[00:00:00] You are listening to the Quince Podcast. A Meditation to Let Go. You are listening to the podcast Escape With Zubin and this is your guiding voice, Zubin Aatre. We are going to begin a meditation that will help you to let go of things which do not
[00:00:30] belong in your life. It could be objects, people, habits, addictions or anything which you don't see yourself relating to anymore. We will be practicing this stillness for the next 7-10 minutes. Please make sure that you are in a comfortable and safe surroundings where you know you won't
[00:01:02] be interrupted. It's a beautiful day and you visualize yourself standing at the pace of a beautiful green mountain alone. You see yourself getting a rucksack on your shoulders which is unusually big. You seem to be heading towards the top of the hill.
[00:01:47] As you start, you feel proud of what you have. As you walk on along the uncut path, you notice that the things you carry feel heavier and heavier with each step. As you walk, you realize you want to be free of everything that is holding you down.
[00:02:26] You allow yourself to take a pause and firmly make up your mind to make your rucksack lighter. You visualize yourself opening the rucksack and choose to respectfully let go of everything that was weighing you down.
[00:03:01] You allow yourself to get rid of the grudges you held against the others. You choose to free yourself from the unrealistic expectations others may have from you. You free yourself from the burden of unwritten social rules.
[00:03:49] You choose to free yourself from the burden of being active on social media. You choose to free yourself from the toxic relations. You choose to free yourself from the WhatsApp group you don't relate yourself with anymore. You are already feeling lighter and more relaxed.
[00:04:43] You continue to walk and with each step towards the peak above you, you're getting loose and free. You are now light and free like a feather. There's a spring in your walk and your breath fills with the fresh alpine air. Your lungs are celebrating the full capacity.
[00:05:29] As you begin to exhale, you realize your rucksack got lighter and lighter with each step. You are making space for more air to enter your lungs. When you're celebrating the mental space, you have freed for better experiences to take place.
[00:06:06] You walk on in surprise and you feel the weight left off your shoulders. Your pace improves, the sound of birds creed you as you climb higher and higher towards your goal. Now you feel more accomplished and able physically, emotionally and intellectually.
[00:06:50] Now you slowly bring your awareness back to your body and you become aware of your immediate surroundings. And you open your eyes to a better, lighter version of yourself. Rub your palms together, cup your eyes and open them. You are fresh. This was your guiding voice, Zubin Atre.
