Five decades back we ventured in the ‘Land of Smiles’ and ever since our journey has been dotted by many impressive milestones. 15 years in world’s 50th largest country and we were already a dominant staple fibre producer, exporting 85% of the global produce to 38 countries. This, followed by another milestone in the next 9 years when Aditya Birla Chemicals’ sulphates division was already powering the world as the largest sulphites producer.
