[00:00:45] But what's interesting is we're also gonna get like an autumn break this time in a few races time.
[00:00:50] Oh yeah. That's surprising actually.
[00:00:52] Right? And then I mean, it's a break for us, but I think like it's just no race
[00:00:58] so the teams are gonna be busy with whatever they do, it doesn't matter.

[00:01:09] RBR is losing ground and I don't know how much they can come back. What do you think?

[00:01:19] It's... I have certain theories and I'm sure like people have been
[00:01:24] speculating a lot of things over the summer break.
[00:01:27] Our friend Creeks Carbureau as well has put in a post about it. I don't know if you saw that,
[00:01:32] but whole thing about FIA changing their rules in terms of passive like adaptive,
[00:01:38] you know, brake pressure and what is it?
[00:01:42] In break? Oh do you not know about it?

[00:01:44] Let's talk about it. It's quite interesting actually.
[00:01:46] So it turns out that FIA in their rules always had that you can't have like active,
[00:01:52] differential braking like between your left and right tires.
[00:01:56] But like the loophole was that it can't be active, but that means it can be passive.
[00:02:01] So it is theorized that Red Bull was using like a spring mass and in a T-Volve which like
[00:02:11] distributes the brake pressure, the hydraulic brake pressure to both the tires
[00:02:14] rather the wheels and using it as a spring mass when you turn, it will like you know because of
[00:02:23] the G forces it will be pushed out. So you know the inner tire will get more brake pressure and
[00:02:28] the outer tire will receive lesser. So that way they can help the car turn in and that's what
[00:02:34] it is theorized that they were doing and like after FIA changed that maybe you know something
[00:02:39] backroom deals, same thing what Ferrari as well you know and what 2018.
[00:02:46] So it's speculated that that's what happened and you know that's why they
[00:02:50] filled in the loophole and Red Bull has suddenly lost performance.
[00:02:54] Interesting. That's an interesting one. Maybe Horner's it's that meme right?
[00:02:59] Like maybe Horner's now looking into the mirror and saying change your fucking car.
[00:03:06] Yeah, FIA made him change it now he has to change it back.
[00:03:11] That and then the other thing the other thing too is there's this interview with Natalie Portman

[00:04:07] Yeah that's what I thought as well but I guess science wouldn't also be too keen on it maybe I
[00:04:11] don't know. That's the thing that I'm now thinking about right like was it Horner not wanting
[00:04:19] science or what is it science not wanting to go to RBR? I don't know I think there are
[00:04:25] a lot of factors I think there have been rumors first of all the I think science hadn't left on
[00:04:30] good terms when he left. I think there was some drama with that old guy Elmint Marco.
[00:04:37] A zombie that lives. Yeah exactly and I think so like overall he's not too popular in the
[00:04:44] Red Bull camp because of that and I think also it would be related to they must be offering
[00:04:49] him maybe for a year and he wanted more long term. Anyways but yeah I mean between science and
[00:04:54] Perez you any day go for science and not Perez. Yeah the championship battle for at least the
[00:05:01] constructors getting pretty tight with like McLaren getting closer and closer by the day
[00:05:07] it's so beautiful I mean the only thing that I really laughed at were two things I saw Lando
[00:05:17] obviously struggling to get in front of Max but when he did boy he was 22 seconds ahead of him.
[00:05:23] Yeah right and then I did not expect that at all right. The table's turning completely right
[00:05:30] and then the other thing is last lap I mean second but last lap Hamilton's putting in the
[00:05:36] fastest lap and then the radio commentary comes on saying Lando is making purple in sector one
[00:05:44] he's still going fast and then I and then I see like he's gotten the fastest lap and I'm waiting
[00:05:49] for others to cross the line because obviously someone else is going to take over because they
[00:05:53] got like 40 laps old tires. Exactly nobody's able to take it and I'm like wow and that's when
[00:05:59] I really laughed I'm like what is this happening? Exactly and that too like Hamilton was on
[00:06:07] fresh or softs and I had completely expected that he would you know put in another fastest lap
[00:06:12] right after that but yeah well it turns out I've heard that apparently Lando was first of all he
[00:06:20] went for it without like team you know telling him anything he was charging his batteries from
[00:06:27] like lap 66. Wow. He put his engine word like into complete recharge so that he can go for it.
[00:06:36] Yeah exactly.
[00:06:39] Wow yeah man yeah man you have that advantage why not take it L but speaking of the 22
[00:06:46] second gap or whatever right like this isn't the first time we've seen Max complaining
[00:06:52] about the car something's definitely wrong apparently his car wasn't turning at all I
[00:06:57] don't know what it's all about but yeah no clue. Yeah I saw those videos floating around
[00:07:03] like he's his steering is like full lock you know and like his tires are barely turned. Yeah
[00:07:09] that's steer by wire yeah I don't know man I think like as soon as Adrian knew he signed with Aston
[00:07:15] Martin I I don't know did he just like take things away like Red Bulls just lost or what?
[00:07:26] It seems like maybe he had he had all the documentation and he just like fucked off with it so
[00:07:33] everybody just crammed like that. So this is the accelerator or wait is this the brake? Wait what
[00:07:40] does this do so yeah I don't know and I don't know I mean there isn't any news on who's gonna
[00:07:46] replace Adrian at RBR but yeah maybe it's time for Max to leave as well like where is his team
[00:07:55] going honestly like they don't have like just a few months ago they were like the top dogs
[00:08:01] suddenly something happened already in fighting and I don't know yeah. And then Adrian knew he was
[00:08:07] going to Aston Martin and then there's this other clip of after I don't know after the race or
[00:08:13] after the quali inspector Nando was checking out McLaren's rear and not just like just you
[00:08:20] know seeing but like he actually sat down lean there's a whole good 20 seconds of doing that
[00:08:26] I'm like dude don't worry go chill just drive. No maybe maybe Newie gave him like a side quest
[00:08:36] like go and you know like look at all the car parts and put back. You don't finish ahead let
[00:08:43] anyone who wants to overtake you and that's what he was doing during the race as well right
[00:08:46] like people were overtaking him right left he's like Lando see there are 10 races left

[00:08:58] their their settings on their on their steering you know whatever you can see in terms of like
[00:09:04] the side of the car and because you finish later stop at every car to see how they're

[00:09:57] races with like max not p2 but like really doing those three four five that reminds me of it's always
[00:10:04] sunny and little fear you know Charlie in front of the charts and you know
[00:10:12] yeah yeah yeah the theory is by which Lando can win yeah I don't know I I I think he's not got it
[00:10:21] but he thinks he's got it yeah sure enjoy the win with simply love but man first grand slam though
[00:10:28] like credit where credit stew pool fastest lap win finally yeah finally and and that
[00:10:37] were dominant win yeah that's true but still a losing streak of that lap one turn one star
[00:10:46] yes that's true that's true which is what is this eighth eighth time now yeah end time at this point
[00:10:53] I forget but here's my thing anyone listening technically if you can help us understand please
[00:10:59] do because I've been trying to find this on f1 technical another places to it so the reason he
[00:11:05] says the first one the reaction time between Lando and max was was the same if not almost the same
[00:11:12] but Lando says he had way more wheel spin at that start and he was just basically burning rubber
[00:11:20] while while max had grip and he was able to get away why why why was this the case
[00:11:27] my only thing that this dumb mind can understand is just the few extra seconds that Lando had to
[00:11:33] wait more than max while the grid was forming before the start and that's sort of just cooled
[00:11:41] the tires a bit more down for the grip to have gone away that's the only thing I could think of
[00:11:47] but yeah anyone listening dm to us tag us anywhere we'd love to know what's happening you know one
[00:11:53] of the reasons could be is that right after the turn one yeah when the leaderboard like
[00:11:58] was showing the places gained and lost yeah every alternate person gained a position yeah
[00:12:03] so basically everybody off the racing line that was having better conditions it seems like
[00:12:09] that's that's a very good point you make and that's one of the comments I read on on on read it as
[00:12:14] well I forget I mean if I find it I'll attack the source but yes you are right everyone on the
[00:12:20] right hand side was able to get a better grip and start versus on the left hand side and
[00:12:24] one of the reasons that someone made was because of the rubber that was left off because that's the
[00:12:30] racing line with some of the dew and the rain that would have fallen over between like the sessions
[00:12:37] which would have sort of made that line a bit less grippy than the right hand side I see I see
[00:12:44] yeah I mean I don't know all of this is just theory at this point but yeah but it was like
[00:12:48] almost consistent throughout the grid like it was so weird to see that like each each person on the
[00:12:54] right like over to the left yeah yeah and Perez unfortunately was on the left and I'm like dude
[00:13:02] this guy over taken again of course of course like wow whether confusion was on the point was
[00:13:10] why was Piastri not able to overtake at all he came out saying I take full responsibility
[00:13:17] of it and I'm like dude yeah at this point of the car is right I can't take responsibility for it so
[00:13:23] you will have to yeah it's weird yeah man that's it's okay though I feel like uh he overall he's
[00:13:31] been doing pretty good in this season and I think yeah it's maybe you can just count it off as
[00:13:37] like one of the off races is it any yard maybe yeah I don't know but who knows like yeah whatever
[00:13:45] but then you know it's like you you always will have a second driver who is somewhat like that and I
[00:13:51] think considering how little experience he has I think he's overall been doing pretty well so yeah
[00:13:58] I think if they had anybody more competitive of course they would have more issues with like
[00:14:03] Lando and him as we saw in the infamous what was that last last race Belgian GP was it oh by
[00:14:13] the way that yeah that's where Lando lost the championship but yeah yeah exactly yeah and now
[00:14:18] now they're making all these theories he needs to win everything sprint races the normal races when
[00:14:24] all oh man yeah man McLaren has jumped up so much like so yeah I saw a comparison between
[00:14:33] like the difference between max and Lando yeah at the end of last year at after summer break
[00:14:39] yeah and this year and it's like last year there was he was like minus 48 seconds behind max and this
[00:14:45] this year he was like 20 seconds ahead of max yeah I know it's definitely been interesting and
[00:14:52] I don't I mean I look at Zach Brown and I don't see him as that cutthroat guy who could win
[00:14:58] the way they are winning right now but yeah what's interesting and this is a good segue into it
[00:15:03] is the school down room video of Charles asking max how many seconds did he finish behind him and
[00:15:13] max says 20 22 and and if you've seen lie to me anybody who's seen lie to me you see these
[00:15:20] micro expressions but but on Charles's face you see this huge expression did mega the mega
[00:15:27] expression that's impossible to miss oh I just caught up to you guys there's this new guy who's
[00:15:35] just taken 22 seconds ahead I give up you know at this point he is in a very awesome state of
[00:15:44] mind that's what it feels to me like he's completely given up on anything yeah all he's happy
[00:15:50] with is I got a podium I'm happy that's yeah but still very weirdly and a good strategy like out of
[00:15:58] desire and yes man both the drivers gained positions like luck went from six to third I think right and
[00:16:06] signs from what tenth to fifth oh yeah yeah this is this like peak Ferrari I mean yesterday
[00:16:13] if you are a Ferrari fan or if you've ever been a Ferrari fan I'm sure yesterday was orgasmic for
[00:16:19] you because strategy on point execution on point no fuck ups anywhere no I'm stupid right
[00:16:28] because they did that undercut and they were like like there was the first one to come into the pits
[00:16:32] and I was like oh damn they're doing this it's gone and then they get into the pits a good
[00:16:37] pit stop I'm like okay this is a good pit stop please don't fuck it up anywhere else now you've
[00:16:42] got because because you started seeing Russell getting paranoid they started pitting him sooner
[00:16:47] than they should have and all of that I'm like okay you're in a good spot please just be but yeah
[00:16:54] it was good to see whatever ps3 had a bad day or Charles had a better day yeah at least that podium
[00:17:00] stuck so yeah good you know what like this makes me worry a little though I feel that they have
[00:17:06] used up all their skill and luck in this race and they'll have nothing left from onza
[00:17:11] yeah done right they used all of it up for Monaco in in first part of the season and now they are
[00:17:18] done with second part of the season first race itself yeah they're done maybe we'll find out
[00:17:25] we'll find out or maybe they have a car built just from Monaco as well sorry for Monza you know
[00:17:30] who knows maybe maybe but speaking of Ferrari I want to talk about the b team dude that alien
[00:17:38] vomit team has just gone to shit at one point I was like sergeants p15 wait who exactly whose
[00:17:45] then who's p18 19 20 and I'm like green cars I'm like what is happening because it's because it
[00:17:53] wasn't so here's the thing the poly was good though for them yes weird like right and that's
[00:17:59] where my that's where my voice gets this shrill but I'm like the start wasn't bad at one point
[00:18:04] I saw boat as an indicator of fighting somewhere at p14 p15 ish I don't know man lap 60 I turn my eyes

[00:18:24] Audi or whatever but what's the list I don't know just in shambles like take the summer break

[00:21:48] yeah and actually it created a little dangerous situation where albonne had to like suddenly break
[00:21:53] a lot because of that and then he called that out as well so yeah whatever but he lost his positions

[00:22:33] from the clarin so that he can make a good res you made to go back to red bull to fight max

[00:24:57] my god that was the ugliest trophy I've ever seen they couldn't afford a scrapbook scrapbook or
[00:25:03] whatever that is so just had everyone write it on the trophy I did some toddler right it like

[00:25:16] his art style yeah how can you how can you call that art man that's like my kid who's 18 months

[00:25:40] Russell lost three I have no idea dude like I think that that pit stop thing messed up with him a bit

[00:25:59] positions I mean first of all he did so poorly in qualifying what he got out in Q2 right like P11
[00:26:06] he started I think yeah and but he also got some penalty for impeding someone I think Ricardo
[00:26:12] oh right he started yeah he started with a penalty I see I see okay makes sense yeah but
[00:26:20] most of these I think that somehow it seems like they're almost as fast as Red Bull a little lesser
[00:26:26] around there I don't know at least than Paris for sure yeah yeah I don't know I mean I think like
[00:26:35] the game started guarding interesting with like pit stops everywhere because that's where
[00:26:40] it started feeling strategies were being played not really any good overtakes throughout the
[00:26:47] race overall I think it was it was a bit boring but the made stop made that yeah really
[00:26:54] um and then as it's the sixth race without a safety car so nobody is getting injured no
[00:27:01] money's burning Arjun does not doing his job dude like he should have done during the race exactly
[00:27:08] who I mean somebody needs to tell him dude he burns someone else's car with his car so
[00:27:13] every every race is a new challenge right like he's unlocking he's on a mission he's on a quest
[00:27:20] it's those dude the game achievements you have right like that's what he's trying to get exactly
[00:27:25] burn a car done yeah burn two cars burn two cars burn second car with your car
[00:27:35] but it's the first game where you get two notifications at the same time you get achievement
[00:27:40] unlocked and wasted at the same time I don't know man I mean Dutch GP they say it's a good track and
[00:27:50] good racing and good weekend and blah blah blah but I think like a sec last last year I know it rained
[00:27:57] so it got interesting but unless like something like that happens it's a good track to drive on
[00:28:03] maybe with all the backing and all the turns and you know the camera angles man we have to talk
[00:28:08] about those they were so good it's like GoPro on the tail wing with like the level horizon on yeah
[00:28:15] and you can see those cars go but like you're still on horizon locked some some amazing views
[00:28:22] yeah the good part about it is maybe from the driving point of view where you know you can
[00:28:26] take multiple lines on this track is not just one racing line which we saw Alonzo do like
[00:28:32] even on turn three on that super bank he he quite a lot of times went on the inside
[00:28:37] rather than the outside steeper bank a good track in that sense but I don't know I mean
[00:28:42] the the weekends here haven't been that that fun or promising yeah it's just like the
[00:28:48] created places that's all like the dominance continues one person or the other that's that's
[00:28:52] pretty much what we're seeing yeah like so yeah not the interesting for me was the pit stop and
[00:28:59] the the mid-pack to the lower pack that actually did some racing let's see any who does next right
[00:29:06] yeah monza's next temple of speed yeah temple of speed again I don't know not many overtakes
[00:29:12] because there aren't many turns just three shekains and two loops I love the track
[00:29:19] because because you know aero starts playing such a big role you have those g forces going
[00:29:25] into those turns the the u banks and all yeah it's gonna be a good weekend we might see something
[00:29:31] spicy though because like see imagine because landers of course going to mess up turn one yeah
[00:29:36] worst happen is gonna go for it you might see another mounting yeah yeah yeah max is on a different
[00:29:43] quest he wants to mount every car you heard it here first as everything you have and we've
[00:29:52] proved time and again so yeah all right folks but yeah see you at monza hopefully we can get
[00:29:59] a guest for you yeah to be honest like both of us have been a bit zonked out this season
