The importance of Travel insurance ! #shorts

The holiday season is upon us! And we’re personally BIG fans of travelling. And one thing (other than a toothbrush) that we NEVER forget to travel without, is travel insurance.

Yes yes, there are a lot of you who think it’s just a nuisance expense and it doesn’t REALLY make that much of a difference in your life, but trust us, it does!

✈️You need travel insurance for short trips/domestic travel as well: Long or short, domestic or international unexpected situations like trip cancellations, medical emergencies, or baggage mishaps, can happen anytime! Travel insurance can safeguard against these.

🌎Your health insurance covers me abroad, but you STILL need travel insurance: Even if your existing health insurance offers adequate coverage overseas, there may be limitations for coverage and may not include other expenses like emergency evacuation, trip postponements, or repatriation in dire medical situations. Travel insurance bridges these gaps!

💰Travel insurance is NOT expensive AT ALL: The price of travel insurance fluctuates, sure, but it’s quite cheap in our experience. Weigh the potential expenses of medical emergencies abroad, last-minute trip cancellations, or lost luggage against the insurance cost (which tends to be minimal).

😮‍💨You NEED insurance for pre-existing medical conditions as well: Even if you have a pre-existing condition, it doesn’t automatically disqualify you from getting insurance. Coverage terms will vary, but cross-check cause you may get a provider that has waivers for these.

💪Travel insurance claims aren’t that tedious and aren’t often denied: Claims processes require accurate documentation and following guidelines, but that’s true for travel or any other type of insurance! If you just maintain the records, including essential documents and receipts, and communicate with your insurance provider promptly in case of an incident, you’ll be just fine.

So get yourself some travel insurance this season and we’ll see you soon!
