[00:00:03] Hey everyone, this is Voice with Warikoo, with my name is Ankur Warikoo.
[00:00:07] In this English podcast series, I cover a lot of things.
[00:00:11] Career, relationships, personal finance, success, failure and frankly anything else that comes to mind.
[00:00:19] Every week, Thursday, on your favorite podcast platform, a new episode, Voice with Warikoo.
[00:00:29] Here are 7, in my opinion, super difficult questions but they can change your life.
[00:00:36] Number one, I call it the two-week test.
[00:00:40] So look at the last two weeks and if you lived the rest of your life,
[00:00:47] the exact same way as you lived the last two weeks, would your life become better or worse?
[00:01:08] Because then that will tell you that your daily habits are the building blocks of our future selves.
[00:01:16] The habits of our daily lives are the same.
[00:01:21] Number two, fear versus fear.
[00:01:24] Desire, fear and desire. Is it something that you're afraid of doing because of the world but you really want to do it?
[00:01:34] Something that you really want to do but you're afraid of because you're afraid of the world.
[00:01:40] Our deepest desires often hide behind our biggest fears.
[00:01:55] Number three, unspoken words.
[00:02:02] If you die tomorrow, there's someone you want to say something but you haven't been able to say it yet.
[00:02:10] And what do you want to say?
[00:02:13] If you die tomorrow, is it a question of your life or your life?
[00:02:15] Is it a person whom you wanted to tell something but you could never tell them?
[00:02:18] And what is it that you would want to tell them?
[00:02:22] Tomorrow isn't guaranteed. Speak your truth today.
[00:02:27] Nobody will see it tomorrow.
[00:02:29] Tell the truth today.
[00:02:32] Number four, life's true priority.
[00:02:37] The most important thing in life.
[00:02:40] In the remaining time that you've left on earth, what is the most important thing for you?
[00:02:46] And do you work towards it every day?
[00:02:52] What is the most important thing in life for you that you're working everyday for?
[00:03:03] Our actions, not our intentions define our priorities.
[00:03:08] The actions we do, not what we think, are the ones that make our lives.
[00:03:16] Number five, the parent paradox.
[00:03:19] Our parents.
[00:03:21] How many times did you meet your parents in the last month?
[00:03:25] And the time that they have left, how many more times will you be able to meet them?
[00:03:30] And will that be enough for you?
[00:03:46] Time with a loved one is a finite resource.
[00:03:50] Spend it wisely.
[00:03:53] The time that we get with our closest relatives will end one day.
[00:03:59] So whenever we get it, we'll be able to spend it.
[00:04:03] Number six, the paralysis of potential loss.
[00:04:08] Is there anything that you don't want to do because you're afraid of losing?
[00:04:13] There are things that you don't want to do because you're afraid of losing.
[00:04:18] Sometimes the fear of losing prevents us from ever winning.
[00:04:24] Sometimes we can't win out of fear of losing.
[00:04:29] And last question, the final question.
[00:04:35] Identity stripped bare.
[00:04:38] Your entire existence in front of you.
[00:04:42] Without your name, your designation, your status, tell me who you are and do you like this answer?
[00:04:50] Without your name, without your designation, without your identity,
[00:04:53] tell me who you really are and do you like this answer?
[00:05:01] Because our truest self exists beyond our social constructs.
[00:05:07] The reality that we are, the society that thinks about us, we are beyond that.
[00:05:14] These questions will force you to find an uncomfortable, such,
[00:05:20] such search for your life, your relationships, your own existence.
[00:05:26] These questions will force you, as they forced me to confront uncomfortable truths about our life,
[00:05:33] about our relationships, about our own identity.
[00:05:36] They aren't just thought experiments.
[00:05:38] They are catalysts for change.
[00:05:41] This is just a story or a question.
[00:05:43] This can really change our lives.
[00:05:47] Which was the toughest question for you?
[00:05:48] Which was the hardest question for you?
[00:05:54] All the best.
