[00:00:20] Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh has publicly apologised for the ethnic violence that has plagued the Northeastern state since May last year. Reflecting on the turmoil, he expressed regret for the loss and displacement suffered by the people but ended the year with a message of hope envisioning a return to normalcy in 2025.

[00:00:37] The Chief Minister also called for unity among the state's communities urging them to move forward by forgiving past mistakes.

[00:00:46] The ethnic clash is sparked by tensions between the Medhi community's demand, which had dual-tribe status and opposition from the tribal Kuki community have claimed over 180 lives.

[00:00:57] Kerala Chief Minister Pindrai Vijayan on Tuesday condemned Maharaja BJB Minister Nita Eshtwane's controversial remarks comparing the southern state to Pakistan as extremely provocative.

[00:02:58] Yoon, who has been suspended from office, is being investigated on allegations that he led an insurrection, one of the few criminal charges from which a South Korean president does not have immunity.
