[00:00:02] Ascereldrov, White & Toys and Analyndive Gabriel, A couple of years ago, welcome to the corner of the Hector, Amogh Ranadive.

[00:00:18] We're back after 2 weeks and that is possibly one of the best ways to start an episode.

[00:00:26] That is, what are we can, what are we can for us to make a comeback? What a weekend for me to come back.

[00:00:32] Yeah, that's true. It was like I was really worried that the start to the Premier League was feeling a little bland to be honest compared to like say previous seasons.

[00:00:43] And then I'm like, oh, finally we have the weekend that we deserve.

[00:00:48] Absolutely. Absolutely.

[00:00:50] Joy, full of good results and full of drama, super drama.

[00:00:54] Absolutely amazing drama and we'll get stuck into all of that as the episode progresses but before we begin, I just like to say bonjour, no motherfuckers.

[00:01:03] Yes, or bonjour or you know, go and know after noon. I don't know what do you have to do?

[00:01:10] No after noon, no.

[00:01:14] I was wondering if I should wear my Fiorantine Agiosi, yes, I have bought a Fiorantine Agiosi and that may or may not have anything to do with the fact that David DeHair now plays for them.

[00:01:26] But also it has more to do with the fact that you actually went to Europe. Yes, and Italy. Yes, and you're basically Italian now from what I hear absolutely this is a Serie A podcast we're going to be talking about Atlanta.

[00:01:41] At the, truly the Tottenham of.

[00:01:46] How you say how you say English Tottenham?

[00:01:50] Yes, in perfect English one you can say Tottenham. But what's been up? How have you guys been while I was away? What has been going on? Let's just warm up and get into this before we get stuck into the actual football chat, the proper football chat.

[00:02:05] How have I been? I have been actually, believe it or not, missing you.

[00:02:09] I'm trying to talk about football. And you have nobody else to talk about football.

[00:02:15] Literally nobody else.

[00:02:18] Then I look at Akash and I'm like, I'd rather, I would rather, you know what? I would rather hear anybody talk about any other football club.

[00:02:29] Then here, Akash talk about everything.

[00:02:30] I would hear anybody talk about anything. Then there's Akash talk about anything because you know, there's there's a, you know, when you do like narcotics and drugs.

[00:02:46] Which you shouldn't, we don't either because we don't do that shit.

[00:02:50] And it's not even us coolly trying to be like, oh, we don't do it. I'm like, yeah, we actually don't do shit.

[00:02:56] We don't do shit. Yeah, we have good boys.

[00:03:00] But you know how you have a person down there, right? Like Akash is as much over down or as anything else can be.

[00:03:08] You speak to Akash and suddenly you're like, yeah, life is pointless guys. There is nothing to look forward to.

[00:03:15] And then you realize, but I'm not even an everton fan. So I feel like, yeah, that's what he's like, yeah, yeah.

[00:03:23] And it's just like, you'll hate not just everything of football, you'll hate walk out hating life in general.

[00:03:29] Yes, yes, so how? So basically if you have anybody in your life who's too happy and that annoys you, let us know and we will organize a meeting with Akash,

[00:03:39] and then for that lucky person. And while most while most YouTubers are in podcast,

[00:03:44] and content creators do giveaways of sign jerseys, this is the giveaway that we do in the corner of like giveaway and experience.

[00:03:52] We are an experiential podcast case.

[00:03:56] But yes, good to be back. Let's start off with a big one. Of course, Manchester City to Arsenal to is it too early to say that Arsenal have bottled the title yet.

[00:04:07] Five weeks in, is it too early? It not at all. You can make a prediction. I feel like Arsenal have bottled an extra trophy. That's the prediction I make that basis, this results.

[00:04:18] But no, I thought what an excellently stupid game I loved watching everything.

[00:04:22] It was for the new toles, it was like Williams versus Predator, no matter what happens. We lose.

[00:04:29] But no, it was actually a full props to Arsenal because after going one will down in the ninth minute, thanks to that man again,

[00:04:37] the fucker just cannot stop scoring, which is great because he's my captain in my SPL so well done.

[00:04:45] Arsenal did manage to come back really well, you know, a great goal from Calafiore to open his Arsenal account on debut as well.

[00:04:54] My competitors are the Calafiore.

[00:04:58] And then, we all get in a lovely header into make it too.

[00:05:01] I know, Arsenal is scoring corners like that penalty man. They really made the very made corners,

[00:05:13] they just absolutely nailed them and that fight, that fighting spirit is there.

[00:05:20] And this look like a team that was not afraid to go toe to toe with possibly the best team in Europe right now, in their hope.

[00:05:28] And you would think after last season, the Arsenal are the only other team and no disrespect to Liverpool, having very, very serious here.

[00:05:36] Liverpool don't look like that team anymore. Another thing to drop is gone.

[00:05:40] Arsenal do seem like the new rivals that that man city have.

[00:05:43] And there was no sense of, oh, we're going to play a different game. We're going to be played to their strengths at least as the game started, of course, what happened later on in the second half was completely different.

[00:05:57] But let's go back to the first goal and which was kind of your easy goal.

[00:06:01] Bit of controversy happening there.

[00:06:03] First goal was, oh, you're saying, okay, you're saying, okay, I'm sorry.

[00:06:10] But what do you think? Okay, of course, we know, I'm highly to a great in the link up to that goal. But do you think, say, Gabriel and Farabakh would have done better?

[00:06:21] I did think that. It just seems criminal that what is widely regarded and by widely regarded, I mean, by Arsenal fans to be the best center half partnership in the premier league this season with being Saliba and Gabrielle.

[00:06:34] Gave early in holiday. So much space between them to run that chapter. I thought that was really, really criminal. Now the only alternative to that that I can think of is that if either of those two defenders were very tight to Holland, one touch would have taken them out again.

[00:06:54] If they keep that distance as they did, they had a little bit more chance of catching up and muscleing them off the ball. But it just seemed like it was not the best type of defending that one would expect from those two center defenders.

[00:07:11] And again, that's how like the margin for error is is so small, right? Like it's not like they're bad defenders. It's not like that one moment was typically outre just defending like it's not.

[00:07:23] I'm being hairy, Maguire levels of defending. It's still they did everything they could but we still hear the break.

[00:07:30] And not even a bar for United, like they've actually gotten better and they haven't proved. They have a blocking mark.

[00:07:36] Yes, yes, and we'll get to that. That's how small the margins are.

[00:07:43] But enough said about that because who gives a fuck about Holland school? That's the same old story every fucking game.

[00:07:50] I was talking about Calafiori's world because in the build up to that goal, it was Kyle Walker who was summoned by the referee and he was out of position when Arsenal played that pass to Gabrielle Martin L. on the left flank and Walker then had to make up a lot of space to run back and get into position and that led to the goal. And he was obviously very, very furious about that.

[00:08:10] Yeah, I rarely ever find myself agreeing with Nancy.

[00:08:19] But I feel like I feel like there have been probably a game like eight seconds.

[00:08:25] I think there are no gaps in what it's taken to be between nothing but I feel like you're expecting him the player to run back full print to sprint to his position and then continue sprinting anyway.

[00:08:36] So it's about expecting about 30 seconds of sprinting for the player, which I don't know like it. I feel like it on those things that I think the referee heard a little harshly on Kyle Walker.

[00:08:50] Yeah, where he gave him much lesser time than from the player like he and because he's also the captain right so he needs to also need to sign our instructions, composants have checked the formation.

[00:09:01] But I think I think the beauty of Kyle pure is going just made up for the reasons of injustice because you I have heard that Kyle, Kyle, he is a goal scoring defender that he's known to be the one.

[00:09:16] He was supposed to be in a way as soon as answer to Trent in that if Trent gives you assist, his guy actually scores the goals like so I thought wow, like because he got fully punished by Savi, no for showing the little bit of space.

[00:09:31] And I was like, oh my god, this guy is not ready for the Premier League. So then I'm like offensively in his court that goal and I was like, oh my god, the Premier League is not ready for him.

[00:09:41] How have I felt both things?

[00:09:43] No way, he also genuinely good looking defender like he's a proper Italian good looking defender you know what I mean.

[00:09:53] But yeah, I'm okay. You would know better now.

[00:09:54] I would know better. You will know what good looking defender Italian defender is. I tell you, I tell you the secret is when you're growing up in my home country.

[00:10:04] You grow up on a diet of lovely olive oil and especially big bread. And that does make a big difference to your looks as is scientifically proven. Don't court me, you know.

[00:10:20] As you do, you grew up idealizing my deen. Yeah, I like why doesn't it look like I was in the world. So does it doesn't call if you're really local lot like my deen.

[00:10:31] And it's probably just because of the long hair in the hair bank. Yeah, that's enough to make a stereotype.

[00:10:39] And as as a 90s kid who started watching European football in the late 90s or you 2000s, I am so happy that players are coming back with just the just the simple long hair and hair bank.

[00:10:51] We look like I am ballers. I'm tired of this fucking jack-cree-lish haircut. I'm tired of the, you know, I'm tired of the, I don't have to steal your tie, but I'm tired of the Arab boy haircut. Yes. Oh my god. Yes. Like, Gen Z footballers need to buck their game up.

[00:11:21] Obviously, very very upset about refreeing in general with man City fans being upset about that one thing. But Arsenal fans, overall I think were upset about the refreeing decisions.

[00:11:34] First case and point of course was the two yellows to Leandro Croci. First yellow for tugging of the shirt, the second yellow for kicking the ball away.

[00:11:42] I thought that was really silly on Croci's part. Yeah.

[00:11:46] Because it's already happened to them. This is their second red card or a cumulative red card for such an incident. So, I now, they should know.

[00:11:57] Right. And I don't know what he was thinking you're in such a good position because it forced that one stupid decision forced our data to go from mini-pepp to mini-simiony.

[00:12:13] Yeah. Like, you know, like it really and to make him play some in a style and formation or even the players are don't think Arsenal players are or people who are naturally suited to play around ball.

[00:12:25] Yeah. Who can play these dirty tactics time. It's actually it's like watching the rich kid in your class trying the street.

[00:12:34] Yeah. I suppose that we start speaking to Puri language like bro, it's not for you.

[00:12:39] I mean, the rich kid trying to be street is weird because they wear tone clothes from Balenciaga and the actual street is like bro, my dad actually put a work on it.

[00:12:50] What are you doing, people?

[00:12:51] Yeah. This week and I recently heard a South Indian try to be like, are you open cast style?

[00:12:57] Oh bro, that's like, dad, that's where we was how watching Arsenal and the players play that dirty football that way.

[00:13:08] Yeah.

[00:13:09] But on that, what do you think? Because they look, they were down to ten men and they had to play a low block like a very, very low block.

[00:13:14] That was the deepest block there.

[00:13:17] There they were ever been. And it looked like they were going to get away with it or they were going to use that to their advantage.

[00:13:24] But we've seen Mourinho do that all his life.

[00:13:27] Like that has been the hallmark of Jose Mourinho's career and everybody has lambaste, my God.

[00:13:33] He's such a f*** all manageries, the master of the dark arts.

[00:13:36] But at the same time an architect has doing it. Oh, it's a tactical master of class against Manchester City.

[00:13:41] What a guy. He's the best man in the world.

[00:13:43] Yeah, exactly.

[00:13:46] So you know, just a little bit of a reality check for Arsenal fans over there.

[00:13:49] Like, it's not a big thing to find me.

[00:13:53] It's a complete scum, it's please.

[00:13:56] But yeah, so it was really stupid that Rosar had got himself in that position.

[00:14:00] And especially the second one, when he's kicking the ball away, the whistle goes and he kicks the ball away.

[00:14:07] And he turns around and he looks like, but I was playing the ball. What did I do?

[00:14:11] And I'm like, you're in the center circle.

[00:14:13] There's no one here. What are you going to get by booting the ball higher than me?

[00:14:17] You heard the whistle. Just shut up and stop and look back.

[00:14:19] You don't want to argue with the referee who do that.

[00:14:21] But you don't have to kick the ball away.

[00:14:23] And what I don't understand is, okay.

[00:14:25] Like, you know, primarily teams spend so much time in data analytics.

[00:14:31] Like, if you all know this and at every level of the game,

[00:14:36] Right? And you know that, trying to find the small margins at every level.

[00:14:40] But we also know that you also can lose on small margin.

[00:14:43] And how are they not coaching players?

[00:14:46] Please see them when the rules of, in fact, before any transfer's happened, the rule changes happen.

[00:14:51] Yeah.

[00:14:51] I mean, you have a good amount of time to prepare the place with a new rule change.

[00:14:55] Right? Whether it's, whether you get an extra yard in your side.

[00:14:58] Yeah. The line that they drawn, we are, does it give you an extra half a half of foot?

[00:15:04] You know, like, how do you deal with this new, get the ball thing?

[00:15:07] What does it mean to become like, how are they not preparing for this?

[00:15:11] Like, this seems like, by the way, this is a great new content stream for Fritzio Romano.

[00:15:17] By the way, new handball rule here we go.

[00:15:22] So yeah, they really should, should be doing that.

[00:15:25] Or either maybe they do, in the players just don't give a fuck like they, they're not,

[00:15:29] Like football players, let's be honest or not, the smartest people around.

[00:15:32] Like if they were, then they would have regular jobs like us, like, right or whatever.

[00:15:37] But, you use, right or an example of a regular job.

[00:15:43] I mean, compared to footballers, I think, yes.

[00:15:47] No, no, no, no.

[00:15:48] We don't have a regular job.

[00:15:50] We have, in fact, regular jobs are things that may help you make money.

[00:15:54] And have high to your self-worth.

[00:15:56] I'm surprised that we have a job.

[00:15:58] I'm surprised we can call it a job.

[00:16:00] In fact, if anything footballers make money, get families, is that all of that they get?

[00:16:06] But yeah, so they almost did, they almost did get away with the dark arts.

[00:16:11] But it was that, my John Stones in the 98th minute after

[00:16:15] the cover stitches, a temp tone goal was blocked by things.

[00:16:20] John Stones was there to put it in the net to secure a point for Pep Godiona side.

[00:16:26] And this was the second part of what paste of Arsenal fans, because early in the morning

[00:16:30] Hale and after the goal picks up them ball from the net and some back sentence, Gabriel's head.

[00:16:36] Who was basically covering his head with his T-shirt?

[00:16:39] So he didn't realize who hit him if anybody hit him.

[00:16:42] But it was really funny to see.

[00:16:44] Yeah, I swear I've done that when I was in school.

[00:16:48] Like, I remember doing something like this where you did you get warned by the referee or what's it?

[00:16:53] I was 13 with punishment beyond the game.

[00:16:58] You're a record by 30.

[00:17:01] He said, I will cut your marks and match.

[00:17:05] You don't have a jurisdiction beyond this game.

[00:17:09] You can't threaten me with a marks cutting in man.

[00:17:13] You can do it.

[00:17:15] If I asked you to tell you, my score would probably come this out.

[00:17:19] But yeah, so I don't know that was nice to fit.

[00:17:21] But actually, in the wave, eventually happened.

[00:17:25] I think around the 96th minute, Arsenal have an attack.

[00:17:31] Which I think, so Arsenal are clearly playing 5-4 or 6-3.

[00:17:34] That's when the formation for the last 15 minutes.

[00:17:40] I think I have words, get an idea where he's like, I will sprint.

[00:17:44] I'll sprint and I will try to push them.

[00:17:47] Because I think it's that sprint that tires him out.

[00:17:51] If you notice the last two minutes are actually playing, then it was 8.

[00:17:55] And it's an extra man because it's that, and how about an e-c sprint pack much lower,

[00:18:02] which gives me a lot of courage and a lot of space.

[00:18:05] There's a dog who, I'm like, man, you really set up.

[00:18:09] If he didn't make that run, if he just stuck to the lowest of low blocks,

[00:18:13] Arsenal didn't order stretch them.

[00:18:16] And Arsenal were also losing the fight.

[00:18:19] They were running out of ideas.

[00:18:21] You could tell by the end of the game that they were like, we can't do this.

[00:18:24] It looked like they had almost accepted defeat.

[00:18:29] You mean you have both of us are awesome, but we mean city.

[00:18:31] Yeah.

[00:18:33] They were able to stretch Arsenal, which I don't know is great.

[00:18:38] They were awesome, they never got tempted.

[00:18:39] One cowards runs these, he's slow and you give.

[00:18:43] Because if you look at the corner that they finally took,

[00:18:46] until he enters the big D, there's no threat.

[00:18:52] There's no one attacking him even.

[00:18:54] And then it's just like ping pong, pinball and then Jon stones,

[00:18:59] like sticks his foot out.

[00:19:01] I thought that was where Arsenal lost and we kept it cool for so long.

[00:19:04] And I think in the last two minutes, Howard's called some,

[00:19:07] this thing where he's like, if we go attack them on that side, he lost it.

[00:19:12] Haling was also under fire from Arsenal fans because he was caught in a bit of a melee

[00:19:17] with 17 year old Arsenal dead.

[00:19:20] You don't mind Lewis Scally, who was actually in the 65th minute,

[00:19:25] booked by the referee before he even made his previous interview.

[00:19:29] Because on the sidelines, he was seen telling David Raya to take the ball and go down on the ground

[00:19:35] to waste time at every opportunity he had.

[00:19:38] And the referee caught that and went and gave him a yellow card.

[00:19:40] So he's become an instant fan favorite with the Arsenal fans.

[00:19:43] But when this whole Haling hitting the ball on Gabriel's head happened,

[00:19:49] there was a little bit of melee and my Lewis Scally was also involved in that.

[00:19:53] Haling just looked at him and said, who the fuck are you?

[00:19:57] I think he went past our Tata being like, we humble.

[00:20:02] Which I was like, I agree with the general message.

[00:20:06] We're Arsenal and their fans.

[00:20:08] When something before you chat so much, but I was like, saying that to be opposition coach,

[00:20:13] that's not something that is spot calling the catch is very, very black.

[00:20:17] But again, you also as a fan over team, that's what I was like, that's a rival to us.

[00:20:25] You also understand his core sentiment.

[00:20:28] Where are I will to us?

[00:20:30] Thanks man. Who would have thought that but yeah.

[00:20:34] I do.

[00:20:36] I do.

[00:20:39] But we have got them two weeks in a row a few weeks ago.

[00:20:44] I think we were going to be a big, relatively reluctant.

[00:20:46] I've lost a lot.

[00:20:48] But I thought him saying that to the rival coach,

[00:20:52] and then was a bit much.

[00:20:57] I mean, the rivalries or the arguments continued after the final whistle as well.

[00:21:03] But not to silver had a lot of things to say about Arsenal.

[00:21:07] He basically said that only one team came to win this game.

[00:21:12] He was asked about the battles between city and Arsenal and city in Liverpool.

[00:21:18] He said, the difference I don't know, maybe that Liverpool have already won the Premier League Arsenal.

[00:21:22] That Liverpool have won a Champions League Arsenal.

[00:21:25] Liverpool always faced us face to face to try and win the game.

[00:21:28] So by this perspective, the games against Arsenal haven't been like the ones we have had against Liverpool.

[00:21:33] So yes, maybe a different rivalry.

[00:21:35] Shorts fucking fired.

[00:21:37] Also, this is a guy by the way who tweeted from his official public account saying,

[00:21:41] Liverpool fans go get a job of going to a score.

[00:21:45] This is the guy who went, when Liverpool was to give a guard of honour to Liverpool.

[00:21:50] It's not clap.

[00:21:52] This is that guy who has, who was saying,

[00:21:56] we're seeing death upon Liverpool fans.

[00:22:00] And his guy is now saying, like, I missed a good old day.

[00:22:04] But at least they want to win guys.

[00:22:06] You know how pesky our team you have to be.

[00:22:09] Ronaldo Selva took praise Liverpool.

[00:22:12] Some sort of ideas rival.

[00:22:16] Very fantastic.

[00:22:18] From one Manchester ground, let's go to another Manchester team.

[00:22:22] It was a man United played Crystal Palace in South London and ended the game with a fantastic scorelight of Neil.

[00:22:30] Oh my god.

[00:22:32] It's much better football.

[00:22:34] Admittedly, as a United fan, the football is getting better.

[00:22:37] The cohesiveness within the players is getting better.

[00:22:40] Yes, but still not a victory.

[00:22:42] But three clean sheets and three games guys.

[00:22:44] That's where the real title is.

[00:22:47] It is watch out for 24, 2004, 2005, Maurinio Chelsea's here United Cup.

[00:22:56] But I tell you what, I think I need to use this platform that we have to make a public apology.

[00:23:05] I was away for two weeks and in those two weeks, I did not watch Manchester United versus South London, which United 1-3-mil.

[00:23:15] I then did not watch Manchester United versus Banzley in the Karabakh Cup, which United 1-7-mil.

[00:23:20] Then I came back and I had access to hotstar.

[00:23:24] And I said, you know what? This looks like a nice game.

[00:23:27] Let me watch Saturday night, 10pm.

[00:23:30] Crystal Palace versus Manchester United.

[00:23:34] And we ended up with a nail nail.

[00:23:36] So guys, the fault is mine.

[00:23:39] I am the panorthy in this situation.

[00:23:41] The matches that I watch tend to be the matches that we don't get points in or we drop points in.

[00:23:48] So I'm sorry, I'm going to actually start wearing that Fiorentina jersey more regularly and actually start watching Cerea more regularly.

[00:23:55] And while on the subject, I apologize to all Fiorentina fans because shit is going to get very tough for you guys from now on.

[00:24:03] Wow, you are a reason.

[00:24:05] Otherwise when you weren't watching, United was soaring and winning cups and winning champ challenging the title.

[00:24:13] It's only because you started watching that.

[00:24:18] It's only because of me. It is only because of this dude sitting in power in Mumbai that it teams for 1,000 miles away are changing.

[00:24:28] I firmly believe in that.

[00:24:29] But can I ask you a micro-loiners question?

[00:24:32] Of course, I'm always open to micro-loiners questions because they have the best question.

[00:24:36] So where do I actually saw the game?

[00:24:41] Do you think United were lucky to get a point or do you think they dropped to point?

[00:24:45] Because I think they dropped two points.

[00:24:49] You don't think that like Cerea ball is didn't capitalize enough because there's no, so here's the thing.

[00:24:57] Cerea ball is dead have a few chances but they had very few chances.

[00:25:03] United had 70% possession throughout the game.

[00:25:05] They had a lot more chance especially in the first half.

[00:25:07] They had a lot more to do.

[00:25:09] I think if something like 7 or 11 shots on goal and off with 7 or 8 over on target whereas Crystal Palace had 0 and 0.

[00:25:19] So that was the level of domination that United showed in that game.

[00:25:23] And it just could not finish.

[00:25:25] Like Garna Chohit, the post Bruno hit the post Garna Choh missed Bruno missed.

[00:25:30] It was just not working out.

[00:25:32] It's the only thing that's managed to get on the end of a cross couldn't make contact.

[00:25:35] So lots of chances, well United dominated the possession, they controlled the game through our.

[00:25:42] Onanna had nothing to do in the first half, he had very little to do in the second half and whatever little he had to do in the second half man hit it so well because that fucking double save.

[00:25:52] Was probably save of the season.

[00:25:55] Yeah, it was which is why I think that actually.

[00:26:00] It is probably a point earned.

[00:26:02] No, but that's the thing.

[00:26:03] Like a decision team that last season, I think maybe United forn in in the same ground they found out.

[00:26:07] Yeah, they did they did they won both their games against us in the prebleem.

[00:26:11] I remember that forn in a different.

[00:26:14] No, but I think that it's not that Crystal Palace didn't capitalize because.

[00:26:22] They the one clear chance they had was the one that Onanna saved brilliantly and that again is more on Onanna than it is on Crystal Palace because they did everything right.

[00:26:30] There's nothing that they could have done any differently that would have given them a better outcome in that case that was purely the brilliance of the goalkeeper that.

[00:26:39] Crystal Palace did not get on the score sheet in that instance and apart from that, Crystal Palace didn't really have any clear cut chances whereas United had way too many tier cut chances.

[00:26:49] So keeping that in mind it was definitely to point dropped and Palace would be very very happy and very lucky to get that one point.

[00:26:56] And you what do you think of flash for being left out?

[00:26:59] I think it was good rotation honestly because and that's what Tana also said he said that they have to rotate.

[00:27:09] All said in Dungar Nacho has been in better form than Rashod on the left and yes, Rashod got two goals against Banzli but.

[00:27:18] Overall his form hasn't really hit peak form and as Gar Nacho gets full match fitness following his international duties.

[00:27:27] I feel like he is the starter like Rashod is no longer the starter.

[00:27:32] I feel like Tana put out the best team possible. I've always said I want to see Zerksi as the as the center forward in the absence of oiling.

[00:27:40] I want to see Gar Nacho on the left. I want to see Amar Dhond.

[00:27:44] Don't drop either one of those people just to accommodate a misfiring Marcus Rashford.

[00:27:49] It is about time you know.

[00:27:50] I think that's the last two games.

[00:27:54] But that's it like only the last two games.

[00:27:57] That's only but that's only in the last two games and that's it.

[00:28:01] Yeah, but that's against a newly promoted Southampton and a league one Banzli.

[00:28:07] Right. So, but you wouldn't.

[00:28:09] I'm sure Chris is a much better team than they are.

[00:28:12] But they're good into you. Try to write that wave of confidence.

[00:28:18] And as someone who has cold and slightly bigger.

[00:28:21] But Gar Nacho has created more chances and has been a bigger goal threat than Rashford from the start of the season.

[00:28:28] So, purely on that basis he deserves to start over Rashford.

[00:28:31] So I think it was a good team selection. Also when Rashford came on in the second half he did nothing like he was barely there.

[00:28:38] I don't think he got the ball more than five times.

[00:28:43] Fair enough.

[00:28:45] Although what do you make of being a Henderson's revenge?

[00:28:48] What a performance.

[00:28:50] What a performance from Hendo.

[00:28:52] Fantastic stuff.

[00:28:54] Also I Hendo.

[00:28:56] As Clinton Morrison said on the post match show on Hotster he said that Dean Henderson was his hero for the game.

[00:29:05] Yeah, because I thought he was.

[00:29:08] But that always happens.

[00:29:09] You know with the United that always happens. In fact there was conversation on the United supporters of WhatsApp group where

[00:29:13] the lineup so are out or I think just after the lineup so out somebody said, Henderson must class incoming.

[00:29:20] And that always happens. All the explainers always tend to play really well against Panerak.

[00:29:26] It just is the way it goes.

[00:29:29] I do feel like here is it was like clear psychological battles that Henderson was going to be able to see.

[00:29:35] Because he had a lot more to prove.

[00:29:37] Just seem like aside every time they step out they are under some pressure like.

[00:29:41] Like I feel like you know how.

[00:29:43] I mean, it's a statement of two broader statement but I do feel like you know how United is going to play in the first time.

[00:29:49] If they have that confidence if you feel that confidence and their own stupid things you know they probably got a piece of point of the game.

[00:29:56] Whereas if you know it's a jitterly start or the opposition does something big you know.

[00:30:00] The players are going to be lucky if they get out of the point.

[00:30:03] Yeah.

[00:30:04] Henderson just charges new.

[00:30:06] He's like you try to ruin my career.

[00:30:09] Let me show you.

[00:30:11] I mean he was asked in his post matching to be who he was asked by the penalties like you know.

[00:30:17] Such a fantastic performance against your former team does that make the point even sweeter and he said he had no comments but.

[00:30:25] When you say no comments but yeah, you made a comment.

[00:30:30] No I'm very happy for him.

[00:30:32] I think he deserves his accolades because he is genuinely a very good keeper.

[00:30:36] Just wasn't at the level United.

[00:30:38] But I'm glad that he's the number one keeper at a team that is more at his level and he can really really kick on with this career.

[00:30:47] Right.

[00:30:48] Like hearing you talk about it.

[00:30:51] No no access.

[00:30:52] I never had access.

[00:30:54] Right.

[00:30:55] On the other side we talk about Liverpool three nail against bond with the fact that we have to start respecting Chelsea now because they won three nail.

[00:31:02] And some madness between Brighton and notting him for us.

[00:31:06] So you want the other side.

[00:31:11] Welcome back to the corner flag everybody and we begin the second half not with your questions but with Liverpool because

[00:31:17] Mukesh is on the podcast after a very long time and we haven't had any Liverpool representation on here.

[00:31:22] So I thought we should start off the second half and give Liverpool and Mukesh all the time they do to ejaculate their feelings.

[00:31:31] No no there's not much actually for a change.

[00:31:34] I'm just like muted because this season in particular right?

[00:31:39] It's just it's like it was it's tall.

[00:31:44] I don't see it's the holiday season but it's the season where there's no.

[00:31:49] The pleasure is more like hey don't be don't finish it.

[00:31:55] Yeah right.

[00:31:56] It's like because it's a new manager who's not super qualified or tested with none of the players that he never wanted.

[00:32:05] Right. So it's pretty much that season.

[00:32:09] But actually, I mean, enjoying every game so much more now.

[00:32:14] Yeah. The the pressure not being there of the title race or whatever is so refreshing.

[00:32:19] It's so nice to watch.

[00:32:22] It's also the pressure.

[00:32:24] I'm not expecting anything.

[00:32:26] There's no expectations.

[00:32:27] If you tell me yeah, I'll beat him like yeah, maybe they could beat us.

[00:32:31] You could tell me that burn was it take away point.

[00:32:34] But if you tell me actually, you know, you guys will end up crashing asking for nail.

[00:32:37] Yeah, maybe that's also possible.

[00:32:39] I'm like I'm open every possible because I think with clock the problem was the first half of his tenure had such high expectations that anything less than anything less than a title or a champion's league.

[00:32:50] Like a season that wasn't good enough.

[00:32:53] But it's now it's like there's no expectations.

[00:32:54] So it's very good. And I'm also I do understand that I think our pictures, you know, including United have been relatively easy.

[00:33:04] Yeah, we've seen lost. I think to not take them for us.

[00:33:07] Yeah, that was the previous game we could get because that was the one thing I did.

[00:33:12] It's a hot tonight or a one this strike but still, it was still a loss.

[00:33:15] So yeah, I think I'm good is very happy. It was a great game. It was so nice.

[00:33:20] I mean, three in a love within 40 minutes. I think as a job well done.

[00:33:23] Yeah, and with a Darwin known as

[00:33:29] Such a beautiful goes now that I don't know how to make up my mind about it.

[00:33:33] I feel like his job is not to be a great strike or his job is to make me wonder whether he should be in the team or not.

[00:33:39] Like he just wants to create that.

[00:33:41] He's chaos theory.

[00:33:43] He's cool.

[00:33:44] I'm not able to make up my mind about him.

[00:33:47] He's irritating me about it.

[00:33:48] You think that is you think that is the team talk that Arunas Lot gives him every creating session and before every match.

[00:33:53] You need to make Mukesh Manjuna think.

[00:33:56] Yeah, he's like there are bastards in Mumbai who are doubting you.

[00:33:59] No, no, no, no, this is like he's like, he's like, should I make them believe us?

[00:34:02] Make them not know what they should think.

[00:34:05] Yeah, absolutely.

[00:34:06] But Luis Dia has got the other two goals or the first two goals.

[00:34:10] What the fuck was Kappa doing for that first goal?

[00:34:14] I mean, first let's start with preaching.

[00:34:15] The thing Konaatu is ball that.

[00:34:17] Yeah, that's the thing of like that was I was like, why did that come from?

[00:34:22] Like you know, it's like, I was like, wow, this guy can, I mean, I know you could defend but that is a task like,

[00:34:29] Yeah, it was someone who I was not expecting to play so well, I mean, surely you are really really really really.

[00:34:35] But then Kappa being Kappa.

[00:34:38] I mean, it made no sense for him to come out for the ball because Diaz was always going to get to it first.

[00:34:43] And if he just holds his line, then he has two defenders who are taking care of Diaz as back up.

[00:34:49] They were able to get a case of being in no man's land.

[00:34:52] Yeah, they're really clearly the defenders land.

[00:34:54] When they were there in that line, but I also wanted to be part of this because

[00:34:59] Can I be a little literary at this point?

[00:35:01] Yes, please do.

[00:35:03] You know Sadat Hassan Mantho.

[00:35:05] One of my favorite short stories of his is Toba Thick.

[00:35:08] Yes, right, you've read Toba Thick.

[00:35:11] I feel like Kappa was Toba Thick.

[00:35:16] Because he wanted to go into no man's land.

[00:35:19] But he wanted it, please tell them what Toba Thick's name is.

[00:35:22] Toba Thick's name is a fantastic short story by Yachtar Sadat Hassan Mantho,

[00:35:26] which is based around the partition time when Indian Pakistan were separated

[00:35:30] and lots of people lost their lives, lots of people were throwed into jails.

[00:35:34] It was chaos all around and the story focuses on just one gentleman,

[00:35:39] this one said that, old Sardar Toba Thick's name.

[00:35:42] Who is crazy, right? He keeps mumbling things

[00:35:46] and through his mumbling, we realize how painful partition has been for him

[00:35:51] because his home was in Pakistan and now he's been forced to go to India

[00:35:56] and he keeps jumbling up words from different regions

[00:36:00] and that's about it.

[00:36:02] I think the story ends with him going to the line of control

[00:36:06] to no man's land essentially and saying, this is my home.

[00:36:10] It's neither India nor Pakistan, which was very poignant.

[00:36:14] So yes, thank you for making a literary joke, very serious, okay?

[00:36:20] I mean, you went to Italy and look at you before you were like,

[00:36:23] what about Sardat Hassan Mantho and the end of partition is encapsulated.

[00:36:29] I would like to thank Kappa for this because at up until this point no footballer ever gave me the opportunity to make that reference

[00:36:36] and Kappa beautifully did, so right on Kappa, he did one thing right in this weekend.

[00:36:42] But also now that we've done hitting on him,

[00:36:45] teach you know who's the top scorer for the league to laugh?

[00:36:49] It's obviously halin, yeah.

[00:36:51] You know it's second in place is Lewis D.S.

[00:36:53] He's fired five obviously but it's like the distance is huge, like I think.

[00:36:57] In the first five being halin has ten goals.

[00:37:05] And second in place is Lewis D.S. at five.

[00:37:09] Wow, yeah, that is about how I did not see that coming ever because I was so sure Lewis D.S.

[00:37:14] it'd go way too different than to your degree.

[00:37:16] You think most halas feeling jealous like how he was jealous of Sardat Hassan Mantho?

[00:37:20] I do think so because I think Lewis D.S. is a total value of goals last season was eat.

[00:37:28] And he's already at five in September, right in a minute more than a month.

[00:37:33] Like five games, five goals that's like a complete fantastic stuff.

[00:37:38] Let's go over to London because it was the East West London, the West Ham versus Chelsea West Ham,

[00:37:43] and the Chelsea three Nicholas Jackson getting the scoring under way in the third minute.

[00:37:49] Lots of people talking about how it was a Jaden Sancho assist.

[00:37:52] He has followed his form again, could hit me, what else?

[00:37:55] I think it's a simple past play. After that, to the ball, Nico Jackson.

[00:37:59] But, you don't need to tell me.

[00:38:00] Yeah, not I'm not better.

[00:38:03] It's a spurned level who cares about Jaden Sancho.

[00:38:08] No, but Chelsea are now fifth.

[00:38:09] There are only three points away from the league. He does Manchester City.

[00:38:13] Do we have to start respecting Chelsea now?

[00:38:15] Do we have to start respecting Nico Jackson now?

[00:38:18] I mean, come on thought, Bowley and Chelsea, think about content creators like us.

[00:38:21] Why are you taking our jokes away from us?

[00:38:25] I know, I think Chelsea are finally demanding respect.

[00:38:30] And I do think it takes a special kind of genius to spend one billion and demand respect for being in fifth place.

[00:38:39] Shut down the content machine guys.

[00:38:42] But, Billy and Dollars and Thirteen year contracts lead to Chelsea are a respectable fifth.

[00:38:48] They can still make it to Europa.

[00:38:51] But, no fantastic stuff when Nico Jackson got the second goal as well.

[00:38:56] They look good like to be very, very honest.

[00:38:59] And I've been talking to the United fans about this as well.

[00:39:02] There's a style differently as to how Chelsea and how you night are playing.

[00:39:05] Of course, I wouldn't want to the Chelsea situation at United because that is a basket case of a situation with the owners and the numbers players that they have and how they run things over it.

[00:39:14] But, Chelsea really, really fast attacking eye catching football.

[00:39:20] They're very, very quick on the break. They are all action all the time united on the other hand under 10th.

[00:39:26] It's very clear what the plan is to keep control.

[00:39:29] Place low but keep control. The ball has to stay with you.

[00:39:32] You have to control the game and that is pretty much the philosophy that 10th has.

[00:39:36] But it is just, punkers front to watch Chelsea as a neutral man because anything can happen.

[00:39:42] They can win 3-0, they can lose 5-0.

[00:39:45] They can have a 5-5-barn burner. Anything can happen.

[00:39:51] And this is against teams like not taking part as bond with an imp switch.

[00:39:55] These guidelines can happen.

[00:39:57] I have a controversial take which is, which is that I actually think that Chelsea will actually this good even last season but they just didn't have someone to finish.

[00:40:06] And actually it's the first time, not for some reason.

[00:40:09] I think the first time in a while, where they found goals.

[00:40:12] Even under the patch, they were having the XG, they were having the build up of the just good finish.

[00:40:21] The minute they couldn't finish by the 60th or 70th minute, they lose that switch.

[00:40:26] And it's such often when you're letting in a lot more goals and you should.

[00:40:29] I think now that they're able to get someone to put the ball in the goal.

[00:40:36] I think Nicholas Jackson is also on four goals.

[00:40:40] I mean Jackson, Jackson's taken all of the criticism that has been thrown away really fucking personal.

[00:40:45] Because even John Obey McKell who is an ex-Jelsy player spoke about he doesn't know what Jackson's doing and Jackson said just shut up.

[00:40:58] He's also as a success.

[00:41:01] It's not just the fact that he's scoring, he's somewhere up there in a sense and even Madu, Madu, we can.

[00:41:09] Madu, we can.

[00:41:11] They're all doing really well.

[00:41:11] Finally they've just found a way to put the ball into the net.

[00:41:16] Something they were struggling at the last two seasons.

[00:41:18] Yeah, fantastic stuff.

[00:41:20] It's pity that Prashanth isn't here to code in the fantastic results that Chelsea are coming up with.

[00:41:28] But yeah, I mean five game weeks down, fifth in the league three points behind top spot, not bad.

[00:41:32] This is a good platform for Chelsea to build on if they can keep this going.

[00:41:37] Then you know we always maybe they can finish respectable fourth.

[00:41:40] Yeah, no we'll have to see how that goes.

[00:41:44] Again, the big thing here is Nicholas Jackson.

[00:41:48] If he keeps this form going and again, I don't know if he can sustain it for the entire season.

[00:41:55] When we can, then that's really threatening because that is a very, very impressive looking squad with Colpama with Madu,

[00:42:01] with Sancho now, Nico Jackson and Kung Kung coming off the bench who's also a potent threat.

[00:42:07] I think it's a very interesting sort of squad that they have.

[00:42:11] They just need to, you know, keep this going if they have any chances of respectable fourth place finishes this season.

[00:42:20] Right before we wrap up this episode, absolutely mental game between Brighton and Nottingham for this which ended two, two.

[00:42:29] But the real drama started towards the end of the game when Morgan gives White went in full blooded on Jojo Pedro and got a second yellow card for that.

[00:42:42] Which led to, well,

[00:42:47] him being sent off the Nuno spirit of Santo getting angry and him being sent off.

[00:42:52] And for some reason Fabian who's also being sent off, so both Madu and his being sent off.

[00:42:57] So let's start over the title first, Cookie your thoughts on that Morgan gives White tactile and his reaction after.

[00:43:04] I think the reaction was just, I know it was a street up.

[00:43:11] I think it got the, I don't know what the fuss was.

[00:43:16] Like, I don't know what the fuss was like, what is the, what did he not expect that?

[00:43:21] No, the idea was that what Nuno and Gives White was saying was that he got the ball first.

[00:43:28] And yes, that's true, but it was still a very, very rash tackle.

[00:43:32] Now if it was a straight red, I could have understood that they would have expected we are to come in,

[00:43:38] but it was not a straight red, it was the second yellow and a VAR is never going to intervene in a yellow card decision.

[00:43:47] So I thought it was a correct decision because at any other point in the game, if he didn't have that first yellow card, that tackle would have earned him his first yellow card.

[00:43:55] So it was a correct decision, but don't you think that Morgan gives White just has that little bit of crazy in his eyes?

[00:44:03] Doesn't he look like, he's a little bit of a sucker?

[00:44:07] Okay, or to be honest, actually like a lot of, I don't know if I just say well, I have a lot of British players.

[00:44:13] I think they do look a little like, I mean, okay, you take Morgan gives White on one side and take Cole Palmer on the other side.

[00:44:21] Cole Palmer is so dull and Morgan gives White to Sola.

[00:44:25] I want to kill someone.

[00:44:26] So you know, I don't know,

[00:44:29] Morgan gives White does have a certain, why is rebellious meansy?

[00:44:36] Yeah, yeah, in a mean stick, but, I mean, but, I'm always a risk at a second.

[00:44:42] As we have seen it, he has the same look.

[00:44:47] Like, like you know, like a Darwin, you know, has in terms of you don't know what is going to happen.

[00:44:51] Yeah, which could also be like, maybe you're goal, but maybe also, or yellow or red, which eventually happened.

[00:44:59] Yeah, but I don't understand why there was a fuss over it.

[00:45:02] I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't understand why Nuno got into it because he was very, very angry with the referee, which,

[00:45:08] and him is the right one.

[00:45:09] You need this job, buddy.

[00:45:12] You can't, you, your stinted, taught him really messed your career trajectory up.

[00:45:17] You're going to do well. Yeah, I don't know why he was learned God's angle because he just looks like such a shunt, but,

[00:45:24] which he is, he is 31.

[00:45:27] I don't know why he was in thought, like what did he say?

[00:45:30] I think the refuges that didn't want any funeral over every management.

[00:45:38] I think the refuges wanted to go point the right, the engineer, all the management team.

[00:45:41] All of you get out, make it 11, 11 game and that's it.

[00:45:45] Right, right, that's it.

[00:45:47] Right, before we go, breaking news coming in that the freed kid group has agreed to take over everything,

[00:45:53] because his the owner of, uh, A.S. Roma in my home country, of Italy.

[00:45:59] So they have agreed to, uh, finally purchase everything.

[00:46:03] Let's see what happens with that hopefully we'll have more news by the time next episode.
