[00:01:03] San Francisco's Homebase has secured $60 million in series D funding bringing its total to $189 million. The company calls itself the everything app for hourly teams including features like employee scheduling, time clocks, payroll, team communication and HR. More than 100,000 SMBs are
[00:01:27] currently using the platform according to the company founded in 2014 they employ 956 people another one. Richard Centexas based carry loop has raised $20 million in series C funding bringing its total to $63 million. The company helps families manage their loved ones care needs by connecting
[00:01:52] them to an employer sponsored caregiver support platform the funding will go toward expanding market reach and enhance its technology founded in 2012 the company employs 99 people another one New York City based summer has secured $9 million in funding bringing its total to $29 million. The
[00:02:16] startup aims to be an end-to-end student loan workplace benefit solution that helps employees navigate college costs and reduce student debt founded in 2017 the company employs 91 people another one London based multiverse which claims to deliver a new kind of apprenticeship
[00:02:38] that combines education work and technology has acquired San Fran based searchlight a staffing firm for startups terms were not disclosed founded in 2018 searchlight had previously raised $19.5 million and employ 16 people while multiverse has raised $418 million and employs a little over
[00:03:04] 1000 people another one California based career arc who says it's the only social recruiting platform designed for talent acquisition teams has acquired Lumina a Portland based startup that helps companies create visually appealing job ads think old-timey newspaper display ads but on the
[00:03:25] internet terms were not disclosed founded in 2020 Lumina employs 95 people and had previously raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding while career arc founded back in 2009 has raised a total of $30 million and employs 57 people another one Italy based steps connect has secured
[00:03:49] 1 million euros in preceded funding the company says it uses visually attractive messaging to connect recruiters with suitable Gen Z and millennial candidates focused on retail hospitality and fashion they plan to use the money to expand into other parts of Europe founded in 2019 steps
[00:04:11] connect employs 23 people another one and lastly linkedin has launched connected tv or what the kids call ctv these are ads and also launching live event ads aiming to help marketers tap into the growing video consumption trend ctv ads allow marketers to display video campaigns on home tv sets
