[00:00:31] The people who have followed this podcast for the first time, I have told them many times about Yo Yo Hanne Singh.
[00:00:40] Whether you like him or not, the fact remains that he has played Punjabi music especially club hits.
[00:00:51] The hip hop genre has revolutionized the genre.
[00:00:56] I am a good singer and I am a good singer.
[00:01:03] But it was a phenomenon in itself.
[00:01:06] This is not just me, but many of our artists have told us that this music industry is a place for us to enter.
[00:01:20] If you are not happy, thanks to Haneepa Ji.
[00:01:25] We have got this opportunity to talk about 9XM and 9XM.
[00:01:31] But today's podcast interview is very different.
[00:01:37] Also because we have a new Yo Yo Hanne Singh with us.
[00:01:42] Kudos to you Paji, you are back with a bang.
[00:01:45] Hello, I am your Yo Yo Hanne Singh.
[00:01:49] Listen to my songs and give me a pleasant song for the next few years.
[00:01:53] 9XM, baby.
[00:01:54] 9XM is a traditional song.
[00:01:57] It is a very fun song and love song.
[00:02:01] It has been a long time since I was doing music.
[00:02:05] After that, I have been singing it for the first time.
[00:02:08] It's like a family.
[00:02:10] So I am really excited for that.
[00:02:12] Congratulations for your latest tracks.
[00:02:15] Also, your Haneep 3.0.
[00:02:17] And of course, your latest song in Kisek Abhai, Kisek Jain.
[00:02:23] You know, I want to talk about my personal favorite from your latest releases.
[00:02:28] Paris Beat Trip with Millen Gaba.
[00:02:31] Thank you, thank you so much.
[00:02:33] Paris Beat Trip is finally very happy.
[00:02:35] It is a very basic song to make a song.
[00:02:39] I am very much excited for Together Forever now.
[00:02:43] Because together forever is a love song that is something that is different from Paris.
[00:02:47] So, I will bring you something after every two weeks.
[00:02:50] Because all the songs are different.
[00:02:52] So, the song will be very different even if it is not a song.
[00:02:55] Paris Trip will be a trip.
[00:02:58] Trip will be a trip.
[00:03:00] What will you do with Motemot?
[00:03:02] What will you do with Lambo Numbok?
[00:03:04] What will you do with your sister?
[00:03:06] What will you do with these two?
[00:03:08] What will you do with your sister?
[00:03:10] What will you do with your sister?
[00:03:12] What will you do with your sister?
[00:03:14] What will you do with your sister?
[00:03:16] You know, we had Millen Paji on this podcast.
[00:03:19] I think episode number 11 is about him.
[00:03:22] He had told us so many things about your bonding, about your chemistry.
[00:03:30] And he gives you credit.
[00:03:32] I know Tapsi when he was 14 years old.
[00:03:35] I went to meet his father for the first time in 2005.
[00:03:38] And he has a great director and a great musician.
[00:03:41] So, he had no help from him.
[00:03:44] He gave me samples of Dholat at the time.
[00:03:47] Free of cost.
[00:03:49] He needed that time.
[00:03:51] So, I know Tapsi very well about his family.
[00:03:56] So, I started doing a lot of things in the music.
[00:03:59] So, I wanted to talk about it.
[00:04:01] So, finally, collaboration has been made.
[00:04:05] And I said, let's do it.
[00:04:07] And I applied for music.
[00:04:09] And I applied for it.
[00:04:10] Pappaji, one thing is that if you want to listen to the song,
[00:04:14] you can also agree with me.
[00:04:16] But because being with Ninexam for so many years
[00:04:20] and we have created a new way of music industry.
[00:04:24] And we have seen many different waves from the very far.
[00:04:27] We have experienced it.
[00:04:29] So, you were definitely a phenomenon, a rage
[00:04:33] and you have been in the mainstream Hindi music.
[00:04:37] You know that Punjabi, Hariyanvi, hip hop
[00:04:40] was very, very revolutionized.
[00:04:45] Thank you, thank you so much.
[00:04:47] I have been very grateful to everyone.
[00:04:50] I am trying to try.
[00:04:52] And even now, all of us are very big.
[00:04:55] And the music is very strong.
[00:04:57] So, we will do something big.
[00:04:59] Definitely, if you all will be with us.
[00:05:01] In fact, I remember that even Guru Randa was telling us about
[00:05:05] your and his friend.
[00:05:07] Guru is like an interviewer too.
[00:05:09] He is very sweet.
[00:05:10] Our designer's songs were very good.
[00:05:13] He was also a collaboration with Guru.
[00:05:15] And we were not able to shoot in COVID.
[00:05:18] And I was very happy.
[00:05:19] So, when I will get a shot, I will wear a design and shoot.
[00:05:23] He waited for me for two years to do this collaboration.
[00:05:26] And really want to thank everybody who worked with me.
[00:05:29] And we have heard a lot from various artists on this podcast.
[00:05:34] You know about the madness in your studio.
[00:05:37] How does that move?
[00:05:39] You know, one by one, we were telling you
[00:05:42] that if you want to see real honey sing,
[00:05:46] then it has to be in his studio.
[00:05:49] You know, you are then working with those beads.
[00:05:52] So tell us something about that.
[00:05:54] I produce beads myself.
[00:05:56] And I write them myself.
[00:05:58] I try to sing a little bit.
[00:06:00] So, in the studio, it is just a mood.
[00:06:03] If it is a mood, then it becomes something.
[00:06:05] It becomes a 3rd song in the night.
[00:06:07] I am taking my album and 3.0.
[00:06:09] The 9 years after my album will be released.
[00:06:12] After Desi Kalakar.
[00:06:13] I am solo album.
[00:06:14] I have no collaboration.
[00:06:16] And before that, I was writing songs with little people.
[00:06:19] With little alphas.
[00:06:21] With little homies.
[00:06:23] But I have written the whole album myself.
[00:06:25] I have composed everything.
[00:06:27] So it is going to be something different.
[00:06:29] What is the matter, Paji?
[00:06:31] No doubt.
[00:06:32] You know, in Bollywood, Punjabi music has become such an integral part.
[00:06:37] You know, we cannot think that in Hindi music,
[00:06:42] Punjabi or Haryanvi, touch now, Haryanvi or Punjabi music or songs or folk,
[00:06:51] that influence.
[00:06:52] That is what we see.
[00:06:54] So, what do you feel about that?
[00:06:56] For that, I would like to thank the most.
[00:06:59] In Bollywood, only one actor who has not been able to complete this revolution
[00:07:04] has been able to enter the country.
[00:07:07] If he had not come, then independent music scene.
[00:07:10] If he had not reached Bollywood, then Punjabi music would not have been able to promote.
[00:07:15] At the time of the year, Punjabi music was touching.
[00:07:20] But it was not that big.
[00:07:22] But Haseb has given him a chance to play next level.
[00:07:26] He gave me some chance and gave all the people a chance.
[00:07:28] And he has promoted Punjabi songs.
[00:07:31] So, Punjabi is also playing in Bollywood today.
[00:07:35] But, you know, in today's era, independent music has been achieved with this color.
[00:07:41] And it was not like this when you entered way back then.
[00:07:46] So, how do you feel about this, which means that the Indian music or independent music is going to be achieved today?
[00:07:54] Yes, independent music is a very important thing.
[00:07:57] And I think that independent music scene is very good.
[00:08:01] At first, when I started working on the music, Bollywood was a very big challenge.
[00:08:06] Bollywood music was so big that it was so much packaging and all the promotions.
[00:08:12] The independent music was difficult to survive in parallel.
[00:08:16] So, I started with a very visual, very dope video, brown one.
[00:08:25] I made a big, large live music video, I shot in blue, I shot in Hollywood, I shot in DC, Hollywood.
[00:08:31] So, I can play the visuals of Bollywood.
[00:08:34] And I can give them some audience.
[00:08:37] And finally, today, everything is going well and many independent artists are here.
[00:08:42] And one of my favorite independent artists right now is Shob.
[00:08:46] He is amazing. He is dope.
[00:08:49] And also without any social media, right?
[00:08:52] When you have that success or that name, that fans pay.
[00:08:57] So, that time, social media marketing was not even there.
[00:09:01] I know YouTube was there, of course.
[00:09:04] YouTube's peak phase was just started.
[00:09:07] But today, social media has all the action.
[00:09:13] All the promotions are there.
[00:09:15] So, what are your thoughts about that?
[00:09:17] I was just good at doing it.
[00:09:21] And I tried to do it myself.
[00:09:23] I am very strong in self-critic.
[00:09:25] And I am going to India before taking you to the front.
[00:09:30] So, I tried to do something different.
[00:09:34] The other people who are not doing it.
[00:09:36] And I got to hear something old, new sound, lyrics, new songs, new things.
[00:09:43] So, I tried to do it and people liked it.
[00:09:47] And I was singing this song.
[00:09:50] So, Pajee, let me also tell you how do you deal with the pressure of delivering a hit?
[00:09:56] I trust that I don't really treat anything of it.
[00:10:01] If a song is hit, then fans have hit it.
[00:10:04] So, if I made a song by making a song and listened to it,
[00:10:09] 40 people have listened to it.
[00:10:11] So, I am trying to keep it.
[00:10:13] And people are still playing it.
[00:10:15] They haven't heard this song for the first time.
[00:10:17] I think they want to listen to some love songs.
[00:10:19] So, I am trying to put on a love song.
[00:10:21] So, I don't believe in pressure and I don't think that I will hit it.
[00:10:25] So, I want to hit it.
[00:10:27] The fans who listen to it, listen to it.
[00:10:30] The ones who are going to hit the song.
[00:10:32] I try to do something better, do something different.
[00:10:34] If not, I think I understand.
[00:10:36] I make a song by making it by making it.
[00:10:38] And you will get to the past.
[00:10:40] Paji, let's talk about your slow romantic numbers.
[00:10:43] With together forever, you have shown a romantic side to your fans.
[00:10:49] So, let's talk about that.
[00:10:51] You know, your slow numbers are different.
[00:10:53] Fans are following you.
[00:10:55] Together, forever is a special song.
[00:10:57] And I have not written this song.
[00:11:00] I composed it.
[00:11:02] It's a love song.
[00:11:03] And I am talking about it in my life.
[00:11:06] I have some personal things in this song.
[00:11:09] I have related my life with it.
[00:11:12] And I think last time, my love song was written by Rityak Roshan
[00:11:18] and so on.
[00:11:19] It was a very slow life.
[00:11:21] So, this is something different from it.
[00:11:23] But this is also a love song.
[00:11:25] And I think it will make people like it.
[00:11:28] And we made a song by making it by making it into a song.
[00:11:32] And the product is very good.
[00:11:34] The first time I had a black model cast in it.
[00:11:39] In Indian music history, Indian Bollywood music,
[00:11:43] in cinema, there was no black actress or black model cast.
[00:12:05] And we have to know how this song is going to make you listen to the song.
[00:12:28] I like to listen to the song of Dutch music and Arabic music.
[00:12:31] I like to listen to it a lot.
[00:12:34] If there is any sadmio, then I listen to a very slow song.
[00:12:38] Every singer and singer has a collaboration song.
[00:12:41] I listen to a song by Indian Sarka and a song by Gana Independent Girl.
[00:12:46] I listen to a lot on the long drive.
[00:12:48] They are my favorite songs.
[00:12:49] The song of Bollywood is a song by Dilcees.
[00:12:53] So this is my favorite song.
[00:12:55] And I don't know.
[00:13:02] These are my favorite songs.
[00:13:04] These are my favorite songs.
[00:13:07] If you ever get to know the songs of Dilcees,
[00:13:12] then you will have to sing a lucky song.
[00:13:15] That's what I like.
[00:13:19] Melodies are hardy.
[00:13:22] Melodies are softy.
[00:13:24] Melodies are softy.
[00:13:25] Melodies are softy.
[00:13:26] Melodies are softy.
[00:13:27] Melodies are softy.
[00:13:28] Melodies are softy.
[00:13:29] If you have chances to go to the Musician.
[00:13:36] The track is amazing!
[00:13:38] If those are not, then we will be talking about today's melodies.
[00:13:42] Today's most!
[00:13:44] atoon of the songs.
[00:13:46] If you talk about it in front of someone,
[00:13:48] then Melodies King is the only person in this kind of music.
[00:13:53] Melodies are not with anyone.
[00:13:57] I have not been able to make a song for 4 years.
[00:13:59] I have not released the song yet.
[00:14:01] I will release it soon.
[00:14:03] The song will be so beautiful that you will enjoy it.
[00:14:05] So this big credit to
[00:14:09] Himeesh Bhai
[00:14:11] that he has also kept the melodies in this door.
[00:14:15] Wow!
[00:14:17] So what do you do on your songs?
[00:14:19] Do you like listening to your own songs?
[00:14:21] I do.
[00:14:22] The song I listen to is actually
[00:14:25] I listen to my own songs.
[00:14:27] I also listen to my own songs.
[00:14:29] I listen to my own songs too when I have stage
[00:14:31] when I get money to listen to them.
[00:14:33] So I listen to my own songs.
[00:14:35] I am telling you the truth.
[00:14:37] I never release my own songs.
[00:14:39] I listen to my own songs
[00:14:41] which are made by the song
[00:14:43] I listen to them repeatedly.
[00:14:45] I am checking how they are looking.
[00:14:47] I have been made for a month.
[00:14:49] I do that.
[00:14:51] I do not listen to the old songs.
[00:14:53] I will tell you that
[00:14:55] I am sure
[00:14:57] our listeners will agree
[00:14:59] that your own song on stage
[00:15:01] is like absolute
[00:15:03] madness
[00:15:05] fire.
[00:15:07] I have seen three times
[00:15:09] your live gigs.
[00:15:11] It's madness.
[00:15:23] I am getting married.
[00:15:25] I go to the stage very much.
[00:15:27] I performed in Delhi
[00:15:29] until then.
[00:15:31] I was about to take 20,000 tickets
[00:15:33] and it was October
[00:15:35] and I had 12,000 people.
[00:15:37] It was a baritone.
[00:15:39] And in the baritone it was 10,000 people.
[00:15:41] I am in a gleeful
[00:15:43] stage.
[00:15:45] I am not in a gleeful stage.
[00:15:47] But their energy
[00:15:49] seemed to be so cool.
[00:15:51] I should not be in a gleeful stage.
[00:15:53] So, the energy of the people
[00:15:55] is the positivity of the people
[00:15:57] which we write songs
[00:15:59] perform, shoot
[00:16:01] and perform on the stage.
[00:16:03] It's all your energy
[00:16:05] which we reflect on.
[00:16:07] Paji, your comeback is
[00:16:11] commendable.
[00:16:13] It's inspiring.
[00:16:15] Not just on the professional front
[00:16:17] but also personally
[00:16:19] you have come to the podcast.
[00:16:21] Tell us what you do
[00:16:23] to stay fit.
[00:16:25] Secret is not just working out
[00:16:27] I am doing it regularly
[00:16:29] and I am eating boiled chicken
[00:16:31] and I am eating this diet
[00:16:33] and I am not trying to eat clean diet
[00:16:35] and I am never trying to miss
[00:16:37] working out.
[00:16:39] And if you talk about the music
[00:16:41] and what is your
[00:16:43] honey sings creative discipline?
[00:16:45] Now, we are very well
[00:16:47] in my team
[00:16:49] whom we know
[00:16:51] both the new girls
[00:16:53] and the current
[00:16:55] and the base.
[00:16:57] We all sit
[00:16:59] and talk about the next 12-12
[00:17:01] and we start the session
[00:17:03] after 8 hours
[00:17:05] and then we start to sleep
[00:17:07] and this is our schedule
[00:17:09] and we try to do it
[00:17:11] until we are not travelling
[00:17:13] and we will be fighting
[00:17:15] because we are going to stay in the evening
[00:17:17] and we will not stay tomorrow
[00:17:19] and we will take you to the hospital
[00:17:21] so this is the schedule
[00:17:23] and this is everything
[00:17:25] for music and life
[00:17:27] so this is our discipline.
[00:17:43] We have maintained a style
[00:17:45] and today's artists
[00:17:47] are coming to the talent
[00:17:49] and they will give you tips
[00:17:51] on how to be
[00:17:53] and how to remain authentic
[00:17:55] I think
[00:17:57] that
[00:17:59] I am not going to get any advice
[00:18:01] but I am also learning
[00:18:03] but the advice
[00:18:05] is
[00:18:07] to be able to eat
[00:18:09] and to be able to
[00:18:11] to stay in the store
[00:18:13] and to show you
[00:18:15] when it is needed
[00:18:17] if we are going to stay in the market
[00:18:19] then we will not be able to eat
[00:18:21] and we will not be able to restore
[00:18:23] to go to the store
[00:18:25] and today we are doing
[00:18:27] to show everyone
[00:18:29] they want to be out there
[00:18:31] they want to be in the store
[00:18:33] they want to be seen everywhere
[00:18:35] which is not very important
[00:18:37] so we are going to make some authentic
[00:18:39] work
[00:18:41] go to your store
[00:18:43] restore yourself
[00:18:45] then come back to the market
[00:18:47] I am also not sharing the same share
[00:18:49] because this is a very big market
[00:18:51] so I will keep my mind
[00:18:53] and stay here
[00:18:55] I live in Delhi
[00:18:57] I live in Delhi
[00:18:59] I live in my studio
[00:19:01] I live in my family
[00:19:03] so I am going to eat my food
[00:19:05] and stay in Delhi
[00:19:07] I am very happy
[00:19:09] thank you
[00:19:11] and as I said
[00:19:13] you have shown
[00:19:15] high and low
[00:19:17] to your success
[00:19:19] we want
[00:19:21] to know
[00:19:23] how to deal with success
[00:19:25] and failures
[00:19:27] I think
[00:19:29] we have understood
[00:19:31] that we have met success
[00:19:33] because success is a very big word
[00:19:37] and it is very big
[00:19:39] so I always want to stay there
[00:19:41] and I don't want to meet a person
[00:19:43] so I don't get to meet him
[00:19:45] I have thought
[00:19:47] that my dreams are very less
[00:19:49] but I am less
[00:19:51] so I have already seen dreams
[00:19:53] and I will sing more
[00:19:55] so I think
[00:19:57] success
[00:19:59] both are important
[00:20:01] and success
[00:20:03] mainly
[00:20:05] is difficult
[00:20:07] and if you feel
[00:20:09] that you will get to meet
[00:20:11] then don't do that
[00:20:13] otherwise it will stop
[00:20:15] so for me
[00:20:17] it is the beginning of success
[00:20:19] because I have thought
[00:20:21] that I am very big
[00:20:23] so this is what I believe
[00:20:25] success is
[00:20:27] just don't think about it
[00:20:29] you have got the biggest
[00:20:31] type of things
[00:20:33] now you are light
[00:20:35] but you work in Mumbai
[00:20:37] and Delhi
[00:20:39] but Mumbai has given you
[00:20:41] all the success
[00:20:43] what is your success
[00:20:45] and what is Delhi
[00:20:47] and what is Delhi
[00:20:49] I didn't give music
[00:20:51] I had a song
[00:20:53] from the city
[00:20:55] we are in the city
[00:20:57] and we are in the city
[00:20:59] and we are in the city
[00:21:01] and we are in the city
[00:21:03] and we are in the city
[00:21:05] but we have taught
[00:21:07] that we should teach
[00:21:09] so we teach
[00:21:11] very quickly
[00:21:13] so we can do this
[00:21:15] which I think
[00:21:17] is not a good idea
[00:21:19] but it is a good idea
[00:21:21] so we can do this
[00:21:23] so we can do this
[00:21:25] with that
[00:21:27] I am from West Delhi
[00:21:29] which is a small area
[00:21:31] in the Ghetto
[00:21:33] and I am now
[00:21:35] in the West Delhi
[00:21:37] I am 25 kilometers away
[00:21:39] but once or twice in a week
[00:21:41] I need to eat street food
[00:21:43] and I get to my old friends
[00:21:45] and my old circle
[00:21:47] and friends
[00:21:49] and all the things
[00:21:51] I enjoy
[00:21:53] and they are my guide
[00:21:55] and in Delhi
[00:21:57] I get to spend 4-5 hours
[00:21:59] and I try
[00:22:01] to make this rule
[00:22:03] that I leave
[00:22:05] and once or 4-5 hours
[00:22:09] I need to spend my mind
[00:22:11] and think about it
[00:22:13] I work in the car
[00:22:15] I call, I attend
[00:22:17] then I go to gym
[00:22:19] and my mind is open
[00:22:21] I observe the world
[00:22:23] so until I go to the studio
[00:22:25] I am full
[00:22:27] so I get to write
[00:22:29] wow
[00:22:31] I don't have to eat
[00:22:33] it's a crime
[00:22:35] tell me about your favorite
[00:22:37] food when in Delhi
[00:22:39] Delhi's favorite street food
[00:22:41] is the best
[00:22:43] and Mumbai's favorite
[00:22:45] street food
[00:22:47] without eating
[00:22:49] just the word
[00:22:51] I love that
[00:22:53] and what is the honey sing
[00:22:55] do you like to cook
[00:22:57] I cook
[00:22:59] Indian masala pizza
[00:23:01] and Portuguese
[00:23:03] I think Parjee
