[00:01:08] $2.7 million the startup aides companies in employee upskilling and career development
[00:01:15] centralizing skills training and experiences
[00:01:18] Promising customizable paths for growth while addressing business needs Allah
[00:01:25] Virtual simulations founded in 2023 the company employees
[00:01:30] 26 people another one
[00:01:33] Indeed CEO Chris Himes announced layoffs affecting approximately
[00:01:38] 1,000 employees around 8% of the workforce
[00:01:42] He said the decision aims to simplify the organization
[00:01:46] streamlined decision-making and foster growth
[00:01:50] Layoffs mostly target us-based research development and go-to-market teams
[00:01:56] with a focus on maintaining diversity and inclusion
[00:02:01] Roughly 18,000 people still work for the 20 year old company

[00:02:07] Gen Z is increasingly opting for freelance careers over traditional 9 to 5 jobs with over half

[00:02:30] Says the youths are embracing freelancing as a choice

[00:03:09] Stabilization that sounds a bit optimistic shares fell nine and a half roughly percent to nine dollars and seventy-eight cents a share

[00:04:35] claiming over 8,000 customers and
[00:04:38] 300,000 users in 30 plus countries they plan to enhance features and launch new verticals in
[00:04:45] addition to the global growth founded in 2015 the company employs
[00:04:51] 240 people
[00:04:52] another one London based aim high earth has secured 1 million pounds to train quote
[00:05:00] 100 million nature focused employees in quote this brings total funding to
[00:05:07] 1.4 million pounds investors committed to long-term shares
[00:05:12] preventing short-term sell-offs aiming to combat climate change the initiative prioritizes
[00:05:19] sustainability training across sectors
[00:05:23] building on initial support from leading organizations founded in
[00:05:27] 2021 the company employs 21 people

[00:05:33] London based Sona has secured
[00:05:36] $27.5 million in series a funding with over 40 million dollars raised Sona says it's a modern app
[00:05:45] For the new era of frontline work combining powerful productivity tools
[00:05:50] With a sleek simple and intuitive user experience
[00:05:54] With the cash they plan to enhance AI capabilities and expand market penetration
[00:06:00] after experiencing 400% plus revenue growth in
[00:06:05] 2023 founded back in 2021 the company employs
[00:06:09] 89 people another one
[00:06:12] recruit holdings the world's fifth largest staffing firm saw a 4% revenue drop in
[00:06:19] Q4 the Tokyo based company which owns indeed and Glassdoor
[00:06:24] noted total job ads on indeed continued to decline with revenue at the jobs
[00:06:30] websites falling 10.1% when measured in US dollars
[00:06:35] While HR technology revenue fell a little over 10% as well
[00:06:41] revenue in recruits staffing segment fell 3.4% in constant currency though revenue outside of Japan
[00:06:49] fell by 11%
[00:06:51] recruit also announced that a subsidiary is launching a new Japan website
[00:06:57] focused on on-demand work in the fall
[00:07:00] its tentative name is
[00:07:03] townwork Tsukima
[00:07:05] another one
[00:07:07] Mexico based HR and payroll software provider work II has secured six million dollars in series a funding
[00:07:15] founded in 2018 work II aims to modernize HR processes
[00:07:20] focusing on Latin America's operative workforce with over 40,000 users
[00:07:26] work II plans to enhance product development expand sales and
[00:07:30] strengthen its team with the new cash they employ
