[00:01:04] Indeed is reporting a 40% drop in US job postings that require a specific number of
[00:01:12] years of experience going back to April of 2022.
[00:01:16] High wage jobs now list fewer experience requirements, narrowing the gap with lower
[00:01:23] education sectors.
[00:01:25] The report says employers are reducing formal education criteria to attract diverse
[00:01:31] candidates and manage costs.
[00:01:34] Another one.
[00:01:35] Santa Monica, California based Cornerstone On Demand has acquired Skyhive technologies
[00:01:42] with the goal of enhancing its AI powered re-skilling capabilities and predictive
[00:01:47] labor market intelligence.
[00:01:49] This acquisition, Cornerstone's fourth, says the deal aligns with their goal of
[00:01:54] building agile skills based workforces.
[00:01:57] Skyhive's platform provides a real time insight into global labor market trends,
[00:02:03] adding organizational transformation and skills development.
[00:02:07] Founded in 1999, Cornerstone On Demand employs 3,494 people while Skyhive
[00:02:15] founded in 2017, employs 76.
[00:02:20] Another one.
[00:02:21] Belgian recruitment platform JobTools has acquired Irish ATS provider,
[00:02:27] Hirehive.
[00:02:28] This acquisition, part of the parent company ISH's strategy to build a robust
[00:02:34] SaaS portfolio will expand their reach in the UK, Ireland and the US.
[00:02:40] In case you missed it, ISH acquired JobTools back in June of 23.
[00:02:46] Founded in 2010, Hirehive employs 5 people while JobTools founded back in
[00:02:52] 2016, employs 24.
[00:02:56] Another one.
[00:02:58] New York based DailyPay has appointed Stacey Greiner as interim CEO,
[00:03:04] effective June 1st of this year, succeeding Kevin Koop who will serve as
[00:03:09] a board advisor and has already exited to become CEO of market research
[00:03:15] company Definitive Healthcare.
[00:03:18] Greiner, currently COO, oversees the company's business lines and operations.
[00:03:25] Founded in 2016, DailyPay employs 804 people.
[00:03:31] Another one.
[00:03:33] Fort Lauderdale Florida based Active Staffing has acquired Orlando
[00:03:37] Florida based Employment Geeks, expanding its reach into various sectors.
[00:03:42] The deal, finalized back in April, marks Active Staffing's first acquisition
[00:03:47] in Orlando, Employment Geeks executive recruiter Paul Obento will become
[00:03:52] a minority partner focusing on regional growth.
[00:03:56] Financial terms were not disclosed.
[00:03:58] Founded in 2020, Employment Geeks employs 6 people while Active Staffing,
[00:04:04] around since 1947, employs 248 folks.
[00:04:10] Another one.
[00:04:11] Amsterdam based 10x.team, a platform connecting fractional talent with
[00:04:17] companies has raised 1 million euros in an oversubscribed seed funding round.
[00:04:23] The funds will accelerate their growth, the company hopes anyway.
[00:04:27] Founded last year, the company employs 8 people.
[00:04:31] Another one.
[00:04:33] And finally, Seattle startup Humanly, a conversational AI platform for
[00:04:38] high volume hiring, has acquired San Francisco's Teamable.
[00:04:43] Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Teamable's CEO will join
[00:04:47] Humanly as its VP of product.
[00:04:50] Humanly customers use the platform for screening, scheduling, automating,
[00:04:54] communication and running reference checks.
[00:04:58] Teamable will add solutions such as passive sourcing, candidate nurturing,
[00:05:02] messaging and referrals.
[00:05:05] Teamable had previously raised $12 million, while Humanly has raised
[00:05:10] a little under $24 million to date.
