[00:00:32] into it. The Centre has advised states and union territories to screen and test all
[00:00:38] suspect M-POX cases in the community. They also instructed to identify isolation facilities
[00:00:43] in hospitals. These facilities should be available for both suspect and confirmed patients.
[00:00:49] The disruption of water supply in Kerala's capital city Tiruvannapuram has triggered a
[00:00:53] political row as Sudev started a protest on Monday seeking Mayor Aretha Jendran's resignation.

[00:01:49] substance of work. Senior advocate Kapil Sibel, appearing for the West Bengal government,
[00:01:53] told the Benz that he could not find the document immediately and would get back to the
[00:01:58] court on this question. At the outset, the West Bengal government told the top court
[00:02:02] that 23 people have died as doctors are on strike protesting the rape and murder of the post-graduate
[00:02:07] medic. The centre has advised states and union
[00:02:11] territories to screen and test all suspect M-POX cases in the community and identify
[00:02:16] isolation facilities in hospitals for both suspect and confirmed patients.
[00:02:20] In a letter sent to the states and union territories, Union Health Secretary Apurva
[00:02:24] Chandra asked them to prevent any undue panning amongst the masses. He asked the states and
[00:02:29] union authorities to review public health preparedness, particularly at health facility
[00:02:33] level, identify isolation facilities in hospitals and ensure availability of required logistics
[00:02:38] and trained human resources at such facilities.
[00:02:42] The disruption of water supply in Kerala's capital city Tiruvannathapuram has triggered
[00:02:46] a political row as Sudheva started a protest on Monday seeking Mayor Aayarajendra's
[00:02:51] resignation. Though posted dead by Congress accused the corporation of failing to find alternative
[00:02:55] ways to supply water to city dwellers. Over 5 lakh people were affected by the four-day
[00:03:00] long water supply disruption in the city. Udiv demanded that Aayarajendra should step
[00:03:05] down from the post of Mayor over the corporation's lapses in finding an alternative mechanism
[00:03:09] to ensure water supply to the people. Water supply to 4 to 4 wards of the corporation
[00:03:14] was disrupted for four days due to the realignment of pipelines as part of the
[00:03:18] track-doubling work on the Tiruvannathapuram Nagar Goyal railway line.
[00:03:22] The water supply was restored on Sunday night.

[00:04:10] The Code Code Principles sessions court has granted anti-spatry bail to Malalam
[00:04:15] director Ranjit in a sexual assault case filed by youth from Mangavar. The bail is valid for 30 days.
[00:04:21] The Kasabha police have transferred the case to the Karnataka police
[00:04:24] as the alleged crime occurred at a Bengaluru hotel. According to the complaint,
[00:04:28] the youth accused the popular director of sexually assaulting him and taking nude photos
[00:04:31] at the hotel in 2012. A special investigation team,
[00:04:35] formed to investigate sexual offenses in the Malalam film industry, has also recorded
[00:04:39] the complaint's statement. Ranjit is also facing separate
[00:04:43] sexual assault charges from Bengali actress. Although he sought anticipated bail from the
[00:04:49] High Court in the case, his plea was dismissed after police confirmed that only bailable charges
