How much salary is actually enough in India? Two families earning the same amount can have completely different financial lives. In this video, I explain why your city, housing costs, dependants, loans, and lifestyle matter more than comparing your salary with someone else's.
I use different household examples to explore what 'enough' can look like, and show you a simple way to calculate your own number using monthly essentials and annual expenses. We also talk about making room for travel, saving and investing, building an emergency fund, and working towards a retirement where you can support yourself. These are illustrative estimates, so use your own expenses to work out what fits your life.
