[00:01:01] This episode is the second one in the four-part series that 4C Radio is bringing out in collaboration with SEEDS, Sustainable Environment and Ecological Development Society, an organization based in Delhi that has been working for over 30 years towards protecting lives and livelihoods in the wake of climate change, natural hazards and human-made disasters.

[00:01:26] In this four-part series, Prachi Pinglai travelled to different pockets of New Delhi, the capital of our nation, and spoke to people living in difficult conditions, battling extreme heat, floods and loss of livelihood due to the worsening climate change. This episode takes us to Noida Sector 134 and Sector 135 near River Yamuna,

[00:01:51] where we spoke to migrant residents who end up staying on a higher ground when the river floods during monsoons, not for a day or two, but for weeks on end. The women spoke of their struggles and how things have changed over the years and with increasing extreme weather events. They told Prachi about health issues that occur due to the floods and how it impacts children's education and their family incomes.

[00:02:55] When the flood is in the flood, you can see that you are living in the flood. When the flood is in the flood, you can see that you are living in the flood. and the house for us to be able to leave home. It's not a day for days, but a day for days,

[00:03:23] a few weeks, and a few months. This is our idea of thinking about it. But in Delhi, many people for this year are not a good thing. We saw the last episode in the episode that in Delhi, we have seen what happened to us and what happened to us. In this episode, we will go to Jamna Ji.

[00:04:17] We will leave one year and leave the second year. We will go to the house. We will live just by the house. We will live just by the house. The house is like the house. It will be a whole life. We will see the house. Yes, we are here in the Yamuna Nadi. About half a mile away from the north of Noida sector 134 and 135. Here there are 800 homes.

[00:04:45] This is the place where people are living here.

[00:05:15] But the rain and rain are all over 3-4 years from the past year. Renu Verma told us what happened when the rain came.

[00:05:46] The rain came in 15 days. The rain came in 2013. And this year? This year, it was 15 days. But the rain came in 15 days. What are the benefits? The rain came in the same way. The rain came in the same way. The rain came in the same way.

[00:06:18] The rain came in the same way. The rain came in the same way. But the rain came in the same way. It is the first cause of climate change. The rain came out of the same time. The rain came out of the same way. This is another reason that you can keep the water in your place.

[00:06:46] When you get water, you can keep the water in your house. When you get water, you can keep the water in your house. When you get water, you will get the water in your house. In 2023, there was so much more than a week that you can't get the water. Here is the road above and the house is the house.

But in the year 2025, when it was a big bird, it was also a bird in Punjab. There was no one who helped here. People have told us that the bird would have affected their life.

[00:07:41] The bird would have affected their lives, the nature and the house. It's a work that we put in the trees. We put trees. We put trees in the house. We can't take the trees on the house.

[00:08:10] We can't take the trees. We keep the trees with the trees. We don't have to take the trees. We have to take the trees from here. foreign foreign

[00:08:38] foreign foreign foreign foreign foreign foreign foreign foreign foreign

[00:09:08] foreign So there is no big bag. The bag is not coming, then the bag is coming. The bag is coming, 150 days, and the cost of water is coming. Who comes here? You come here. You come here from the bag. Or other nurseryers? No, nurseryers. The big big big farm. We have to buy all the plants.

[00:09:39] But when we grow, we think that there will be plants that will not be found. For 3-4 months, we don't have any plants. We have to grow. Like Dingo, Malaria, Bukhar, all of these plants come from the water. So when the water is coming, then you can sit back and sit back? Yes, sit back. I have to do it. I have to do it.

[00:10:06] I have to do it. I have to do it. How do you do it? It is a bad boy. It is a bad boy. It is a bad boy. The water is always gone everywhere. There are toilets, ladders, etc. Then the water is filled with water. The water does not absorb.

[00:10:36] The water goes away, the water is filled with water. The water goes down. It is dry here. It is dry here and it is not dry. It is not dry. It is dry. So the water is still alive. That is so good. The water is still alive. When the water gets too cold, it will be more than two months.

[00:11:04] We feel that when the rain is finished and the water goes out, the water will be solved. But the water is still alive. The water is not stuck. The water is not the same as the water comes. But the water comes in the future. The water will be too bad. When the trees come, the trees are falling off, they can't survive. No, the trees will be reduced.

[00:11:32] The trees will not sink, and the trees will sink. The trees will sink and the trees will sink. Yes, it will sink. When the trees are filled, the trees will sink. This water will be used to pour water. The water will be used to pour water. Basically, it is very warm for them. The water is very warm. They can't survive in the water.

[00:12:00] The water will be used to pour water. It should be cold. There will be no problem. But the water will come out when the water will come out. When we have a house, we have to take care of our children. We have to take care of our children. When we take care of our children, we hear that we will take care of our children.

[00:12:30] We are living in the world, we will make our children. It is so difficult for the people who have a new disease. The people who have a new disease will be born. They are sick and they are sick. They are sick and they are sick. It's very difficult. It's very difficult. It's difficult to get all the things.

[00:13:00] There are no water in the bathroom. There is no water in the bathroom. There is no water in the bathroom. It's difficult to get all the things. It's difficult to get all the things. It means that people can recover for several weeks or months. In such situations, there is no help from the people. Sometimes it's not enough. It's not enough. Seeds, disaster management and prevention both work.

[00:13:29] They are based on the house. In 2023, Seeds have built here a house that can be sold in the bathroom and after the bathroom, they can be cleaned in the bathroom. It's made the material and the water for both. It's made the material. and they are also doing a lot of services. We are going to the bathroom here.

[00:13:59] We are going to the bathroom here. No. You need 5 videos. Yes. We will get 2-3 videos. Here are the two ladies. Where are you? Where are you going? This is the bathroom. The bathroom is very clean. Here? Yes. I am the name of the bathroom.

[00:14:30] How do you need to be cleaned and removed? This is closed. Yes, the bathroom is closed. I will open it. If it is not the bathroom, it will be 5-6 hours. If it is closed, it will be closed. If it is closed, it will be closed. It will be closed. It will be closed. No one can open it.

[00:15:00] It is also used. But it is not proper. It has a very good test. It is very good. It will be used to the bathroom. You can also use it. If there is a bathroom, it will be affected. Otherwise, we will also put a small bedroom. It will also be a small place. It is like a small bedroom. It is also a small bedroom. It will be fixed properly. It will not happen like that. It will be normal. It will be normal. It will be normal. Then, the rain is in the rain. You can carry it.

[00:15:30] But we are here. We are here. It is set to be fixed. We have to remove the bathroom. Then set the room. But when you come back after the second day, the condition is correct? Yes, the condition is correct. It is the same. It is the same. It is the same. It is the same. It is the same. Every year, the rooftop is safe. So, the bathroom is living on the roof. In 1000 years, there will be a water on the roof. So, it is even falling in it. The roof will also be flooded. Now it also hurt the room.

[00:16:00] But this is better. So, when we are here, that is a littleена. It is worth finding the roof. When we get the roof of the roof, we have to remove the roof. We don't go down. It is too much to make the roof near the roof. we are sharing with them.

[00:16:27] For an NGO, we need to make a relationship with this kind of knowledge and confidence. After seeing the sector 134 and 135, we went to Yemen. I asked him about his experience. We are currently in Nangli 134, where we are from Yemen. We start from here from half a kilometer. What is this? When the city is growing up,

[00:16:55] the city is growing up in this area. People are growing up in the area. People are growing up in their homes. They are already eating food. People are working here mostly in the nursery. They are growing up in the nursery. They can take a school to take a school. They are growing up in the nursery. We need to make a school for this. You cannot find them at that time.

[00:17:25] Because there is a lot of trouble coming here. There are many problems on the ground. I saw that during the year 2023, it was only about three months. The water was stored in one month. After that, they moved here. After that, they came back in the nursery. After that, they were within the nursery. They had the last three months. After that, they returned to the nursery.

[00:17:54] they also came back at the summer. They also came back at the summer. There were also a lot of people. Many people in the summer. In this country, In 2013, there was an incident that was happening in our women group. And all of them were getting stuck in the back. When they were killed, one snake had to cut them. And they had to be hospitalized. So there were cases of snakes, after we talked about disease. When it comes to the back and then people are changing, so what is the disease?

[00:18:24] So mostly people have to deal with dango, taifi. They have to deal with these things. It means that the disease also increases. It is not safe after drinking water. People have skin allergies and fever. So these are all problems that are faced before and after. When we talked about the trees here, they told them that the water is not increased, but it has reduced.

[00:18:53] It seems strange to hear, but it is true. It is not too much. The water is more attractive than the water. There are many different things. But the water is less attractive than the water. The water is less attractive than the water. It does not look like the water. They give their children better life.

[00:19:25] They will be here and they will be here and they will be here. They will know that they will not be easy to do anything. But they will try to do it. When we come here, we have been here for 16-17 years. We have been here for 4 times. We can come next year. We can come here. We can come here. We can come here for about 8 months. We have been here for 8 months.

[00:19:52] We will not be here again. We are still here and we have been here for 4 days. We all have been here for 15 years. We have kept it, put it, and we have also stuffed it. But when we come, we will take them all. We will serve for years. After that, when we come, we will take them all. We are not able to get up. We will do something else.

[00:20:22] We will have to do it. We will have to get the blood of our body. We will not eat the blood. What do we say? Once we get money, we will not go. We will do something else. We will stay in the middle of the prison. We will go out. foreign foreign foreign foreign or the difference in the message,

[00:21:02] अगले एपिसोड में हम यमूना नदी के बारे में जालेगे, और समझने की कोशिक करेंगे इस नदी की कहानी, जो महाभारत से तो चली आरही है, But to see where it's going today and where it's going tomorrow. Let's get to the next episode.

[00:22:21] Has the river changed over the years? Does it flood more now? Why is it so dirty? And what can be done to fix it? We still see these through the eyes of a farmer who has lived there for almost 50 years. Thank you for listening to this podcast. As always, stay curious and tune in for more.
