[00:00:19] A farmer's bandh in Punjab's severely disrupted life across the state on Monday. The bandh was called by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha and Kisan Mazdur Morcha to demand a legal guarantee for a minimum support price for crops and to express solidarity with farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dhalewal,

[00:00:37] who has been on a hunger strike for 35 days. The shutdown, which lasted from 7am to 4pm, led to the suspension of rail and bus services,

[00:00:47] with farmers blocking roads and railway tracks in several districts including Patiala, Jalandhar and Amritsar.

[00:00:53] Many commercial establishments were closed and public transport came to a halt in various areas. Railways had to cancel or divert trains, leaving passengers stranded.

[00:01:05] Investigators in South Korea have sought an arrest warrant for suspended President Yoon Suk-yeol after he failed to report for questioning regarding his brief declaration of martial law.

[00:01:16] Yoon's decision led to a political crisis, resulting in his impeachment by parliament, though a constitutional court ruling is pending.

[00:01:24] Yoon faces criminal charges including insurrection, which could lead to life imprisonment or the death penalty.

[00:01:30] Despite being summoned multiple times, Yoon has not complied, prompting the arrest request.

[00:01:36] This is the first time in South Korean history that a president has faced such an attempt before the impeachment process concludes.

[00:01:45] Australia defeated India by 184 runs in the fourth test in Melbourne, taking a 2-1 lead in the Bordogavaskar Trophy.

[00:02:39] The price of the stake sale was not disclosed. As part of the exit, Adani's nominee directors will step down from Adani-Wilmar's board.

[00:02:54] Uma Thomas, MLA, who suffered serious injuries after falling from a stage during a dance event at Kalur Stadium,

[00:03:00] will remain on ventilator support for a few more days, as per a medical update from Renai Medicity.

[00:03:06] A CT scan showed no worsening of brain injury or internal bleeding, but lung injury has slightly worsened.

[00:03:13] The patient's vitals are stable and she is being treated with antibiotics for lung injuries.

[00:03:18] A cervical spine fracture was detected by no emergency intervention is needed.

[00:03:23] Treatment will continue once her condition improves, as assessed by the medical board.
