[00:01:15] [SPEAKER_02]: some fun and boy at least for us this was a good race after a long time. Absolutely.
[00:01:23] [SPEAKER_02]: So let's get into the race, start actually in the end of the race, Sarang, what do you have to say?
[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_04]: I think after a long time we had a very exciting race start like there's so much that happened and
[00:01:33] [SPEAKER_04]: I think there's so much to talk about. Of course yet again another race and another record
[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_04]: maintaining the race. But no he improved it. Now it's just changed it on three.
[00:01:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah yeah yeah so progressively it's going to go down at least in lead to one lap after
[00:01:52] [SPEAKER_02]: starting at boy. That's that's assuming the others the other cars don't catch up to McLaren.
[00:01:58] [SPEAKER_02]: And they're advancements. Oh man but that that overtake from Piestry on whatever that was
[00:02:05] [SPEAKER_02]: done. Peltin for WOP-T. Beauty sure yes, Kudos to Piestry but it almost spun landow out like
[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_02]: all the way. But even if that we have been a spun I don't know. Yeah you know what honestly that
[00:02:21] [SPEAKER_04]: made me feel like max wives kind of a thing completely. Yeah it was just like you know this is
[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Mike or Naran I'm going to take it and that too on a steeper it was a bit rough man. Like yeah and
[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_02]: I think that's where the whole race was lost. Like the championship was lost three races back
[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_02]: when they didn't let landow in and this race was lost at that turn three overtake by Piestry.
[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I actually would have assumed that you know they would have spoken in in the debrief after
[00:02:56] [SPEAKER_02]: the championship lost race that hey we gotta do what we gotta do to get like landow maybe up there.
[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_02]: But I guess like at at the core maybe McLaren is just looking for that. I mean from a team
[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_02]: point of view again like we've spoken about this time and again from a team point of view
[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_02]: all they probably care about is the constructs of championship and yeah if landow wins the
[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_04]: championship then wow they gotta kiss you know let's put up in that let's let's talk about
[00:03:22] [SPEAKER_04]: the restart first we'll get back to the end. Yeah I have a lot to say about that. What was coming
[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_02]: coming back to the race right like talking talking Piestry not just that he he overtook the way
[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_02]: he overtook landow on that turn three but that squeeze into getting up in front of the
[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Russell clip is frontwing then or was it like later at a ballad? I'm not entirely sure that's
[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_04]: what I was trying to look even at the clips to see like what exactly happened I guess it could be
[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_04]: then but then there wasn't really contact between them maybe here hit one of the bullets
[00:04:04] [SPEAKER_02]: but it didn't seem that way they're almost too gross allowed yet to take the lock where round
[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_04]: touched grass and all and once he got back like when's once Russell got back on the
[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_02]: he lost like two or three positions in a go all right he did he basically let the Ferrari's go ahead
[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_02]: and caught up with his teammate but caught up behind at p7 and the teammates are all in catching
[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_02]: up in front ah we cannot cannot move away from race start without talking about Kevin Magnuson
[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_04]: the guys of Renden's they're not in the race start yeah who who were
[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_02]: record about a five second for the aggression there right yeah he squeezed came on but the
[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_04]: race start yes R cardus squeeze them and got a five second penalty but you know the worst part is
[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_04]: he got a full up 10 second penalty as well yeah because his mechanic touched his frontwing
[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_02]: which is just oh my god but tell me this like if he touches the frontwing I mean he did
[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_02]: sorry about like it was it was maybe he didn't really like not right but can't you just like say
[00:05:13] [SPEAKER_04]: he started the clock again like that's what I thought as well I I I think the rules
[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_04]: other but weird that we right I think it doesn't make sense just because they accidentally touched
[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_02]: it like absolutely doesn't count there should be a veto in the with like goes to 20 folks there
[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_02]: oh you know what we've touched restarted right yeah this restart the clock means that's fine
[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_02]: he would have spent what 20 five seconds in in the in the pit lane you'd have been 27 if
[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_02]: they would have restarted yeah do poor guy he had to spend extra five seconds anyway because this guy
[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_02]: touched yeah at that point like if he had touched they should have just gone for it and be like you know whatever
[00:05:55] [SPEAKER_04]: then let's regular pit stop might as well rate yeah what doesn't make sense my other thing is like
[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_02]: remember what sort of five second the five second penalty did he receive but my thing is
[00:06:08] [SPEAKER_02]: sure this time around the mechanic touched it but what if like you know they say we're going to
[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_02]: pit again and then we're going to try the five second at that time because the race is not over yet
[00:06:19] [SPEAKER_02]: you've given me a five second penalty to sort of like serve it when I said that's true unless obviously
[00:06:23] [SPEAKER_02]: again we are dumb folks who don't know what the regulation is that page but unless if it's in
[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_02]: regulations like you got to do it when you got to do it when we say you got to do right like I'm like
[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_02]: also at the end of the race like I did to my time feed or whatever right now I think the rules say that
[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_04]: you have to serve it at the first given opportunity which basically means whenever you pit first
[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_02]: okay so yeah I'm dead to the board it's there you have there's a clarification
[00:06:53] [SPEAKER_04]: yes still feels very stupid to me that you know like you so give them a whole 10 second penalty again
[00:07:00] [SPEAKER_02]: for that anyways yeah now that we've sort of like moved past the race start we got a call out special
[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_02]: fortune telling skills by sarang yes because he's called this out like they've used they they they have two
[00:07:18] [SPEAKER_02]: one was used pre-mits season at Monaco and the other ones now used at their home race by Farari
[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_02]: at Monaco so now they're out of luck any exactly happens past this is pure magic and Godjwil
[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_04]: exactly I'm like 99% sure that they build the car only for these two tracks and that's about it
[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_02]: that's and even paid like Zach or whatever please one quick talk please extra
[00:07:53] [SPEAKER_02]: oh man after 2019 finally yeah you know here's a thing I mean sure
[00:08:01] [SPEAKER_02]: sure luckily Ark is a good driver but again I personally don't see him as a world champion fighting
[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_02]: driver because I don't see that aggression and whatnot but he pulls off stunts like this where
[00:08:15] [SPEAKER_02]: he wins at Monaco in 2019 and comes back in vinsida again after five years and so like shots
[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_02]: the audience like you know hey I still got it and then obviously wins it with the fans by making
[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_02]: a grand speech in Italy Italian so well and all it's like you know what we've been here to stay
[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_04]: right yeah there's a thing like there are these like rare drilling drives by him like this one of
[00:08:41] [SPEAKER_04]: course yeah first of all this one stop strategy everybody said won't work you know all the time
[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_04]: the commentator sort of thing what is a good chance at the woods the end we might see him just
[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_04]: not even able to finish the race media something like that and then nothing happened like
[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Oscar wasn't able to close that gap at all he was like sliding smoothly like like a
[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_04]: cat one point I think even said like you know just leave it to me don't tell the same thing again and again
[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_02]: so before the race right like we saw a kimi was there and the original kimi not the other kimi
[00:09:18] [SPEAKER_02]: the original kimi was there been not over there and I was like wow this is sort of something might
[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_02]: happen and yeah you got like if you know you know you got the same moment from from Charles like
[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_02]: don't tell me if I'm not doing something yeah so that reminds me did you see this there's
[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_04]: this photo that Robin right in his son he sat in Hamilton's God that was pretty cool yeah
[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_04]: and then there was this post that I read that in the same same session a kimi sat in one
[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_04]: Mercedes car like a kimi and I recognize that yeah but yeah I mean back to Ferrari yeah
[00:10:09] [SPEAKER_02]: another weekend again like we've spent the entire 2020 3 not talking about them and then this is
[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_02]: like the third race where like strategy on point no mistakes everyone's doing good everyone sort of like
[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_02]: on point everything's on point obviously some some luck shower from McLaren
[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_04]: pulling that under the right stop yeah yeah but still I think let's look did a
[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_04]: exceptional job because science was visible to pull it off like he was what p4 and he was like
[00:10:44] [SPEAKER_04]: good 15 seconds behind land so he was way far behind clearly he was struggling with the tyre through
[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_04]: but yeah man amazing like look I mean I don't think he made any mistakes did he I don't
[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't recall anything from him no notice I'm also taking advantage right like that first
[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_02]: lap stand where P.A.S.D sort of pull that move on Norris blackler was right there to use right
[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_02]: there exactly to pounce yeah that that is where he wanted like that is the
[00:11:18] [SPEAKER_02]: that's why I was seeing this entire clip of post race interview between Rossberg and I
[00:11:26] [SPEAKER_02]: forget who Rossberg had with himself but like Rossberg and Zach Brown and Rossberg called out the
[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_02]: same thing like didn't you have any debriefs don't you like have actually haven't you had like
[00:11:38] [SPEAKER_02]: conversation within the team and let's also sort of like transition to what we heard
[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_02]: higher rules and it came onto the right like wow this is such a cool thing we bought this race you
[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_02]: know what papayar who's yay dude that was the single was congestion right and then cloning out
[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_02]: so so Rossberg tells Zach like what are these papayar rules like don't you tell your drivers like
[00:12:08] [SPEAKER_02]: you know not to do what it just did and you basically just handed off the the wind to
[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Rary because that's the two to three seconds that the delta you lost yeah yeah basically papayar
[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_02]: rules just means like 5-13 met cleanly don't don't make it
[00:12:30] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah dude I was so confused I thought that either they really like papayas and like yeah papayar who is
[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_04]: and but it's so weird it's just I don't understand like what is going on with their strategy
[00:12:50] [SPEAKER_04]: and you know in there like debriefs I don't understand it's so weird that okay I understand you know
[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_04]: everything that happened in your Hungarian GP and you know they said things like you don't
[00:13:03] [SPEAKER_04]: win a championship without Oscar and blah blah blah and all that and I feel that wasn't this race
[00:13:09] [SPEAKER_04]: the perfect time to like repasad that kind of a thing exactly like I'm not even saying for p1 okay
[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_04]: like sure like maybe they even probably decided that I know like maybe they even decided
[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_04]: that let whoever goes first you know it keep the lead but then attacking your teammate and turn
[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_04]: three and then making whom lose position it doesn't make sense like at least gain some you know
[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_04]: distance between p3 and u2 being ahead and then try to fight it out but it's just weird man
[00:13:43] [SPEAKER_04]: and even later on like when they knew that p1 is out of their reach why didn't this switch them both
[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_04]: like it is in consequential like who cares about a p2 anyways right so made sense that land
[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_02]: against the p2 yeah yeah honestly and I think like maybe lando had the pace I mean again like
[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_02]: now at this point it's all good to shoot but like maybe lando had the pace and
[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_02]: if for that first lap incidents maybe he would have just like taken off and like you know
[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_02]: one it but I never saw him come back super close to get it like sure he over to click
[00:14:22] [SPEAKER_02]: like like p1 p2 but p3 in that clean air was was just you know a beast like lando never
[00:14:32] [SPEAKER_02]: essentially caught up to him too and and I don't know again like if this is if this is pure
[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_02]: racing you know dynamics that the dirty air and and tracks like these it's it's it's difficult to
[00:14:45] [SPEAKER_02]: you know put that that final delta in or lando just gets two unsettled ones he's at that position
[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_02]: and he's never able to catch up that's actually a very good point and yeah either way I mean
[00:15:00] [SPEAKER_02]: on surface it looks like the team camaraderie still there because with the win
[00:15:06] [SPEAKER_02]: conversations lando was like you know yeah he did it all his things so cool as to him and whatnot
[00:15:13] [SPEAKER_02]: but yeah no champagne celebrations yeah no discussions in the room so yet again another reason
[00:15:21] [SPEAKER_04]: mood drivers at the satisfy it's so weird what's going on in that place like they literally
[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_04]: have the fastest car and both the drivers are on satisfaction yeah and I attribute this to
[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_02]: the management I mean sure I add up add up particular level it comes down to the driver
[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_02]: because you never saw this because Max was like the selfish narcissism exuberating out of him right
[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I am me and it's me shut up yeah and then obviously you got a flavor of that like the whole
[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_02]: red wool brigade is is a whole card off pretty nice speed right but you don't see that with like
[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_02]: a Norris or a Zack or a Leclerc right so that's I mean I mean then I feel like that's the delta
[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_02]: you see as a result as well yeah that's right not right maybe even I mean I am pissed
[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_04]: with the way the car is behaving yeah it's just like confusing to everybody and I think pretty much
[00:16:25] [SPEAKER_04]: most of the you know like pundits and media have been talking about this evening that's just
[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_04]: confusing what's going on like it's so confusing why can't they decide anything I think will
[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_04]: extend like this is one of the rare times when I felt like I'm agreeing with them because
[00:16:43] [SPEAKER_04]: all the bullshit that is too easy really right he he summed it up so correctly I think in like
[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_04]: the post race like whatever that was and he said the same thing kind of like you know it's so weird
[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_04]: the difference which two and three later on like it doesn't make sense and also he speculated that
[00:17:05] [SPEAKER_04]: maybe it's possible that like Zack's or you know the management hands at tight because the
[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_04]: way the contracts are written and maybe there is some clause in PS3's contract which kind of states

[00:17:23] [SPEAKER_04]: differentiate between one and two like that maybe one of the reasons why it's so weird like this is

[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_02]: to predict and those win probability and at this point it stands at 17.2 percent

[00:19:31] [SPEAKER_04]: left yeah man that's pretty weird like I think I mean I of course don't exactly understand
[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_04]: what leads to that but maybe it's probably that it is the turning right hand like since most
[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_04]: of the turns are right handers and like since you would want to carry more speed through them you
[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_04]: might be worse during through them and does the weight pushing outside something like that yeah
[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah you're guys trying to throw you out the outer tire probably takes a bigger force of friction
[00:20:02] [SPEAKER_02]: in words but yeah I don't know why front more than the left or the rear's I think then that
[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_04]: also would probably be related to brick balance like how much brick they're configured forward and

[00:20:43] [SPEAKER_02]: sub will reply but yeah we're gonna toss it out and hopefully and hopefully we'll have some

[00:21:52] [SPEAKER_04]: you know a cast performance cannot drop this significantly you know when you're like
[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_04]: gapping the rest of the field by 20 30 seconds and like the first half of the season
[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_02]: and then all of a sudden you're like where it's my theory here is that the reduced
[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_02]: wind tunnel time that the god is now showing length as they probably had everything they had to
[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_02]: like test their car and it used up things which we saw a result of like second half of last year
[00:22:24] [SPEAKER_02]: and the first half of this year they're out of nine they're out of their errodynamicist
[00:22:32] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah so you get the reality right so I mean that's not my idea yeah the earlier it didn't
[00:22:38] [SPEAKER_04]: matter to them because like as we have said already newy probably sees errodynamics but he didn't need
[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_02]: his eyes are CFD scanners and CFD flow so that's why they didn't need those but now that he's gone
[00:22:57] [SPEAKER_04]: they're like oh shit we don't have a wind tunnel or rather we don't have wind tunnel time
[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_02]: because I mean in reality they only have one driver right like the other guy is just a
[00:23:09] [SPEAKER_04]: wheel on a Sunday right yeah and this race I thought that maybe you know it's possible that
[00:23:18] [SPEAKER_04]: this race he might finish somewhere very close to max because he qualified very close to max
[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_04]: and I thought in fact at one point he was ahead of max for most of the qualification
[00:23:30] [SPEAKER_04]: but nothing like later just he just disappeared into the net
[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_02]: and not just that I don't know who was he racing I forget at this point Russell may be Russell
[00:23:43] [SPEAKER_02]: he over to Russell and then Russell tried to get the position back and he comes onto the radio saying

[00:23:54] [SPEAKER_02]: onto the thing and says like obviously because the hint is in the name it's called Grand Prix racing
[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_04]: what is what is expected yeah that is too funny but you know in in Paris is defense when
[00:24:09] [SPEAKER_04]: that who happened I I was saying the same thing that Rayman come on you need to yeah he didn't
