Kelly Services is set to acquire Massachusetts based motion recruitment partners for $425 million in cash plus potential earnouts. The largest ever deal for Kelly aims to bolster its technology talent solutions and expand market share
[00:01:20] funded partially by selling European staffing operations. Founded in 1989, Motion Recruitment Partners employs 1,575 people while Kelly employs over 10,000 folks. Another one! Ritu Mahonka is the new CEO of Holland based Vank. The company says she's a seasoned HR Tech veteran with executive roles at IBM and
[00:01:47] LinkedIn. With her leadership, Vank aims to accelerate expansion globally and innovate its products founded in 2006. The company employs 126 people. Another one! San Francisco based freelance platform Upworks Q1 revenue surged by 18.7% to 190.9 million dollars driven by flat fee pricing adoption. Gross margin improved with net income up by 7.4%
[00:02:20] Active clients rose by 5% to 872,000. The company introduced UMA AI boosting client spending by 7%. Revenue guidance for Q2 is set between 190 to 195 million dollars. The stock rose nearly 5% on the news. Another one! Brian Neely has been appointed as Madrid based job and talents new
[00:02:47] US chief sales officer. The company says Neely a former Palmetto EVP brings extensive experience to expand the sales team throughout America founded in 2009. Job and talent employs 3217 people. Another one! London based pollen careers has secured 112,000 pounds to revolutionize job market diversity.
[00:03:15] Their platform promises to aid entry-level job seekers with personalized support and skills challenging traditional CV based hiring. Funds will expand operations, automate processes and enhance product design aiming to empower candidates and promote inclusivity in recruitment founded in 2023. The company employs 7 people. [00:03:42] Zurich based a deco groups Q1 revenue remains steady at 5.72 billion euros with some segments showing growth and others declining. Increased revenue was seen in career transition and consulting services but decreased in flexible and permanent placements. Despite challenges CEO Dennis Meshuel
[00:04:05] emphasized stable revenue and cost improvements. Founded in 1997 the company employs over 22,000 people. Another one! Bellevue based OfferUp and San Francisco based Sonic Jobs have partnered to integrate hosted apply enabling Sonic Jobs clients to access OfferUp's local jobs marketplace
[00:04:29] seamlessly. This eliminates the need for candidates to navigate to a separate career site to complete applications resulting in a three times higher conversion rate and reduced cost per application says the company. Founded in 2017 Sonic Jobs employs 39 people. Another one!
[00:04:50] Isems has appointed Joseph Benjamin as chief technology officer and Eric Connors as chief product officer. Benjamin previously worked at Oracle and Behavix while Connors worked at Ice Mortgage. The appointments follow the retirement of Chad and cheese superfan Al Smith who will remain with Isems in an advisory role
