[00:02:02] entertain people it feels like. Oh man, seriously, seriously and as like okay maybe someone else has definitely come out on Vets because the whole track is wet and I don't think someone's expecting

[00:02:14] it to dry up in four or five laps and I'm like sure but no they were the only ones that did come out on the Vets and as I saw the race in post, I mean as typing my notes as things are happening

[00:02:27] as like okay, Magnus and let me type 6 plays 5 places now. Wait 6 places. Wait, I mean, wait, you know what happened to me. Yeah exactly. He's in a right order seat right now and then

[00:02:37] say like eventually whatever places up God damn man he was eventually I think like eventually before P8 sort of thing 10 to 8 places up both Magnus and and Hulk, dude crazy, crazy,

[00:02:51] crazy scenes. I think eventually here's what I saw. He was he was two laps in and up all the way to P6. Yeah, it doesn't I think in the first lap itself he got like four positions or something

[00:03:07] of five positions and then after that he was like picking each one one out with the other and then everything got wiped out of at lap 10 because then he'd be oh god damn dude yeah I feel all I felt that man 8.6 second pit stop like completely undone.

[00:03:29] Exactly exactly. I mean I didn't expect that he might like you know Gake like keep a lot of those positions but before it he must have at least put in a P8 out of it

[00:03:42] straight out of it. But it'll be angry. That's done. Yeah. But well, like it's like at least the efforts saw them fighting almost for that point because it was it was like a handholding finish

[00:03:57] for the alpins and then the the has at P11 and P12. So almost made it to the points. Maybe I didn't it been for that 8.6. But then but then at the same time there were five people who are

[00:04:12] out of the recess well so actually let me say they almost needed because of big aspect there. Okay but that's how Danny record this point right? I said that also wouldn't have happened so

[00:07:52] I feel so gutted for. First of all he was doing some baby it shit on the grass I don't know what he was doing. Yeah he I think pressed the gas at the wrong time coming out of that turn left. We'll spin

[00:08:07] my feel threatened moment of the whole race was Alban overtaking Daniel Ricardo and Ocon. In a chicane. At last say to no contact what a beauty coming outside of Ricardo going in on

[00:08:28] that overtake going in to Ocon and then coming out. Wow like I was I'm I was while cutting him off as well like he's so fucoughly cut both of them on the corner it was just insane yeah masterclass.

[00:08:45] I paused and I said oh wow this is insane for me that I don't mean not in the hands. Oh shoot and then I was like this guy is that liever of the day for me like if we get forget

[00:09:00] whatever happened to it and yeah yeah and then this fucker bebly takes him out for no fault of this. Yeah man as soon as I saw that overtake I at that moment itself I knew that I'm watching

[00:09:19] history in the making the color gonna look at the overtake like years from now and say that wow what an overtake that was yeah yeah I'm pretty sure it like given Christian owner and like

[00:09:28] old man sitting at red bull like she doesn't let him go on because by then I think like by then Perez is a wing was gone right new contract play was already at

[00:09:41] exactly oh man but he album good stuff now that we've brought in Perez into play new contracts out out and Q1 of course broke the car of course but what's the shit about him being consciously

[00:10:01] being asked to bring the damaged car limpingly into the pits so that they don't I was safety car and lose the car as bad as it's yeah yeah and apparently the team like explicitly said that

[00:10:17] on the radio to have like we know like you know but still come to the pit just because we are so yeah man and how I think will will boxed in said something like you know just a few

[00:10:31] degrees of separation different from crash gate like it's just an opposite of yeah of the they wanted like a safety car and here they wanted to hold yeah I've totally agree with you I find it funny that Perez is rolling start which was a blatant rolling start

[00:11:26] finally things were called for him one weekend and his rolling start wasn't like yeah sure it was but got picked up by the sensors and sure he got a five second but good on him I mean good for

[00:11:43] him rather that safety car helped him out because he basically could have a free penalty car out of sight yeah wow man that Perez it's just confusing to me I don't understand what's going on

[00:14:33] tea bonded to you know totally but until then I think like some of those doing too good man I think they would have had both v-car went to the points an amazing can for them unfortunately that didn't

[00:14:45] work out and annual got a bit of it good weekend for him man like T5 quality finish a deep finish race he got to say eat shit on uh come on the meat happiness one race he does that

[00:15:04] I bet I bet my money's worth this dinner next no forget the dinner next weekend this is that no more how is it again for that either the rest of this yeah oh so not all

[00:15:20] got his contract renewal right yeah but apparently it's not like he didn't renew it the team renewed it it's like the team had an option of renewal uh after one year and so like he has to

[00:15:34] so they had the right of first refusal basically so if he tries to look outside he has to first ask them and if they are not willing to take him only then he can look outside so he is kind of

[00:15:45] basically the block him in for the next year and I feel it's weird because then I have a gate or get out of jail free card sort of thing no I mean I'm pretty sure there must be some clauses

[00:15:56] somewhere like like that we'll never know but that's what I feel is weird is that they have basically locked him in so he can't go to anywhere else so I think even with the rumors that

[00:16:07] I think astronaut is going to partner with Honda right 2022 and he's starting something like that oh interesting not that's what interesting there's some rumors going on about that so with those rumors I'm pretty sure Honda might want to bring him there if possible but then if these

[00:16:25] guys are locking him in here it's yeah it's weird I don't see a future for him in that will because they're not going to give that seat to him like the second seat at least with next two

[00:16:35] years of course wow man so Honda goes to Hastin maybe Adrian goes to Hastin interesting lucky yeah I do have nothing changes as long as they have stroll so there's no tension

[00:17:03] camera pans where newy is signing like a Ferrari flag or a t-shirt or something interesting oh okay so very similar to this I saw another video where Toto is on a cycle okay like that's

[00:17:21] scooty thingy and I'm meeting the signings of Ferrari capsus that one makes sense that one's fun but I mean the boy is so loud because even after the race what a contradiction right

[00:17:36] because even after the race Toto came on to Hamilton's radio and said well Hamilton at least the car performed well and Hamilton was silent like there was no time back and then in the

[00:17:50] media pain after the whole event Hamilton goes this is the worst race we can't have ever heard of it all right you know let's stop over most of you in general take yeah but so with your notes and like the

[00:18:05] hoodie knee act guess who's back but his back back again yeah I mean like the first first podium this year right like I think they're back finally after a very long time I think even last season they had

[00:18:18] a very terrible start same thing this time. First podium is it I thought like first pole to podium maybe was it I don't like the first podium this time as well to be honest like the previous race

[00:18:31] in the season have been annoying in this one's pretty man yeah I mean awesome though man like overall I think they have really improved a lot clearly for sure. I didn't expect George Russell

[00:18:45] to get the pole honestly like and that too it was pretty cool right I think this was after like 30 years or something we got to some 97 European GP or something that like the first place tied

[00:18:56] something in that yeah so apparently they tied to the like the thousand second but FI it does have the actual results which goes to like the tenths of the thousandth of a fraction wow but they don't disclose it because it's within the like margin of error so

[00:19:15] maybe just one fun they should tell them okay actually yeah but actually I wish I wish I think I saw this Todd guy talking about this in Ted's notebook I wonder if the data is probably somewhere out on reddit on Twitter as well

[00:19:37] yeah I'd love to see I'd love to see who actually was ahead but yeah Max crossed the checkered flag after Russell had to start P2 it was I mean he was beating himself after the race as well

[00:19:52] I think like he's not up for that pressure yet yeah yeah yeah he succumbed to it that's yeah and beyond some as well I think like the moment where I sort of like felt this was when

[00:20:08] he was chasing P.S.T towards the last 2015 laps and most people to get by and then Hamilton comes in and says you know what let me show you how it's done he overtaken

[00:20:20] right Russell yeah and then goes on to take P.S.T and then yes he has a come in and takes both of them sure that's fine but in that moment Hamilton was like you know

[00:20:30] what it means absolutely yeah but that part was super exciting to watch me like at that point I was like oh damn like Hamilton awesome like he would have both of them and then Russell comes back and you

[00:20:41] know like it's just yeah totally exactly this race was like something else I had to literally pause go back and watch again because I was like missing moments and like you know this is so much going on

[00:20:53] every year yeah just insane but that overtaken P.S.T that Russell did okay so many means I was I apparently heard that calling Osama bin Rasul of something because every overtaken that he does

[00:21:08] I'm not every but like whenever he's like up I head somewhere any overtaken that he does is pretty violent oh yeah and even that that's what we're getting where Russell's engineer when he was about to

[00:21:20] overtake Hamilton he said that you're racing but we can still keep it clean he's still kind of swore you know yeah I really thought they were crashing but yeah but I mean that's why I mean I don't

[00:21:33] think he I think like he cracks under pressure but maybe not I mean he's a world class driver for short but early that's what it looks like on camera so this race was so beautiful at so many

[00:21:45] points because for for a very long time there was this whole this there was this whole play of Russ and Max and and and Norris sort of like fighting for the P1 2 3 sort of like position

[00:22:00] and then once all of that sort of like somewhere settled and ended it cut to like the whole alons or Hamilton fight which never really went away they just switched to a different cam but Hamilton

[00:22:11] was always 0.5 seconds within of alonso and that that went for a long time so much so that even after the post race and during like the press conference Hamilton was like yeah I was

[00:22:23] up in the pack and everything is fine but a stuck behind a launch of a long time as one would expect like the new like he knew is of course I'm pretty sort of like get out of this yeah it was pretty

[00:22:37] pretty weird when you were stuck there for so long but then at the same time it's awesome that even after being stuck there for a while he was still able to you know get right right up there like

[00:22:48] he was almost p3 just lost it so like Kudos to him he had a pretty good drive actually yeah even though he says that it was like not a good weekend they feel it is one of his I would say

[00:22:59] like honestly this was an underrated drive of him like he qualified pretty low and still was like pretty fast later on so Kudos Kudos to him but oh by the way like a bit of a bit of tangent here did you

[00:23:13] see the hot ones episode with Hamilton no I have it oh no it's still nice yeah I mean for someone who sort of like looks up to Sam as an interviewer right sort of like really want to but yeah I haven't

[00:23:29] been able to Sean Sean sorry yeah but it's a good one the best part I like is that he really beat Sean dude like it was I did not expect that oh is it oh yeah yeah you know actually what happened

[00:24:18] had a weird day yeah yeah one race you have the safety car to your advantage yeah the somewhere put it on I mean but almost all the on the fence he could have stuck it was very

[00:24:32] tough as coming out of the pit lane was the wet patch um it was was obviously tough to get those tires into those those tracks but um uh and if you would have stuck it would have been

[00:24:45] very mazul yeah but not awesome awesome man it was just so good like you know the very fact that this race there was a three way fight for P1 with itself I cannot comprehend like why

[00:24:57] watching the race I was so you know so happy to watch that like the three people weighing for P1 yeah and it's like at one point a max was chasing a Russell and then he made a mistake like

[00:25:09] that I didn't know that was the only mistake he made there is like he lost control a little than he greganded but then uh Norris was right up on his ass right there was like these switched

[00:25:22] and it was awesome man and then even the fact that when Norris did get the lead he was almost like well or 13 seconds ahead yeah yeah right before before sergeant um uh sergeant did a sergeant

[00:25:38] yeah and so with that pace I was like probably you know even if he's P2 at some point he'll probably have the pace to sort of like get ahead but yeah never happens so

[00:25:50] but the clarino's a flopped the strategy as well I mean it's not just safety car I feel it was a mistake doing those extra laps on that interpret I had they should have was it

[00:25:59] he was gaining it on his because because they told him like you are coming into the pit go crazy and and he was gaining time on those two yes but then at the same time I think he had

[00:26:13] two extra laps I suppose yes but I think because of that it happened that like they both reached there at the exact time and then he had to go through the wet patch maybe one extra

[00:26:24] good ever yeah yeah they maybe could have done just one like just of course do the opposite of what you're up into doing but that one extra lap probably caused them sure no that position

[00:26:35] probably yeah would have should have could have but yeah yeah yeah but strategy was at play here man I loved that and you know it was a very different kind of strategy if he like

[00:26:48] it was not a standard tire strategy like everybody was doing in terms of course at the end everybody was going to be demirards that was there but the very fact that you know what I really

[00:27:00] loved about max in this race is and you know after the very long time I really felt that he really had to fight for this race like two win the race yes it was not his two win but he played

[00:27:11] the long game very well like he didn't panic while Russell was up ahead in the front like he wasn't trying to chase him down too much we did of course at one point but then he backed off

[00:27:22] as well yeah same with Norris as well he kept his cool like he was driving pretty well and like I think he managed to erase very like probably in one the race it was difficult

[00:27:34] yeah yeah I don't know if he actually avoided the curves towards the end because it did come onto the radio to say that you know he's having some some issue with the car and it's sort of

[00:27:46] like flattening out and he's got a little suspension as well yeah so he's got a sort of like avoid all the curves going ahead and I don't know if he did that if he did that then he's sort of

[00:27:56] like won with some some personal play as well but not just Norris right like even even the Astrid was sort of like a heads down and into the race yes he was fighting for that podium very

[00:28:11] well couldn't get it at one point when when it was Max Norris and P.A.S.D and they were close enough I think he was told do you think you can fight Max which I think was a question to see if

[00:28:26] they want to give the team orders which I don't think they would have but sort of like either testing the waters yeah and I don't like it if it was if it was in that fashion just a

[00:28:36] flag tell him that hey you're not up there so don't you know like right Norris by seeing like he's gonna see a car in his rearview mirror and be confused so either back off because I don't

[00:28:51] know what what was at play with that tone but I like I like the maturity from from P.A.S.D at that point because he was like I gotta keep the Russell behind a good focus on keeping Russell

[00:29:04] behind me though let me concentrate on that. So it sounded like you know what I don't know what's happening ahead of me let me just take care of this first eventually he lost it but yeah I do

[00:29:16] him I'm happy for how the whole game plan didn't work out with Alpine and his his his his profile there and his suit leave and he dodged a bullet like definitely so much like not just a

[00:29:31] bullet like a firing sport yeah it's been since I was just thinking okay like while watching the race when Norris came out in the track right the first but from here I was like and that to

[00:29:44] like Norris had that same experience like twice for the two-pitch stop where Stapness just coming and he's out of the pit after the first pit stop I think he came off right after Russell

[00:29:55] like in front of a PS3 and I was just thinking he PS3 kind of gave him the position like he kind of backed off if so that's why I felt at least if he was not his teammate I don't think he would have

[00:30:10] gotten that position yeah and at that moment I thought if only Okhan was here yeah some Michael base sort of shit would have seen like some it was yeah and I think there was some trauma

[00:30:30] being gone with him as well I didn't care about it I sort of like I got to I go back to the Brazilian 2018 shit whatever it was right like Max trying to punch Ocon that point was like

[00:34:59] the pack would like a three way battle but like even in the midge even in the the pack yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

[00:35:05] that one point was overtaking uh which was good to see because he was up to like P12 starting from P19 or 20 I forget like who started where in the pits but I presume both as was P19 right

[00:35:18] yeah I do it the whole the whole 15 people race was was brilliant and there was actually one more very good overtake with didn't get much attention was uh gas理 overtaking pairs that

[00:35:32] was also a very nice overtake oh yes yeah yeah similar overtake like same corner he kind of uh yeah cut him off uh at that chic like not exactly chicane that's quickly chicane kind of a turn

[00:37:47] oh wow and yeah and I think she had like right now she was 87 years old which is insane like she put like worst times the lady in the wheelchair that yeah Maddie McGee yeah oh wow that's her name
