Voices from the Grassroots | Sanjit Patnayak | South Orissa Voluntary Action

Sanjit Patnayak, Secretary, SOVA highlights how the lockdown amid the current crisis has become an impediment to children's learning and education in rural Odisha. Around 70% of children from the Koraput district have no access to digital mediums. In addition to this, the lack of parental guidance, increased engagement in household chores and no communication with their teachers is further compounding the learning crisis.

About SOVA:

SOVA's initiative on enhancing access to quality education is aimed at both pre-primary and primary levels. For more information, visit: http://www.sovakoraput.org/
