[00:00:07] Hey there! This is the CREDAI MCHI Grand Property Expo 2022 Podcast. In this one, we're doing things a bit differently where we hear from one of the visitors of the event and what his experience has been like so far.
[00:00:21] So hi Karan, welcome to the podcast. Thank you for being with us here today. Thank you very much. I've been listening to the podcast for the first time and I'm seeing it for the first time in the property show.
[00:00:30] So I feel a little weird too so please make me comfortable. Absolutely, that is my goal. So tell us first day of the property expo, how does it feel to be here? How has the experience been so far?
[00:00:42] I came to know about this property show through social media. I do a lot of Facebook and Insta. So I saw that there are some properties and I'm looking for a house actually.
[00:00:52] And I'm looking for a house since last 4 months. I've been going to developers office, projects, billboards, internet. I go to developers office, sales office but I didn't feel like it.
[00:01:04] So I thought this is a grand expo as they call it. So I was told that there are 100 plus developers. So I thought let's give it a try and after coming here, oh my God, these are very big.
[00:01:16] Now you've told us you've been looking for a home. Tell us a little bit about your dream home. Well yes, it's still a dream though. I am a bachelor. I'm planning to get married in the next year.
[00:01:28] So I'm looking for at least a 2 BHK for myself and the house should be with balcony. So I'm looking for a house like this and I hope I will get my dream house here. Okay great. Is this your first time here? Have you been here before?
[00:01:44] No, I have not been in any kind of expo. Yes I went to an expo but that was not as grand as this one is. It's so big that I've been wandering for 3 hours and I'm just confused because everything is what I want here.
[00:02:00] And I'm thinking which developer I should go to and if I go to a place, I get to see such a good product that I think I should buy it there. But the moment I go to another stall, there is something else exciting for me.
[00:02:13] Absolutely. So tell us what are the top 3 facilities that you would want from the house you're buying in? So outside of the home, what are the 3 amenities that you would look for?
[00:02:24] Well, amenity plays a very important role because nowadays you see a lot of projects which are coming up like a township. It gives you a sense of security for sure.
[00:02:34] So if you talk about amenities, I would definitely like to have a grand clubhouse where I can get all the sports facilities, good swimming pool, Jacuzzi, badminton court and stuff like that.
[00:02:46] So that will actually save money for me in long term because I don't have to invest into a gym outside. I don't have to travel to go to a badminton court or a cricket pitch.
[00:02:55] So I would love to have a clubhouse which will have all the sports facilities as such. Second thing I would say is in terms of amenities, security is a very important thing.
[00:03:04] So I would like to have at least 2-3 tier security wherein you get CCTV cameras, you feel secure there. That is the second amenity I would look about.
[00:03:12] And the third amenity is you should have a green view or a water body to look at otherwise it's all concrete jungle around you. So again, I'll sum it up. I like to have a grand clubhouse with all the sports amenities.
[00:03:26] I would like to have sense of security in terms of enhanced security tiers and 3 is a good view from my home.
[00:03:33] Absolutely. And you know we spoke about your dream home but if you were to talk about a dream location in the MMR region, what would that be for you? Oh God! I wish I can see a falling star today because I want to say Pali Hill.
[00:03:45] I am so excited but trust me, I cannot afford living there. Coming back to the reality, I am looking at places like Andheri because it's buzzing.
[00:03:53] My work areas are around so I don't have to travel much and I think it is in the center of Mumbai and Andheri is becoming a business district as such. So yes, that's what I am looking appropriately for. Okay, so I have one more last question for you.
[00:04:08] Have you seen anything here at the exhibition that interests you? Are you going to make a decision as anything you are buying? Okay. I had come here just to shop for window shopping but I feel like I am going to come back tomorrow.
[00:04:23] And I have asked my parents to accompany me because there is so much to see and decide. So today I am confused because there are many choices here.
[00:04:33] But I am bringing my family here and I am sure I will make a decision in these two days because there are so many spot offers here. I am sure that if I miss this, I might lose another Rs.10-12 lakh.
