[00:00:00] Hi, this is Aarush and this is Rupali. Welcome to our podcast, Growing Up Together, where we

[00:00:10] will discuss about health, travel, life experiences, goals, parenting and much more.

[00:00:22] Hi everyone, I hope you all are doing great. So let's dive into our today's topic. So

[00:00:27] Aarush, what are we discussing today? How to manage your time during vacations.

[00:00:32] Yeah, that's an interesting one because I think that will really help lot of people out there. So

[00:00:40] what are the points you have in your mind while managing your vacation?

[00:00:44] Well, so I have like five points that really helped me enjoy my vacation. So the first one is

[00:00:51] planning. I like to plan ahead of my vacation so I know exactly what I'm going to do,

[00:00:56] where I'm going to visit, the food I'm going to eat, the people I'm going to meet, the party

[00:01:00] I'll have. So I think planning ahead is one of the most important points.

[00:01:06] Wow, that is really good because if you are clueless of what you are going to do,

[00:01:11] you will end up doing nothing. So amazing. Okay, what is the second point you suggest?

[00:01:18] Finding a new hobby. I think it's important for people to engage themselves in a new hobby.

[00:01:23] So this will help them socialize with people, have fun and most importantly,

[00:01:28] not get bored during vacation. For me, honestly, I love football. So I think people should find a

[00:01:35] new hobby like painting, cooking, art, etc. Yeah, and you also get to learn new skill and sometimes

[00:01:44] get to know that you have some skills which were hidden. So that gives you a good chance of

[00:01:51] exploring something new about you. So definitely, hobby is one of the things which helps you

[00:01:56] to de-stress and also learn new things. That's great. Okay, so what is the next on your list?

[00:02:04] So I think organizing your home is another really good thing. I like to do during my

[00:02:09] vacation. Like, I remember last summer my room was really boring. So I took it up to myself

[00:02:15] and redecorated my room and now I have hung posters. I reorganized my drawer.

[00:02:21] I put a vision board. I even put posters about football like Matthew and Ronaldo who are the

[00:02:27] goats of football, obviously. So yeah, I think home organizing organization is another thing that

[00:02:33] will take up most of your time and really make you enjoy your vacations. Yeah, I mean,

[00:02:38] it might be boring sometimes but when you see the end result, it is really very peaceful and

[00:02:45] you feel that wow, now you are living in a very clean and organized space. So that is very,

[00:02:53] very important point, Arush. And because during our working days, it's very difficult for us to get

[00:03:01] time and organize things. So I think over the weekends or during vacation time, we should take

[00:03:06] up this activity definitely which will remove lot of clutter. And they also say that a cluttered

[00:03:13] home or a cluttered space is equal to a cluttered mind. So yeah, thanks for sharing that. So we

[00:03:21] covered three points. Let me cover the fourth point here. So the fourth thing which you can do is

[00:03:28] socialize. Yeah, I think socializing is a really important thing. Me, I personally love

[00:03:34] having parties at my house. Most of my friends come. So I think we have a party like every

[00:03:39] month or so. So I think socializing with people, meeting up with your friends,

[00:03:43] just talking and gossiping, I think that's a really good part of vacations.

[00:03:48] Yeah, and then you get to learn new things, new ideas. So yeah, socializing, meeting friends,

[00:03:56] exchanging ideas, exchanging your love for them, that is a good way of spending your vacation.

[00:04:01] You can also utilize your vacation to have some good family time where you can take

[00:04:08] some off and just be with your family and spend some quality time. Okay, so that brings me to the

[00:04:16] fifth point which is travel. And that is my favorite. So vacations is the only time where you can

[00:04:23] plan a vacation of at least a week to three weeks where you can explore some new destination,

[00:04:30] explore the nature, the beach, you know, the aquariums, different cultures,

[00:04:38] do some outdoor adventures. So you use this time to come out of your comfort zone and do

[00:04:48] something which you have never done before so that you can share these stories when you come

[00:04:53] back and you know, relive those memories again and again. Like I remember last year we had Daxhera

[00:05:02] holidays and I remember we went to Thailand, it was really good. We went to water parks,

[00:05:08] we did, we went to an aquarium, we did everything on this list. So I think traveling really

[00:05:14] takes your mind off things and really helps you to be diverse about all the cultures.

[00:05:19] I remember trying Thai food in Thailand and I didn't like it at all. I'll be honest with all of you.

[00:05:26] Yeah, but I'm sure you would have enjoyed that para sailing activity which you did for the first

[00:05:32] time. Yeah, that was awesome. Yeah. So I think yes we covered all the five points where

[00:05:39] wherein it will help you to plan your holidays much better. So that's all for this podcast.

[00:05:45] So stay tuned, catch you in our next podcast. This is Arosh. This is Rupali. Signing out.
