[00:00:03] Hey everyone, this is Voice with Warikoo, my or Ankur Warikoo.

[00:00:07] In this English podcast series, I cover many things in this English podcast series.

[00:00:11] Career, relationships, personal finance, success, failure, and frankly, something else that comes to the time.

[00:00:19] Every week on Thursday, a new episode on your favorite podcast platform.

[00:00:24] Voice with Warikoo.

[00:00:29] It's the New Year!

[00:00:31] New Year, Happy!

[00:00:32] Warikoo! Welcome and best wishes to the New Year.

[00:00:35] And I'm sure by now, you have made that resolution that we all end up making, which is to get fit.

[00:00:42] I'm sure you have made that resolution that this year, we will be dead and dead.

[00:00:50] We will get fit.

[00:00:51] And I'm also sure that very soon, you will break this promise.

[00:00:56] I have the whole hope that soon, you will break this promise.

[00:00:59] But if there's one thing that I can tell you with conviction.

[00:01:06] I've been into fitness for nearly 12 plus years now.

[00:01:10] And in those years, I have learned a lot.

[00:01:13] Fitness has now become a part of my life.

[00:01:15] It has taught me some really valuable lessons that I would love to share with you.

[00:01:20] In the past 12 years, fitness has been a very important part of my life.

[00:01:24] And fitness has taught me a lot about health.

[00:01:26] Not only about health, but about life.

[00:01:29] Which I would like to share with you all.

[00:01:31] Number one.

[00:01:33] You can lie to anyone and everyone in the gym.

[00:01:36] But you can never lie to yourself.

[00:01:38] And that's the same for life.

[00:01:40] What we do when no one is looking,

[00:01:42] is who we truly are.

[00:01:45] Now, you can say it wrong.

[00:01:46] You can say it wrong with the instructor.

[00:01:47] You can say it wrong with the instructor.

[00:01:48] You can say it wrong with the 20 push-up.

[00:01:50] People can say it wrong with the people.

[00:01:51] You can say it wrong with the people.

[00:01:53] But you can't say it wrong with yourself.

[00:01:55] And this is true for life.

[00:01:57] When anyone doesn't see anything,

[00:01:59] we do what we do.

[00:02:00] That's what we do.

[00:02:02] Number two.

[00:02:04] No matter how much the weight,

[00:02:06] don't ever close your eyes.

[00:02:09] No matter how big the problem,

[00:02:10] don't ever close your eyes.

[00:02:13] Number two.

[00:02:14] And this was my trainer taught me.

[00:02:17] That you can say it wrong with the weight.

[00:02:20] Never close your eyes.

[00:02:23] In life,

[00:02:25] whatever big the problem you have,

[00:02:27] never close your eyes.

[00:02:30] Number three.

[00:02:32] When in pain,

[00:02:33] don't ever look down.

[00:02:35] Always look ahead.

[00:02:37] When in pain,

[00:02:39] always.

[00:02:40] Look ahead.

[00:02:42] Number three.

[00:02:43] This was my trainer told me.

[00:02:45] That when you're lifting weight,

[00:02:46] you'll be scared.

[00:02:47] But never look down in pain.

[00:02:51] Never look down in front.

[00:02:53] Never look forward.

[00:02:54] In life,

[00:02:55] whenever you're scared,

[00:02:58] never look forward.

[00:02:59] Never look forward.

[00:03:00] Number four.

[00:03:01] You're running,

[00:03:02] you're lifting,

[00:03:03] you're cycling,

[00:03:04] and it feels like the pain

[00:03:05] will kill you.

[00:03:07] But it doesn't kill you.

[00:03:08] It goes away.

[00:03:09] The pain goes away.

[00:03:12] In a second,

[00:03:13] in a minute,

[00:03:14] in an hour,

[00:03:14] in a day,

[00:03:15] in weeks or months,

[00:03:16] the pain goes away.

[00:03:18] But the pain of not trying,

[00:03:21] that stays forever.

[00:03:23] Number four.

[00:03:50] You don't get to anything meaningful in life,

[00:03:53] by showing up just one fine day.

[00:03:56] You don't get fit by showing up at the gym one fine day.

[00:03:59] You don't get six-pack abs by just showing up one fine day.

[00:04:04] It requires you to show up every day.

[00:04:07] Every single day.

[00:04:29] Number six.

[00:04:32] worse than no exercise

[00:04:34] is the illusion of exercise.

[00:04:38] I've been working out for 12 plus years now,

[00:04:40] almost every day.

[00:04:41] And one would expect that it gets easier.

[00:04:44] But it doesn't.

[00:04:45] It's just as hard to lift, to run, to crunch.

[00:04:48] It never gets easier.

[00:04:50] You just get better.

[00:04:52] Number six,

[00:04:54] exercise is the bad thing to do.

[00:04:56] It's to think that you're doing exercise.

[00:04:59] I'm going to exercise from 12 years ago.

[00:05:00] Exercise is the bad thing.

[00:05:01] Almost every day.

[00:05:03] But it's like that it's easy to go to any point.

[00:05:06] It will be easy.

[00:05:06] But it doesn't happen.

[00:05:08] It's so much now.

[00:05:09] Lift, run, crunch.

[00:05:11] It doesn't happen.

[00:05:13] You become better.

[00:05:16] Arnold Schwarzenegger shared this beautiful quote.

[00:05:18] He said that a well-built physique reflects

[00:05:21] that you've worked hard for it.

[00:05:23] And no money can buy it.

[00:05:24] You cannot borrow it.

[00:05:26] You cannot inherit it.

[00:05:27] You cannot steal it.

[00:05:28] You cannot hold on to it without constant work.

[00:05:31] It shows discipline.

[00:05:33] It shows self-respect.

[00:05:35] It shows patience, work ethic, and passion.

[00:05:39] Arnold Schwarzenegger said a very good story.

[00:05:41] That's why I said that you have to do it.

[00:06:13] Don't break this promise.

[00:06:17] Don't break this promise.

[00:06:19] All the best.
