the glory of Roy Chowdhury house has not faded. In the course of time from rituals to decoration much has changed in Durga Puja but the grand festival keeps on adding colour, enriches life and sparks new ideas. Asian Paints has gladly celebrated the festival since its inception and gave rise to Sharad Samman which has been synonymous with the festival since 1985. This limited series special podcast - ‘Madhur Smriti’ is another initiative by Asian Paints to collect stories and memories of Durga Puja festival in Bengal.
