[00:00:58] the weekend and so we do have a few topics to talk about. Let's get the obvious out of the way

[00:01:18] great performance and qualification he held the race and kudos to Piesty as well man

[00:01:23] He was driving the hell out of that car but yeah he didn't have a chance against Leclerc

[00:01:31] Yeah yeah he literally held the race lap seven eight nine whenever was Leclerc train and he

[00:01:37] held the race

[00:01:41] Piesty I think like had an opportunity maybe once when you're super close but

[00:01:48] But it's Monaco man it doesn't matter like if Ricardo can win with a limping car then

[00:02:40] to cry while giving like Leclerc the award and even later on like he was still talking to him

[00:02:47] it almost felt to me like it was his reprise dream of you know being winning a race or

[00:02:52] something yeah and he was living it through Leclerc

[00:02:56] Yeah I remember this meme from some some Bollywood movie where it's like Govinda is

[00:03:01] like itini khushi itini khushi mujhe aaj tak nahi hui and he's crying happily yeah

[00:03:07] Did he actually go back home on a cycle like is that true?

[00:03:22] and he was right next to their car and they're like just it's so weird that he's

[00:03:39] and somewhere like even the paddock with like Vaser, Vaser sort of like feels like a

[00:03:44] Italian mafia gangster with like a cool you know sadistic you know those like

[00:03:50] sadistic psychological killers psychopaths right which you just have fun all the time but behind

[00:03:57] like real business they give the shit yeah so he seems that way because I mean even yesterday

[00:04:04] right like we've seen we've seen some wins and some celebrations and you know everything

[00:04:09] and noobs being noobs they celebrate and jump into that swimming pool but no the homeboy

[00:04:16] yesterday showed how real celebrations are done right like you gotta jump into the marina

[00:04:42] then I saw this shot where like some third person in the corner of the camera also jumped

[00:04:58] and he was not even wearing the Ferrari kit okay he was in some other clothes as well so I was

[00:05:02] very confused what's going on too much to party maybe exactly but it was pretty awesome

[00:05:09] like even after like as the race finished like the radio he's talking like Lakkak is talking

[00:05:15] with his engineer and he's like yeah so like nobody's going home tonight like cancel your

[00:05:20] flights and you know yeah and then they're like yeah yeah sure yeah and then the commentator is

[00:05:25] like I think like Lakkak is gonna pick up a very heavy bar time tonight yeah I'm sure but

[00:05:31] while we are talking about wins and celebrations right Leklerk wasn't the only one who tasted

[00:05:38] victory yesterday there's this little prince young prince or decade or whoever it was

[00:05:45] yeah yeah I know what you're talking about okay let's tell the audience right so there's this

[00:05:52] beautiful podium ceremony the royal family is happy and there's this kid young prince or

[00:05:58] you know whoever that kid is I don't know if like the other the other lady was her nanny

[00:06:04] or like the the queen or we don't know right so you get it and then they're spraying

[00:06:11] this kid wants to go ahead he's being held not sure he gets some spray onto his jacket and he

[00:06:17] is then like literally licking off like a cat who cleans themselves he's trying to catch that

[00:06:24] one tiny drop of champagne that somehow runs it on the shoulder the boy got literally finally

[00:06:31] got to taste the neck of the gods by licking it off himself oh man that's what I said that's

[00:06:38] why I say like it felt like a family function it did really like it and I don't know if you

[00:06:43] saw this even like the prince of Monaco he was also spraying champagne like this is the first

[00:06:47] time I've ever seen that whoever like the guest is is also celebrating a lot yeah yeah

[00:06:54] two things right like first obviously first home race win for a homeboy right like first

[00:06:59] monogasc to win the race as far as I know oh yeah he must be right that's what I was

[00:07:03] actually thinking yeah I think so that's why I'm pretty confident but then again yeah and and second

[00:07:09] I don't think Leclerc will have to pull the tab from last night I'm pretty sure it's gonna

[00:07:14] be state sponsored oh of course man yeah I'm pretty sure it's gonna be state sponsored

[00:07:24] moving on from Ferrari A to let's let's talk about Ferrari B oh yeah how many how many times

[00:08:45] but what was that first lap I mean sure Alonso said like if I see a gap I will go for it

[00:08:51] but then you can't go for every little gap that you see right you got to even measure

[00:08:54] if your car is gonna fit through it insane dude you know I was totally on K-Max side

[00:09:02] like two races ago and this time I'm like you know fuck him dude seriously ban him ban the

[00:09:07] shit out of me and then Nico Alkenburg's literally going on a Sunday stroll like oh god just tap it

[00:09:14] so unnecessary oh man that was so perfect what he said so unnecessary

[00:09:21] man first of all like Perez's car he was it was like smashed to bits like there was

[00:09:26] nothing left it was when they like panned to him first of all I thought like what the

[00:09:32] fuck happened you know like there's debris everywhere like there's no wheels on the car

[00:09:36] there's just like the monocoque so um I was I was about to board a flight right like

[00:09:44] right before the race and my friend and I were seeing on his phone and then we were seeing oh

[00:09:50] brilliant race start amazing lovely everything's good looks like science has locked up and he

[00:09:55] goes away on the sides right and that's what happened and then after the the hairpin and

[00:10:01] they go into the tunnel there's a red flag I'm like that's a bit serious and why would they

[00:10:06] write for science exactly yeah why is a bike on the track yeah why is a bike on the track um

[00:10:17] and then both the houses are facing each other as well like yeah um and then the other right

[00:10:24] after that that imagery right like both of us are wondering we don't see any debris where is

[00:10:30] the rest of his hair and it turns out like since turn three everything scattered into so

[00:10:36] many bits and pieces like yeah this is a red flag of course and you know the funny thing

[00:10:43] is I don't know if you saw this but from like Zhao's view because he was right behind

[00:10:47] all that chaos at one point he was like stuck in all that debris like everything crashed yeah

[00:10:52] everything happened and then he's trying to tiptoe through it and then there's this medical car there

[00:10:57] as well and he's not even fast yeah yeah he's like I mean I was expecting some turn one drama

[00:11:05] because that that that right turn is a bit of a you know drama-y situation but I didn't expect

[00:11:11] like a turn three drama yeah yeah it's insane man it's just crazy like first of all there

[00:11:16] was no gap and I think I'm not sure about this yet but at least from the video footage

[00:11:21] that I've seen till now it seems like K-Mag actually touched the wall a little just before

[00:11:26] like hitting Perez oh is it I wonder if because like at least from the far away angle camera

[00:11:34] so maybe there was like a recoil you can see some yeah maybe there was some recoil and like

[00:11:38] he got pushed into him yeah still his mistake either ways like don't touch the walls first of

[00:11:45] all and then after this whole situation there's this clip of like why is the race not restarting

[00:11:53] soon enough and everything like see 12 marshals clicking photo posing with the car and everything

[00:11:59] I'm like what is this entertainment going on I swear oh and the best part was the very fact

[00:12:09] everybody like the camera crew commentators everybody did not notice that Ocon had self

[00:12:15] sabotaged himself by the way and like exactly yeah you don't know about it but I don't nobody

[00:12:20] noticed this wait what happened on lap one before the red flag came in when they were like near

[00:12:26] the tunnel though when the entire pack was there Ocon was trying to make a move on Ghastly

[00:12:31] and he basically there was no space left for Ghastly and Ocon's rare tire went on top of

[00:12:38] Ghastly's front tire and his car just flew in the air wait but I thought this was lap eight or

[00:12:44] something which caused the second red flag no my time dilation is so wide that I thought that

[00:12:50] first lap was eight laps okay that makes sense felt that way I can understand okay makes sense

[00:12:57] and like nobody noticed this and while everybody's waiting for the red flag situation to like

[00:13:02] you know get settled that time they somehow found us out and then at that point they showed the

[00:13:08] replay of that what the hell is going on why why oh I remember this angry oh yes I remember

[00:13:15] this super angry radio message from Ghastly or like why why was he attacking what was the

[00:13:21] need wait isn't there also a thing where like the team boss came onto like the French tully

[00:13:26] said there will be consequences yeah yeah of course I mean of course like first of all they

[00:13:33] have received only one point in this season okay so for them points are so important both

[00:13:38] of them were in points I think they were eighth and tenth at that point and Monaco being Monaco

[00:13:43] it's like you are going to retain this position anyways so it was guaranteed what

[00:13:49] one plus three four points for them yeah and he just fucking like destroyed his own dream

[00:13:56] that's it like insane and the very fact that like the he got a penalty obvious for that even

[00:14:03] though he retired he got a 10 second penalty right but then since he retired of course like

[00:14:08] they had to still punish him like five seconds five great penalty for the next time sure there's

[00:14:15] this beautiful video of Max's post-race interview and then Russell joins him right

[00:14:24] and and that one and a half minute is exactly the complete summary of of the race yesterday

[00:14:31] yeah pretty much exactly yeah Monaco needs to change some something needs to change something

[00:14:36] needs to change yeah fucking snooze fest man seriously exactly it's so weird like at one point

[00:14:43] I saw Sunoda was an entire lap down from Hamilton like and there are like cars lined up behind him

[00:14:51] and nobody's able to overtake him and at one point I remember there were two independent

[00:14:56] radio messages I think one for Russell and one for I think Leclerc where both the engineers

[00:15:02] said that there's no need to push this much you know just slow down like yeah yeah I remember

[00:15:07] this Russell was asking about something and he's like no need yeah why and he's like sure okay

[00:15:15] seriously I caught two camera clips where actually three one for Ferrari where the radio

[00:15:24] engineer was just chilling second for McLaren where one of their engineers was on the phone

[00:15:30] doing something and third was behind Brundle looked like someone was barbecuing so

[00:15:39] that sums up of how boring the race was yesterday

[00:15:43] ah man it was awesome when when like the that reporter asked Max of you know

[00:15:48] was it boring for you and he's like how was it for you

[00:15:51] dude I loved some of the suggestions that Max and Russell came up with like one lap on foot

[00:16:01] you know just running through the track it should be that way like

[00:16:07] then mandatory pit stops mandatory nap breaks mandatory five at least five pit stops yeah right

[00:16:14] break yeah yeah nap break then toilet break because I think Max had to go to the toilet as well

[00:16:23] when cars are too long and too wide man for Monaco it just doesn't make sense like

[00:16:28] long back when the cars were small Monaco made sense yeah yeah yeah if they make these

[00:16:33] regulations anymore you know for longer and wider cars I don't think they'll be able to

[00:16:38] take that hairpin anymore they'll have to reverse the cars in between like three point turn

[00:16:46] was three point turn on the calendar

[00:16:53] that would be fun man

[00:16:57] one thing I think you know the thing about Monaco is like yeah we all know like overtaking

[00:17:03] is almost impossible yeah quali is like the main event but I guess like pit stops are one

[00:17:08] thing which at least adds some amount of fun in the race in Monaco generally like we saw last

[00:17:14] what last to last year I think when like multiple multiple ones we have always seen

[00:17:18] some chaos happening there uh but the very fact that there was a red flag and then they

[00:17:23] were able to change their tires I feel that I don't agree with this rule of being able to

[00:17:28] fix your car when you're in red yeah red flag yeah man that doesn't make sense and even if

[00:17:34] that is fine but if they change their tires that should not satisfy the condition of

[00:17:40] you know having to use two different yeah yeah it doesn't make sense and because of that nobody

[00:17:44] had to pit at all yeah there were a few but sure right just for the sake of but yeah

[00:17:49] they didn't need to yeah they didn't need to that's why yeah they didn't need to

[00:17:53] Hamilton had a free pit stop because Sunuda was one f***ing lap behind him yeah yeah

[00:17:58] even Max had a little gap so that's why yeah yeah yeah the qualifying is actually the star of this

[00:18:03] weekend man I mean beautiful qualifying to be honest um Max was also surprised on how they

[00:18:10] were p5 because he wasn't even expecting to be in that notch up there uh seven or six drivers

[00:18:17] I remember in that one second gap beautiful Perez being Perez Sargent beat Perez uh my friend was

[00:18:25] telling me right so he was saying um Sargent is between Alonso and Perez after qualifying

[00:18:35] which we don't know if it's bad for the other two or good for Sargent and he's yet p17

[00:18:41] oh but you know what something like I just realized this like while we were talking

[00:18:49] just because K-MAC like ruined Perez's race Perez got a free pass this race like he somehow

[00:18:56] got the sympathy and uh nobody is like talking about him but he got eliminated in Q1 Q1 yeah

[00:19:04] what the hell is going on yeah and his reaction was this is insane

[00:19:12] you tell me brother

[00:19:16] that's what his engineer learned to plant some agave make some tequila join a band

[00:19:24] go home dude politics is always there and you know like one of the best comments that I saw

[00:19:28] was totally K-MAC's fault but why the heck was the red bull uh fighting with the

[00:19:33] house in the first place anyways man what else two things maybe right like one is this

[00:19:44] brilliant new cameraman who's just decided to show girlfriends of drivers why what was happening

[00:19:52] what was that I heard camera angles and camera zoom yeah it was so odd like that especially

[00:19:59] the last uh like after he won the race and the podium celebrations were going on there was

[00:20:04] this weird zoom out from leclers girlfriend's hand and it was so weird like what what sense

[00:20:10] did that make like it almost felt like he was like caught in the act and then he had

[00:20:20] oh dude yeah seriously that could be it but to end it up and wrap it up on the on a

[00:20:25] wholesome note the daughters of the drivers I felt like were a bit more wholesome yesterday

[00:20:30] there was this this clip of p holding on to max and sort of like clinging on to one leg

[00:20:35] and not letting him go before the race literally grounding him yeah like it you're not gonna win

[00:20:43] anyways today dad yeah chill chill so party um K-MAC's daughter was spotted talking to a fan

[00:20:51] and then they walked ahead and then she was pulling him by his uh by his shirt and jacket

[00:20:57] go sign that one and yeah that was awesome and obviously nothing tops on circling back

[00:21:02] to the most wholesome thing of the monogasc winning at home so yeah yeah all in all yeah man

[00:21:08] and I think especially with like his father passing away a few years ago and the whole story

[00:21:14] about him kind of giving a white lie to his dad just before he passed away that he got signed

[00:21:18] with parari when he actually wasn't at that time but of course like yeah you know what

[00:21:22] happened after that but uh yeah pretty pretty cool that he was able to win the race yeah that

[00:21:28] whole that whole end commentary from him exiting to that from the tunnel to the checkered flag

[00:21:34] or like how you know luckly arcs history and this the same thing that you just mentioned

[00:21:40] what a beautiful beautiful piece of commentary there um yeah I feel like they finally got

[00:21:48] excited with that win because other than that the only excitement point where the commentators

[00:21:55] were you know really invested was when I think one of the drivers said that they were having

[00:22:02] tire degradation and the commentator like literally something is happening something is

[00:22:08] happening tire degradation two exciting points right one the tire degradation and obviously when

[00:22:15] luckly arc won so
