This 800-year-old folk theatre tradition from the Sindhudurg region captured his imagination as a child and eventually inspired him to create a cinematic tribute that has revolutionized Marathi cinema.

From a curious child watching midnight temple performances to a filmmaker preserving this precious cultural heritage - this is the beautiful journey of how personal memories transformed into a visual masterpiece that celebrates Kokan's artistic sou
