[00:00:00] Hello and welcome back to The Royals Podcast. As always, we have some wonderful guests but

[00:00:19] before that just an intro on the host today it's me Ravichandran Ashwin and it is The Royals

[00:00:24] Podcast and Spotify. Hope you've been enjoying this series but today we have a wonderful

[00:00:28] guest list. Usually in Bollywood movies they introduce the captain and the hero laughs

[00:00:32] but today we've got the captain on the podcast. Welcome on the show Sanju.

[00:00:37] Okay that was good. That was easy. Okay and next we have I don't know how to introduce this man but it's

[00:00:42] easier if you guys can get this the current orange cap holder and I don't think the cap is

[00:00:46] leaving his head anytime soon welcome on the show Jaws. No pressure thank you. That's how soft

[00:00:51] spoken he is all the time and I hope he's a little more louder today and on my left the

[00:00:55] man who's pretty funny and can I call you funny or the guitar man of the team? You

[00:01:00] can call me whatever you want Ash. Okay before before we introduce him officially can you

[00:01:04] take a guess if you guess you're pretty much a Royals fan but the man on my left is Trent

[00:01:09] Bolt obviously you can't see the podcast but as always Rajasthan Royals will be hosting

[00:01:13] it out on Instagram and you can see how the podcast looks on a visual. Welcome on the

[00:01:17] show gentlemen hope you are having a good time with the Royals in the bubble Sanju

[00:01:23] do you want to go? Yes I'm really enjoying the bubble a lot of good people around

[00:01:27] a lot of friends around having good fun. What about you Jaws how's the bubble

[00:01:31] going? Yeah the bubble's been good it's a good group and my family has just come out

[00:01:37] to join as well so that's been a bit of a nice surprise for me to join the bubble

[00:01:41] for a few days. Even though you're English I found it amazing that you joined

[00:01:46] your daughter the other day in a very Bollywood fashion have you managed

[00:01:50] to catch up a lot of Bollywood films during the bubble time how did it work?

[00:01:53] No I haven't but no I think they had to do their few days quarantine and then

[00:01:59] it's obviously you'll know as a dad as well what a special moment it is when you see your kids again

[00:02:04] and yeah those first few moments a nice big hug. It was wonderful I had a

[00:02:09] smile on my face instantly Trent did you have a look at it? Yes I did yeah it

[00:02:14] obviously made me miss my kids which I'm expecting they're gonna surprise me

[00:02:17] at some point as well. We look forward to that are you gonna crawl in the floor as well?

[00:02:21] Yeah I probably will. Okay now it's obviously oh I didn't introduce the show

[00:02:26] it's match day by the way so we're gonna relive the match day today with all

[00:02:30] these three gentlemen who are having a wonderful time with the Rajasthan Royals

[00:02:34] going through into the playoffs we are almost there. Sanju how does a match day

[00:02:38] look for you? You're the captain of the side you're pretty much good okay do

[00:02:43] you prepare for the toss? Yes I started preparing for the toss I think a lot

[00:02:48] of practice going around. How exactly do we do it? Do you remember the five

[00:02:52] rupee coin trick I told you? Yeah but I think we are choosing some other coin

[00:02:58] in the match. I think Jaiswal gave me some ideas of I think flipping it in another

[00:03:03] direction or calling heads when it's on tails or the other side so yes I think

[00:03:09] I got it right last game I think hopefully. Yeah you got it right we still

[00:03:12] batted. Now Jaws how does your match day preparation look like the orange

[00:03:17] cap is sitting pretty tight and firmly on your head how does it look like

[00:03:21] I think a few batsmen can get some takeaways from that. Yeah I'm pretty

[00:03:24] relaxed to be honest I'm pretty much still on England time so I wake up

[00:03:28] very late have breakfast around sort of half one I like to go to the gym on

[00:03:35] match day as well I like to try and get moving and obviously the games start

[00:03:38] late so that's a long time to just sit around so bit of gym and then look

[00:03:43] forward to the game and I think we do some good preparation on the days

[00:03:47] before and training and all the analysis and that kind of stuff so much

[00:03:52] day pretty relaxed and just excited to go and play. You said you gym on the

[00:03:56] game day right we've been hearing that word a little bit more the trainer is

[00:03:59] a game every player on to do what you do obviously I think that looks like a

[00:04:02] success man threat to him from the training perspective what exactly do

[00:04:05] you do how extensive is your gym session before the game. Not too

[00:04:10] strenuous but just to sort of get the body moving and I'm sure if you

[00:04:14] got Rajamani on your podcast he could talk for half an hour on the science

[00:04:18] behind priming on a game day but yes I like to have a good stretch and get

[00:04:23] moving and then I just do some sort of power exercises that he tells me

[00:04:28] there's a benefit for in six hours time when you when you will actually be

[00:04:31] playing cricket. Right Pulti how does your match day look like does it

[00:04:35] look does it start with the guitar session or something. I love the

[00:04:38] guitar don't you. I do but first of all it doesn't start with

[00:04:41] breakfast at 1 30 in the afternoon. I get up a lot earlier than

[00:04:45] Joss generally have breakfast by myself and then yeah nothing too

[00:04:50] complicated it could be a long day I suppose sitting around in the room

[00:04:53] waiting for the bus to leave at five o'clock but I've got my guitar I

[00:04:57] don't have it here today so I won't be playing any songs and then yeah just

[00:05:02] I guess keep it nice and casual and look to bring the energy that

[00:05:06] that afternoon and again. Right actually there is this question

[00:05:10] obviously Royals you know they're very much on this analytical side of

[00:05:13] things when you look at the fans outside even the common man will say

[00:05:17] Royals are very much into the analytics part of it. You being a

[00:05:20] bowler and contributing a lot to the analytics if I may say so how does

[00:05:24] your how does your preparation for a game exactly pan out. Are you a

[00:05:28] big man on meetings. Do you crunch the numbers. Do you watch the

[00:05:31] batters. What do you do. I like to keep it incredibly simple from

[00:05:35] a personal point of view. My game plan is very simple without giving away

[00:05:38] too many tricks but I like to pitch the ball up and like to swing the

[00:05:42] ball and my job is to get wickets early in the power play there and

[00:05:48] obviously contribute with the bet and my new form found role of number

[00:05:51] eight. So it's very simple I don't like to have a complicated message to

[00:05:57] Jimmy Nisham by the way you went out to bat at D-Way part and I

[00:06:00] can't remember who your partner was but I said ball T over cover for

[00:06:04] four and Jimmy said be glad if he hits the ball and it's kind of

[00:06:10] every ball that you struck the other night I was just telling

[00:06:12] myself Jimmy just got run out and he should have been at the

[00:06:15] other end watching Bowl D strike these balls. How about you just

[00:06:18] just jumping on from Bowl T how about you are you a big man of

[00:06:21] watching footage analytics. How much do you read into it into

[00:06:24] your own game and stuff. I try and take it for what it is

[00:06:27] and if there's anything that I have been playing against

[00:06:30] someone I've not seen before I like to just have a little

[00:06:34] watch of the videos and see those things but I think now

[00:06:36] having now been quite experienced and played a few years of IPL

[00:06:39] and sort of know the conditions you know the opposition quite

[00:06:42] well and now I think my own game you have to sort of turn up

[00:06:46] and play how you see it on the day. I don't think you can go

[00:06:48] in with too many preconceived ideas and try and play the

[00:06:51] situation try and assess conditions and go from there

[00:06:55] but at the same time make sure there's no sort of real

[00:06:58] surprises and of course in the IPL there's always young

[00:07:01] players especially coming in who not seen before maybe that's

[00:07:05] a conversation with some of the other guys in our team who've

[00:07:07] played with or against them just to sort of get yourself

[00:07:11] accustomed to what they might bring and then I try and sort

[00:07:14] of play the game in front of me. In case you're listening

[00:07:17] to the Royals podcast and if you hear an overlapping noise

[00:07:19] it's the CEO of the team Jay Clashmachram and he's as we

[00:07:23] are speaking trying to strike a deal somewhere very big and

[00:07:26] guys you can be rest assured there's some money coming

[00:07:28] from the bullies family. Get them over a few children.

[00:07:32] A few children that'll be nice. Yeah. Oh they're under two so

[00:07:35] they fly free if that does help. By the way Jake please note

[00:07:40] that and get it bullies family in as soon as possible and

[00:07:43] yeah just dwelling upon that a little bit more you spoke

[00:07:46] about the IPL wanting to prepare watching new guys

[00:07:49] coming over how difficult the tournament IPL is in terms

[00:07:54] of roller coaster you have your great days we love

[00:07:57] we'd loved watching your centuries then you have days

[00:07:59] where you don't really get the get the thing going.

[00:08:02] How do you really assess these situations? Do you assess

[00:08:04] much or you just leave it out there and just go hit the

[00:08:06] ball next game. C ball hit ball kind of a player.

[00:08:09] A little bit but now I do think about the game a touch

[00:08:12] more than that. Now obviously when you have great days

[00:08:15] you're really delighted without trying not to get too high

[00:08:19] but at the same time when you have the bad days try

[00:08:21] not to get too low. I think I'm now I think when I

[00:08:23] sort of look back I try and look back sort of logically

[00:08:26] and sort of without much emotion sort of I got out

[00:08:31] the other day playing it was one of my favorite shots.

[00:08:33] You know I'm always disappointed to get out it looks

[00:08:35] bad in that situation but I've had lots of success

[00:08:37] with it at the same time so try not to read in too

[00:08:40] much to it and I think you know T20 is a tough

[00:08:44] game you know a lot of the time you the game

[00:08:47] is always telling you to try and take it on

[00:08:49] and be brave so there's not much time for trying

[00:08:51] to play it safe and get yourself in that way

[00:08:53] so I think you're almost better off going the

[00:08:55] other way when you have a run a lot of scores.

[00:08:58] Just go out there and attack it.

[00:08:59] Okay Josh from taking it from the he spoke about

[00:09:02] logic he spoke about keeping it really simple

[00:09:05] not quite the job for a captain isn't it?

[00:09:07] There's a lot more emotions running around the

[00:09:09] match day you can't just focus on your batting

[00:09:11] you need to focus on five people who might

[00:09:13] deliver any ball in that particular day

[00:09:15] you've got two bowlers sitting on the podcast

[00:09:17] how does it feel like to be a captain part

[00:09:20] of all those meetings do you love these meetings

[00:09:22] how do you communicate with your bowlers

[00:09:24] and so on and so forth?

[00:09:25] I think to be very honest I think it's

[00:09:27] definitely a new team actually so when

[00:09:29] you have a new team and you have new

[00:09:30] people new players with you it's very

[00:09:32] important to have spend a lot of time

[00:09:34] around them understanding them in the

[00:09:36] meetings understanding them on the

[00:09:38] field in the net of the field it's

[00:09:40] very important and once you do that I

[00:09:42] think once you do that I think I don't

[00:09:43] like to spend a lot of times in the

[00:09:45] meetings or I think having a lot of

[00:09:47] logic thinking around the games

[00:09:49] actually so I like to just trust them

[00:09:51] and just allow my bowlers to do

[00:09:53] whatever they want to do actually I think

[00:09:54] once you're the captain only see only

[00:09:57] while you are keeping or fielding or in

[00:09:59] the ground actually so I think the plan

[00:10:01] and the execution has to come from the

[00:10:03] bowlers and when you have a very

[00:10:05] experienced lineup like what we have I

[00:10:06] think the job is just to give the

[00:10:09] bowler the ball at the right time

[00:10:10] actually so I think hopefully it's

[00:10:12] working well and sometimes it doesn't

[00:10:14] section so it's okay

[00:10:15] What do you do when it doesn't?

[00:10:17] I just smile and move on

[00:10:21] I'm quite intrigued by something

[00:10:22] something that you do on the field

[00:10:24] you very rarely run up

[00:10:26] there was a nine second video bite that

[00:10:28] I saw where Harsha Boghle was talking to

[00:10:31] you about how similar you look like

[00:10:32] when you talk close to MS Dhoni

[00:10:36] do you know what he was referring to

[00:10:37] because a lot of people are looking

[00:10:38] for some clarity on that

[00:10:39] No, I felt good about it and just

[00:10:42] left it actually so I think that someone

[00:10:44] is comparing the way I speak to I

[00:10:47] think that's okay I didn't go much

[00:10:49] deep into it I think

[00:10:50] but fans are looking forward to the

[00:10:52] answer I think but there was not much

[00:10:53] that you're giving away

[00:10:54] anyway the exact question that I wanted

[00:10:57] to ask was you run up to a bowler when

[00:10:59] you generally find there is a necessity

[00:11:01] to I can see what you might be speaking

[00:11:03] to Chehel I can see what you might

[00:11:05] speak to Bolte I know what you exactly

[00:11:07] speak to me but I want to know what

[00:11:08] exactly you speak to Obed McCoy

[00:11:11] I'm sometimes intrigued by what the

[00:11:12] conversation would look like

[00:11:14] Yes, I think we do have very funny

[00:11:16] chat a very funny one last time I

[00:11:18] think when I walked into him or I was

[00:11:20] going to tell him like what is his

[00:11:22] plan or what we should do at that point

[00:11:24] of time so he gave me a very

[00:11:27] I can't say that on my I think after

[00:11:30] the show and secondly to you know I

[00:11:32] think it was very funny to know that

[00:11:33] he's totally chilled out even those

[00:11:35] on pressure situations actually so I

[00:11:37] think it's very interesting to have

[00:11:40] a chat with some characters like

[00:11:42] him actually so it's really amazing

[00:11:44] he indeed is a character but talking

[00:11:46] about characters we've got characters

[00:11:48] from all over the world it's about a

[00:11:50] different culture different

[00:11:51] different dressing room atmospheres

[00:11:53] let me begin with Joss you've been

[00:11:55] part of the IPL for a long time so

[00:11:56] was Bolte been how different are

[00:11:59] dressing room atmospheres when you

[00:12:01] compare it to the national side to

[00:12:02] the IPL side you also have played

[00:12:04] the big bash so how different are

[00:12:06] they

[00:12:07] Yeah, different I think anytime

[00:12:09] you're playing cricket in India there

[00:12:10] is a certain expectation and pressure

[00:12:12] from the outside whether you imagine

[00:12:14] playing for India or whether you're

[00:12:15] playing in an IPL franchise I think

[00:12:17] the eyes on the game are that much

[00:12:20] more when you're playing cricket in

[00:12:21] India so I think that brings with it

[00:12:23] some pressure and brings with it

[00:12:24] some emotion that you're playing in a

[00:12:27] huge tournament

[00:12:28] the highs and lows are there for

[00:12:31] everyone to sort of live through and

[00:12:33] I think at certain times in your

[00:12:35] national team you know you spent a

[00:12:37] lot more time together you sort of

[00:12:39] get to know people over years and

[00:12:41] years as you know with the IPL

[00:12:43] even though I've been with the

[00:12:45] franchise for sort of five years you

[00:12:46] only coming back for eight weeks

[00:12:48] during a year so it's a little bit

[00:12:51] different I think the way you know

[00:12:52] people in that and I think it

[00:12:54] sometimes is a bit calmer in the

[00:12:56] English dressing room then we've got

[00:12:58] a few fiery guys but Jason Roy

[00:13:01] springs to mind but apart from him

[00:13:02] there's quite a relaxed group but

[00:13:05] I think the emotion is great

[00:13:07] that people live it and I think

[00:13:08] it's really important to be

[00:13:10] authentic and do that so but I've

[00:13:12] seen more the pressure from the

[00:13:13] outside

[00:13:15] how it affects people in the IPL

[00:13:17] I'd say

[00:13:18] whether that's good or bad I think

[00:13:19] is

[00:13:21] and especially probably more so in

[00:13:22] bubbles you know you don't have

[00:13:24] that release or

[00:13:25] they talk about form when you're

[00:13:27] going through good form or bad

[00:13:28] form

[00:13:29] it's just sometimes not that

[00:13:30] escape you get in a bubble so

[00:13:34] certainly some emotional guys and

[00:13:36] like I say after wins or losses

[00:13:38] it can be high or low

[00:13:40] when you talk about emotional guys

[00:13:41] we certainly enjoyed your centuries

[00:13:43] this season as a bowler

[00:13:44] I certainly know why I enjoyed

[00:13:46] because I know we're going to

[00:13:46] cop it so some might as well

[00:13:48] give some back but

[00:13:50] I found something amazing

[00:13:51] a guy from Ghana

[00:13:53] cheering on a guy from England

[00:13:54] probably to be precise

[00:13:55] Lancashire who turns up for Lancashire

[00:13:58] and he was celebrating your century

[00:13:59] did you even notice it or

[00:14:00] you for you it's not

[00:14:01] it didn't come through your vision

[00:14:02] how did you find that

[00:14:04] yeah I did actually I noticed

[00:14:05] that he

[00:14:06] really enjoyed batting with him

[00:14:07] I think I got a hundred somewhere

[00:14:09] as well he wasn't batting

[00:14:09] and I watched him in the dugout

[00:14:11] do a big fist bump and he

[00:14:12] actually punched the top of the

[00:14:13] dugout and I quite like to ask him

[00:14:15] about that so

[00:14:16] so Ham but Hettie's a lot of fun

[00:14:18] to play with I've really enjoyed

[00:14:19] getting to know him this tournament

[00:14:21] he's always got that massive smile

[00:14:23] on his face he sort of takes you

[00:14:25] back to why he started playing

[00:14:27] cricket doesn't he looks like he has

[00:14:28] a lot of fun on the field

[00:14:29] and he tries to impose that

[00:14:31] on the guys he's playing with as

[00:14:32] well so

[00:14:33] yes when your teammates are really

[00:14:36] happy for you that's a great

[00:14:37] place to be as a side

[00:14:38] he said then not an easy aspect

[00:14:40] that everybody can invite

[00:14:42] Baltic is moving on

[00:14:43] when you talk about Mets

[00:14:44] he has a great mate and Hettie

[00:14:45] who celebrates his centuries

[00:14:47] very very you know

[00:14:48] that's that's not an easy trade to

[00:14:50] have but you have a partner

[00:14:51] who you really gel well with

[00:14:52] right Prasad Krishna

[00:14:54] have you guys had any interactions

[00:14:56] before getting into the Rajasthan

[00:14:58] Royals

[00:14:58] how did this sort of bond happen

[00:15:00] was it made in heaven

[00:15:01] was it made in heaven

[00:15:03] no I think

[00:15:04] no I hadn't obviously

[00:15:05] bowl with PK before the

[00:15:06] tournament

[00:15:07] hadn't really met the guy too

[00:15:08] much either but

[00:15:09] I think just naturally

[00:15:11] create a bit of a bond

[00:15:13] with the role that you play

[00:15:15] yeah I've thoroughly

[00:15:17] enjoyed bowling with them

[00:15:18] learning from them

[00:15:19] I definitely think it's the

[00:15:21] the best part about the IPL

[00:15:22] in the sense that you get

[00:15:23] the opportunity to come into

[00:15:24] you know certain franchises

[00:15:26] meet different players

[00:15:28] overseas players that you're

[00:15:29] competing against on a

[00:15:30] world stage and then suddenly

[00:15:32] you know Hettie's

[00:15:32] cheering on Josson

[00:15:33] and the aspect of

[00:15:34] being on the same team

[00:15:35] so it is very unique

[00:15:37] you know being able to

[00:15:38] create some good friendships

[00:15:39] over the years and

[00:15:41] yeah I'm loving it so far

[00:15:42] so hopefully we can keep

[00:15:44] jelling for the next

[00:15:45] couple of weeks and

[00:15:46] obviously push forward

[00:15:47] right into this tournament

[00:15:48] and do something pretty special

[00:15:49] is there anything inside

[00:15:50] you that lies

[00:15:52] lies somewhere deep

[00:15:53] within your heart

[00:15:53] that when Sanju's

[00:15:55] scoring runs

[00:15:56] and you're looking at

[00:15:56] cheering on and quietly

[00:15:58] going

[00:15:59] this guy is batting really

[00:16:00] well I don't want him to

[00:16:01] bat like this

[00:16:01] when he's facing New Zealand

[00:16:02] or I don't want to be

[00:16:03] bowling too much

[00:16:04] in the net

[00:16:05] is there any wicked

[00:16:06] intention that's there

[00:16:07] lying deep inside your heart

[00:16:09] um

[00:16:10] quietly yes

[00:16:11] yeah no it is always

[00:16:14] a bit unique

[00:16:14] you almost put yourself

[00:16:15] in the opposition's shoes

[00:16:18] and go you know

[00:16:18] thank gosh I'm not

[00:16:19] going to joss when he's

[00:16:20] doing the things he's doing

[00:16:21] but hey there's

[00:16:23] some quality players

[00:16:24] all through the tournament

[00:16:25] and yeah I think

[00:16:26] everyone who I'll

[00:16:27] speak for everyone

[00:16:27] in the sense that

[00:16:28] you want to try

[00:16:29] and test yourself out

[00:16:30] against the best players

[00:16:30] in the world

[00:16:31] and that's definitely

[00:16:32] nice to be on the

[00:16:33] same coloured strip

[00:16:34] as a couple of guys

[00:16:35] here sitting on this table

[00:16:36] yeah just now

[00:16:37] I'm shifting attention

[00:16:38] back to Sanju

[00:16:40] it's quite a tough job

[00:16:41] it's not

[00:16:41] I don't think it's

[00:16:42] appreciated enough

[00:16:43] in terms of the challenges

[00:16:44] it posts on a captain

[00:16:46] you're almost thinking

[00:16:47] okay team first

[00:16:48] and then myself

[00:16:50] it's kind of very different

[00:16:51] you're picking us

[00:16:51] you're selecting 11

[00:16:52] sitting in meetings

[00:16:54] and also you have these

[00:16:55] situations where you

[00:16:56] have to

[00:16:57] tell people that they're

[00:16:58] not playing

[00:17:00] before a match day

[00:17:01] how exactly do you

[00:17:02] go about it

[00:17:02] do you take the help

[00:17:03] of the staff

[00:17:04] how do you communicate

[00:17:06] how is your equation

[00:17:06] it has been a very tough

[00:17:08] thing to do as you rightly said

[00:17:09] I think it's very

[00:17:11] important to back players

[00:17:12] when they are failing

[00:17:13] and at times

[00:17:14] I think you need to go out

[00:17:15] and say that you're not

[00:17:16] playing the next game actually

[00:17:17] so

[00:17:17] gets a bit confusing for me

[00:17:19] to actually

[00:17:20] decide on what do I

[00:17:22] want to go at which

[00:17:22] should I need to back my

[00:17:24] players or should I need

[00:17:25] to give them rest

[00:17:25] and

[00:17:26] back someone else actually

[00:17:27] so that's something

[00:17:28] which I've been

[00:17:29] learning a lot

[00:17:30] I think as a captain

[00:17:31] I think last year

[00:17:32] I was doing a bit differently

[00:17:33] but this time

[00:17:33] I think having some good

[00:17:34] people around

[00:17:35] I think in the leadership

[00:17:37] group may be

[00:17:38] Sangha or Jaws

[00:17:39] I think learning from them

[00:17:40] and how can we

[00:17:42] adapt to different conditions

[00:17:43] and different opponents

[00:17:44] and I think how the franchise

[00:17:46] cricket is played actually

[00:17:47] so I think there's a lot of

[00:17:48] learning for me as a captain

[00:17:49] so

[00:17:50] yes it's definitely

[00:17:51] being very hard

[00:17:52] I think I remember going

[00:17:53] and

[00:17:54] me and Sangha

[00:17:55] going and

[00:17:56] to telling

[00:17:57] Jaiswal after the third game

[00:17:58] that he's not playing actually

[00:17:59] so I think

[00:18:00] he just before that time

[00:18:02] I think last night

[00:18:03] when we played that third game

[00:18:04] he came and told me

[00:18:05] Sanjubai what can I do

[00:18:07] I told him that

[00:18:09] Jaiswal don't worry

[00:18:10] I'm going to back you

[00:18:10] Don't worry we'll sit you out

[00:18:12] for the next game

[00:18:12] No I told him

[00:18:14] definitely don't worry

[00:18:15] about being dropped

[00:18:16] and all

[00:18:16] I'll definitely back you

[00:18:17] I'm going to back you

[00:18:18] no matter what

[00:18:19] you go and play

[00:18:20] and the next night

[00:18:21] I'm sitting with him

[00:18:21] and saying

[00:18:22] sorry Jaiswal

[00:18:23] I'm not playing you

[00:18:24] so that was a very tough

[00:18:26] moment for me

[00:18:26] I think I took around

[00:18:27] one day to recover

[00:18:28] from that actually

[00:18:29] so I could see

[00:18:31] tears coming out

[00:18:32] from his eyes actually

[00:18:33] so I think that was really

[00:18:34] really touching for me

[00:18:35] so I think yeah

[00:18:36] it was a very hard time

[00:18:37] and I think it's really

[00:18:38] challenging too at times

[00:18:39] I think it's very hard

[00:18:41] for me to decide actually

[00:18:43] as a batsman

[00:18:43] as you rightly said

[00:18:44] I think what is the right

[00:18:45] combination

[00:18:46] or what is the right batting

[00:18:47] order for a batsman

[00:18:48] to go

[00:18:48] or what my team demands

[00:18:50] actually

[00:18:50] so I think it's very

[00:18:51] challenging

[00:18:52] and I'm learning a lot

[00:18:53] just to put you on the spot

[00:18:54] a little bit more

[00:18:55] and we're speaking about

[00:18:56] building on to match day

[00:18:57] but exactly in the match

[00:18:59] you've got two bowlers

[00:18:59] on this podcast

[00:19:00] Bowl D and I

[00:19:01] I'm sure both of us

[00:19:02] have been very good

[00:19:03] when it comes to DRS

[00:19:04] with you

[00:19:05] we've not forced anything upon you

[00:19:06] we saw Bowl D miss the

[00:19:07] Mitchell March

[00:19:08] this missile

[00:19:08] yeah we have been

[00:19:09] took that

[00:19:10] he's that good

[00:19:11] but can you take us through

[00:19:12] how these DRS conversations

[00:19:13] evolve on the ground

[00:19:14] do you have

[00:19:15] have you had any

[00:19:16] interesting interactions

[00:19:17] interesting ones

[00:19:18] I think one

[00:19:21] yeah I think we have

[00:19:22] done almost fine

[00:19:23] I think one

[00:19:23] missing one or two

[00:19:24] and 13 games is fine

[00:19:26] I feel but

[00:19:27] I think DRS

[00:19:27] it depends upon different

[00:19:28] actually I think

[00:19:29] the court behind

[00:19:30] ones can be more

[00:19:32] judged by me

[00:19:33] and then I think LBW

[00:19:34] I think when I'm moving

[00:19:35] behind the wicket is far

[00:19:36] it's very hard for me

[00:19:37] to judge the line of the ball

[00:19:39] so I do take a very good call

[00:19:41] I think if the bowler

[00:19:41] is very confident

[00:19:42] I go for it

[00:19:43] no matter what actually

[00:19:44] so it depends upon

[00:19:45] the bowler

[00:19:46] and the keeper

[00:19:47] actually

[00:19:48] what are you thinking

[00:19:49] Bowl D

[00:19:49] as a bowler

[00:19:50] what are you thinking

[00:19:51] how did you miss

[00:19:52] the Mitchell March one

[00:19:52] in fact

[00:19:53] I came from Midwicket

[00:19:54] and asked you

[00:19:54] what happened

[00:19:55] I didn't miss it

[00:19:56] I was appealing

[00:19:57] and then I stopped appealing

[00:19:58] and no one was

[00:19:59] appealing with me

[00:20:00] so I thought

[00:20:00] a bit of quiet

[00:20:01] but yeah

[00:20:02] that was an odd one

[00:20:03] you don't really know

[00:20:04] when it's so close to the bat

[00:20:05] in the ball

[00:20:05] but yeah

[00:20:07] I

[00:20:07] there's not many bowlers

[00:20:08] in the world

[00:20:09] that will refuse to go

[00:20:10] for a potential LBW

[00:20:12] so yeah

[00:20:13] I do know some more

[00:20:15] eager than others

[00:20:16] but they're not at this table

[00:20:18] I'm pretty eager

[00:20:21] Joss

[00:20:22] a very important part of

[00:20:24] going into a match day

[00:20:25] is the travel in the bus

[00:20:27] we stay like

[00:20:28] some 140 kilometers

[00:20:30] away from every single ground

[00:20:31] in Mumbai

[00:20:32] it's quite a long journey

[00:20:34] for us to go into every game

[00:20:35] I can see you

[00:20:36] like gasping for breath

[00:20:37] already

[00:20:37] how does your bus

[00:20:38] journey pan out

[00:20:39] do you get

[00:20:40] do you get stiff

[00:20:40] or you're just listening

[00:20:41] to music

[00:20:42] you're chatting away

[00:20:42] are you quiet

[00:20:44] you're quiet always

[00:20:45] yeah

[00:20:45] I'm usually pretty quiet

[00:20:46] but I do put my headphones on

[00:20:48] because I don't think

[00:20:49] they sell headphones

[00:20:50] in Sri Lanka

[00:20:51] because Mali and Sanger

[00:20:53] do not use headphones at all

[00:20:54] to listen to stuff

[00:20:56] so that's that

[00:20:57] pretty close to me

[00:20:58] so I need to put some

[00:21:00] headphones on

[00:21:00] and listen to some music

[00:21:02] I cuddle up next to Romi

[00:21:03] at the front of the bus

[00:21:04] and enjoy the long drive

[00:21:07] like you say

[00:21:08] it's a bit of a trek

[00:21:09] so

[00:21:10] but yeah

[00:21:11] if anyone out there

[00:21:12] could send through some

[00:21:13] noise canceling headphones

[00:21:15] and send them

[00:21:16] to Sanger and Mali

[00:21:17] you want them made from Sri Lanka

[00:21:18] or

[00:21:19] well anyone

[00:21:20] just even some

[00:21:21] some good ones

[00:21:21] yeah

[00:21:22] get them across

[00:21:23] right

[00:21:23] how does your bus

[00:21:24] journey pan out

[00:21:25] Bholi

[00:21:25] you've got Nisham

[00:21:26] you've got Tarel Mitchell

[00:21:27] you've got quite a

[00:21:28] quite a company on the bus

[00:21:29] yeah all far away from them

[00:21:31] I see them

[00:21:31] you know

[00:21:32] every hour every day

[00:21:33] so I don't sit next to them

[00:21:34] on the bus

[00:21:35] I used to have my own seat

[00:21:37] but I'm accommodating

[00:21:38] the security guard

[00:21:39] on the bus

[00:21:40] he sits next to me

[00:21:40] deepak

[00:21:41] if you're listening

[00:21:41] hey buddy

[00:21:42] he fell asleep on my shoulder

[00:21:45] a week or so ago

[00:21:46] and I didn't know what to do

[00:21:47] so

[00:21:49] yeah

[00:21:50] I've got a good seat

[00:21:52] but the headphones are

[00:21:53] definitely packed

[00:21:54] and fully charged

[00:21:55] on every journey

[00:21:57] and what sort of music

[00:21:57] do you guys like

[00:21:58] what's your type of music

[00:21:59] Bholi

[00:22:00] I listen to anything

[00:22:01] from

[00:22:03] very

[00:22:05] aggressive hip hop

[00:22:06] to

[00:22:08] yeah

[00:22:08] anything classical

[00:22:09] any rock

[00:22:09] any pop

[00:22:10] anything

[00:22:11] yeah

[00:22:11] I'm pretty easily pleased

[00:22:13] what we've got Josie

[00:22:14] actually

[00:22:15] if I could plug him

[00:22:16] tremendous voice

[00:22:17] if we

[00:22:18] were lucky enough

[00:22:19] to maybe hear a song

[00:22:20] or two from him

[00:22:21] maybe

[00:22:21] I heard him

[00:22:22] to the other

[00:22:23] the team room

[00:22:23] it was

[00:22:24] it was good fun

[00:22:24] Jos

[00:22:24] are you

[00:22:25] don't tell me

[00:22:26] you listen

[00:22:26] listen to romantic stuff

[00:22:27] going on the way

[00:22:28] no no romance

[00:22:29] I'm actually

[00:22:30] Bholi's Spotify

[00:22:31] he's got a few playlists

[00:22:32] so I started following him

[00:22:33] but

[00:22:34] luckily he doesn't charge

[00:22:35] Jack

[00:22:35] so I'm sure he'll be after

[00:22:36] the next few dollars

[00:22:38] so I've got a few of his songs

[00:22:40] some acoustic ones

[00:22:41] they're quite like an acoustic

[00:22:42] right

[00:22:43] it's sort of

[00:22:44] like our jam sessions

[00:22:45] the other night

[00:22:45] so

[00:22:46] are you the

[00:22:47] sometime ago

[00:22:48] when I was at Kings 11

[00:22:49] Marcus Toyness

[00:22:49] had this very

[00:22:50] very interesting way

[00:22:51] of building up into a game

[00:22:52] he put a

[00:22:52] here

[00:22:53] headphone on

[00:22:53] have you seen that

[00:22:55] I say

[00:22:55] he puts the headphones on

[00:22:56] he's got his music

[00:22:57] and he grooves

[00:22:58] into it in the gym

[00:22:58] and he's basically

[00:22:59] getting himself ready for the game

[00:23:01] are you guys

[00:23:02] any one of those

[00:23:02] who are like the Rambo

[00:23:03] Rambo version of

[00:23:05] cricket

[00:23:05] if I did that

[00:23:06] certainly wouldn't be doing it in the gym

[00:23:07] I think it'd be

[00:23:08] doing this

[00:23:09] in my own bathroom

[00:23:10] but

[00:23:11] no it usually takes

[00:23:12] a couple of beers

[00:23:13] to get me

[00:23:14] get me singing

[00:23:15] and then

[00:23:15] that did turn into

[00:23:16] a bit more relaxed

[00:23:17] and a bit more

[00:23:18] outspoken

[00:23:20] right

[00:23:20] now it's more

[00:23:21] it's time to

[00:23:21] move on to Sanju

[00:23:22] Sanju

[00:23:22] what sort of music

[00:23:24] what are you doing in the bus

[00:23:25] in the bus

[00:23:27] actually I'm traveling

[00:23:27] in a car

[00:23:28] right now

[00:23:29] with my best sword back

[00:23:30] yeah, captain's get a car

[00:23:31] yeah

[00:23:31] sure

[00:23:32] so I think in the

[00:23:34] I just like to look out

[00:23:35] I think I don't

[00:23:36] at times I do

[00:23:37] very rarely I listen to songs

[00:23:39] but normally I just like to

[00:23:40] look out

[00:23:41] be in my own thoughts

[00:23:42] look at the driver

[00:23:43] talk to the driver

[00:23:44] I think it's

[00:23:47] goes on

[00:23:48] like that I think and then

[00:23:50] talking about music

[00:23:51] I listen to almost everything

[00:23:53] I think almost every

[00:23:54] language also

[00:23:55] like Hindi, English

[00:23:56] Punjabi

[00:23:57] Malayalam, Tamil

[00:23:58] like

[00:23:59] I love listening a lot of songs

[00:24:00] so I think yeah

[00:24:02] interesting

[00:24:03] so it's power play time

[00:24:04] Joss you're well versed

[00:24:05] with power play

[00:24:06] you know how to go about it

[00:24:07] a few butler scoops

[00:24:08] and a few heaves away

[00:24:10] so what's been the funniest

[00:24:11] on field moment for you

[00:24:12] this season

[00:24:13] is there any funny

[00:24:13] on field moment that you had

[00:24:15] you can think about it

[00:24:16] we'll go to Boothie first

[00:24:16] yeah

[00:24:18] immediately thought of myself

[00:24:19] as I do

[00:24:20] funniest moment would have been

[00:24:22] when I bowled the ball

[00:24:24] second or through over

[00:24:25] and it rolled to proceed

[00:24:26] at mid on

[00:24:28] and he picked up

[00:24:29] and threw it straight

[00:24:29] to my right ankle

[00:24:31] fell over

[00:24:32] and I turned around

[00:24:33] and saw literally everyone laughing

[00:24:34] except for you

[00:24:35] you were laughing

[00:24:36] but I don't know how

[00:24:37] they happened or why they happened

[00:24:38] but I'm obviously glad

[00:24:39] didn't have been the head

[00:24:40] or somewhere more serious

[00:24:41] this you that Boothie

[00:24:43] said was about Sanju

[00:24:44] Sanju why didn't you laugh

[00:24:46] yeah I was worried about him

[00:24:49] I'll tell you why he was worried

[00:24:50] it was the power play time

[00:24:52] and he knew he was struggling

[00:24:53] for overs

[00:24:54] and if Boothie walked off

[00:24:55] he was in a soup

[00:24:58] OK Joss, are you ready with your

[00:24:59] yeah I think I'm actually

[00:25:00] going to I think Boothie is just

[00:25:02] such a like good man to watch

[00:25:04] even in the part

[00:25:04] he sometimes he's getting padded up

[00:25:06] for us while we're still in the power play

[00:25:09] I don't want to be rushed

[00:25:11] yeah he's quite a nervous character

[00:25:13] around his batting

[00:25:14] even you know

[00:25:14] even though he's got so much talent

[00:25:15] as he showed the other day

[00:25:17] but just listening to some of

[00:25:18] the shadow batting

[00:25:19] or the sounds that he's coming out

[00:25:21] with I'm sure if you watch him closely

[00:25:24] no well he is out there

[00:25:25] there's some interesting

[00:25:27] shadow batting going on

[00:25:28] or some good calls

[00:25:29] so I think Boothie's been

[00:25:31] will be of the

[00:25:32] when you say power play

[00:25:33] especially yeah

[00:25:34] you're the highlight of my trip

[00:25:36] like the other day he came out

[00:25:37] padded up to the dugout

[00:25:38] I was waiting to go in next

[00:25:40] and he came in and said

[00:25:41] I think you're hitting the ball

[00:25:42] well you go ahead of me

[00:25:47] Sanju your best

[00:25:48] more on field funny moment

[00:25:50] there has been many

[00:25:51] the best one is I think

[00:25:52] just one which I told you

[00:25:53] about McCoy

[00:25:54] I think the best one

[00:25:55] I think which was the funniest

[00:25:56] but are you going to reveal what it is

[00:25:58] no it's a

[00:25:59] beep beep beep

[00:26:00] yeah the beep

[00:26:01] we've got editors

[00:26:02] enough guys doing the job

[00:26:03] I am too humble for that

[00:26:07] right

[00:26:08] one one incredibly

[00:26:10] good moment

[00:26:11] like a feel good moment on the field

[00:26:12] where you

[00:26:13] where it was you or the team

[00:26:14] or anything

[00:26:15] and

[00:26:16] Joss you had quite a few

[00:26:17] I think we'll start with you

[00:26:18] yeah I'm gonna say

[00:26:18] use these hat trick

[00:26:20] I thought that was

[00:26:21] yeah you don't often see hat tricks

[00:26:23] and I think especially

[00:26:24] at that time of the game

[00:26:25] it was obviously a brilliant game

[00:26:26] of cricket actually one of the

[00:26:27] favourite games

[00:26:28] I've been involved in

[00:26:30] high scoring

[00:26:30] it sort of had everything

[00:26:32] personally I did well

[00:26:33] and I'd been for

[00:26:35] you know a time of great pressure

[00:26:36] for Yuzi to take that hat trick

[00:26:38] and really win the game

[00:26:39] for us that was awesome

[00:26:40] Bouldy yourself

[00:26:41] I think same game

[00:26:43] over McCoy

[00:26:44] the contribution he made

[00:26:45] to seal the game

[00:26:47] you know the guys

[00:26:47] worked incredibly hard

[00:26:49] in his debut game

[00:26:50] and then finished it

[00:26:51] with the trademark

[00:26:52] celebration

[00:26:53] the push-per celebration

[00:26:54] yeah

[00:26:55] it was good to see

[00:26:56] so yeah pretty hot warming

[00:26:57] moment I thought

[00:26:58] Sanju

[00:26:59] same game

[00:27:00] same game

[00:27:00] to be very honest

[00:27:01] same game

[00:27:01] I was thinking the same game

[00:27:03] but after we won

[00:27:04] actually after we won

[00:27:05] I went into

[00:27:06] to do the dressing room

[00:27:07] normally I'm just still doubt

[00:27:08] but I think I could

[00:27:10] listen myself

[00:27:11] I think I was very pumped up

[00:27:12] and I was so angry

[00:27:13] I think I wanted to

[00:27:15] really win that game

[00:27:16] so I was very happy

[00:27:16] that we did actually

[00:27:17] it was a very

[00:27:18] one of the best games

[00:27:19] we have played in the Royal JSC

[00:27:21] so can we put that

[00:27:22] as the best win

[00:27:23] of the season from your side

[00:27:25] yeah

[00:27:25] Joss yourself

[00:27:26] the best win of the season

[00:27:27] yeah I'm with you

[00:27:28] the KK again

[00:27:29] alright nice

[00:27:30] yours Boalti

[00:27:31] what happened in the food game

[00:27:33] Pune

[00:27:34] Pune

[00:27:35] I thought that was a great start

[00:27:36] a clinical game

[00:27:37] yeah it was a clinical game

[00:27:38] new team

[00:27:39] you know

[00:27:40] just understanding

[00:27:41] how everyone wants to roll

[00:27:43] and I thought we did well

[00:27:44] and got the tournament

[00:27:45] off for a good start

[00:27:46] generally we have music

[00:27:47] while coming back

[00:27:48] from games right

[00:27:49] like when we had wins

[00:27:50] we have like loud music

[00:27:52] when we've lost

[00:27:53] sometimes there is sober music

[00:27:54] or sometimes there's no music at all

[00:27:55] and

[00:27:56] which is the worst song

[00:27:57] that's been played on the bus Boalti

[00:28:01] I couldn't tell you the artist

[00:28:02] or who

[00:28:03] you don't have to

[00:28:04] you can just say who played it

[00:28:06] oh Yeggy

[00:28:06] as soon as he gets a hold

[00:28:07] same Yeggy

[00:28:08] yeah

[00:28:08] as soon as he gets a hold

[00:28:09] of that little speaker

[00:28:10] you just

[00:28:10] full chip songs

[00:28:11] oh yeah I want to jump off the bus

[00:28:14] seriously

[00:28:15] so the feeling coach

[00:28:16] Deshanti Agnick

[00:28:17] that's a message for you

[00:28:18] hopefully you don't

[00:28:18] control the speaker anymore

[00:28:19] Joss what about you

[00:28:20] we got him some of those headphones as well

[00:28:22] what about you

[00:28:22] what about you

[00:28:23] I thought I had some spice girls

[00:28:25] at one point

[00:28:25] from Darrell Mitchell

[00:28:26] so

[00:28:27] I have to say I secretly did really enjoy it

[00:28:30] but

[00:28:32] we can edit that out

[00:28:34] but now Hetty and Rian

[00:28:36] they're not shy

[00:28:37] we're just cruising around with the speakers on

[00:28:39] and

[00:28:40] yeah I like the way Hetty

[00:28:41] just sort of wears it

[00:28:42] like a

[00:28:42] sort of man bag as well

[00:28:45] he dominates that speaker

[00:28:47] Sanju

[00:28:48] yeah same as Boalti

[00:28:49] I think Deshanti Agnick needs to

[00:28:52] just get out of that bus sometimes

[00:28:55] okay we've spoken enough about analytics

[00:28:57] we've spoken enough about match day

[00:28:59] a very integral part of

[00:29:00] pre-match day

[00:29:01] and match day is the coach of the team

[00:29:03] Sangakara right

[00:29:05] one of those games

[00:29:06] he walked out

[00:29:07] during the time out

[00:29:08] strategic time out

[00:29:09] and he was angry

[00:29:10] like angry means I have not seen a coach

[00:29:12] angry like that ever in

[00:29:14] all these years of experience

[00:29:15] and he was angry

[00:29:17] and

[00:29:18] why?

[00:29:19] he wasn't

[00:29:20] he was angry

[00:29:21] and he was angry

[00:29:22] and I thought he was going to give it to someone

[00:29:23] and he said

[00:29:24] you

[00:29:25] Boalti what is your strength

[00:29:28] that didn't make sense

[00:29:30] he's very angry

[00:29:31] I thought he was going to like dish it out

[00:29:32] and then he said

[00:29:33] gonna stick to your plan

[00:29:34] and he just masked his anger I felt

[00:29:36] so as a captain

[00:29:37] have you found like Sangakara was about to burst

[00:29:40] and then held himself back

[00:29:41] as it happened during the season

[00:29:43] many times

[00:29:46] yes I think it's very

[00:29:48] it's very normal actually

[00:29:49] I think same has happened to me also

[00:29:51] I think it's very normal to see

[00:29:53] emotions go up and down

[00:29:54] I think Sangakara has been a

[00:29:56] great coach to be with actually

[00:29:58] I think we both are learning from each other

[00:30:00] actually both are a bit different

[00:30:01] I feel I think he is a bit

[00:30:03] to

[00:30:05] he spends a lot of time thinking about the game

[00:30:07] looking at the videos

[00:30:08] the analyst part

[00:30:09] data part

[00:30:10] everything part

[00:30:11] but I am someone different

[00:30:12] so I think we both have been complimenting

[00:30:14] each other at times

[00:30:15] at times we don't

[00:30:16] we actually are okay also

[00:30:18] having some disagreements also

[00:30:20] I think yes it has been going well I feel

[00:30:22] agreeing to disagree is a very

[00:30:24] famous line quoted by

[00:30:26] management gurus

[00:30:28] I am not bringing management here

[00:30:29] Joss what about you

[00:30:30] have you seen Sanga in any

[00:30:31] you are a part of the decision making in the team

[00:30:33] you are part of many meetings

[00:30:35] you are part of many many many meetings

[00:30:37] and how do you find Sanga

[00:30:39] is he bursting out with anger sometimes

[00:30:42] sometimes I think sometimes I look at him

[00:30:44] and think this guy could probably talk underwater

[00:30:46] he can talk so much

[00:30:48] but I think he

[00:30:50] you know he has got some great value to

[00:30:52] that he shares

[00:30:53] I think obviously when you are such a great player

[00:30:55] as he was in his own right

[00:30:57] I am sure at times he is sat there watching us

[00:30:59] thinking what are these idiots doing

[00:31:01] but probably the toughest place to be

[00:31:03] is at long off

[00:31:04] when you are near our dugout

[00:31:06] and Mali will come up

[00:31:08] and Sanga will run over and say something

[00:31:10] then Darrell will come up and say

[00:31:12] Sanga is coming to tell me this

[00:31:14] and I just sort of

[00:31:16] wave frantically at Sanga to try and get

[00:31:18] moved somewhere else

[00:31:20] oh is that why you do that

[00:31:22] I thought you were trying to advise him

[00:31:24] just to help

[00:31:25] can I come up for a ball

[00:31:27] no Sanga has been great

[00:31:29] I think there has been a couple of real key nuggets

[00:31:32] that I have taken on board for my own game

[00:31:34] just listening to him talking about batting

[00:31:36] and I think it has been

[00:31:39] again like Sanga it is really interesting

[00:31:41] getting to know him even better

[00:31:43] and the detail

[00:31:45] the way he goes like you say

[00:31:47] from both is that calm

[00:31:49] methodical side

[00:31:51] and then the passionate

[00:31:53] which you always get from

[00:31:55] when I played against Sri Lanka

[00:31:57] you could feel that coming through

[00:31:59] from the way he played the game

[00:32:01] it has been great to get to know him better

[00:32:03] I heard one of the greatest cricketers

[00:32:05] that I have played the game with

[00:32:07] that it is easier to be a cricketer

[00:32:09] and become a coach

[00:32:11] and almost feel like you cannot control anything here

[00:32:13] and I am sure being a coach

[00:32:15] giving a bit of empathy to the coach

[00:32:17] is sometimes very important

[00:32:19] because I can put myself in that shoes

[00:32:21] and think I would be absolutely a disaster here

[00:32:23] and

[00:32:25] Bholty that is why the question is coming to you now

[00:32:27] how do you find the Bholers meetings

[00:32:29] how are your interactions with Sanga

[00:32:31] I understand what you are saying Ash

[00:32:33] a guy of his quality

[00:32:35] would obviously like to be out there

[00:32:37] rather than moving players

[00:32:39] around on a piece of paper on the sideline

[00:32:41] but the Bholing meetings have been long

[00:32:43] would be the first word that comes to my mind

[00:32:45] very in depth

[00:32:47] and then you are dealing with Malinga

[00:32:49] who is a quality Bholer

[00:32:51] very experienced and had his very unique way

[00:32:53] of

[00:32:55] Bholing and approaching it

[00:32:57] it has been a good challenge

[00:32:59] and there have been some good learnings as well

[00:33:01] but it has been a special group

[00:33:03] to be a part of

[00:33:05] and I quickly realised that Kuma

[00:33:07] thought that I might be a better batsman

[00:33:09] than what he thinks

[00:33:11] but

[00:33:13] an example of that was probably the third or fourth game

[00:33:15] I was padded up and he came over to me and said

[00:33:17] you are a next

[00:33:19] if you go out there and work the ones

[00:33:21] and back of the length push it here

[00:33:23] and look to cut and come back and rotate it around here

[00:33:25] I thought man like

[00:33:27] I just quickly stopped him and said

[00:33:29] if I hit this thing

[00:33:31] I am going to be happy so

[00:33:33] let's just keep it very simple here

[00:33:35] and he kind of laughed and said why you go

[00:33:37] it has been good fun

[00:33:39] personally watching you bad I think you are setting low standards for yourself

[00:33:41] for the kind of ability you have got

[00:33:43] I haven't seen many better ball strikers

[00:33:45] than what I saw the other day at CCI

[00:33:47] anyway keeping that aside

[00:33:49] I think benchmarks and excellence

[00:33:51] can be a very tough journey

[00:33:53] and I think we at the Royals, Rajasthan Royals

[00:33:55] this year have embarked on a very special journey

[00:33:57] that is our

[00:33:59] rap on this particular episode of the Royals

[00:34:01] podcast

[00:34:03] everybody is cheering on and Sanju is extremely happy

[00:34:05] the parting word from the captain

[00:34:07] anything

[00:34:09] that is our rap on this particular episode

[00:34:11] thank you for joining us

[00:34:13] and once again if you are free

[00:34:15] latch on to Spotify and listen to the Royals podcast

[00:34:17] thank you
