What better way to get to know our guest than a round of snappy and energising Quick Takes.
[00:00:01] What better way to get to know our guests here on the Taking Chances podcast than a round of snappy and energizing quick takes on what they take is on just about anything and everything. And before we get started, just a reminder to not miss out on hearing the main episode as well. So here we go.
[00:00:19] Okay, so your first quick take Dolly, what is the one single biggest life lesson that you want to share with our listeners?
[00:00:27] Always be true to yourself. If you stand in front of the mirror and if the mirror says you're a true person and the mirror is not judging you for anything, I think that's what I feel is a true thing.
[00:00:39] And if we were to ask you to sing a song today Dolly, what song would come to your mind? And why would that song come to your mind?
[00:00:46] Ay Dil Hai Mushkil Jeena Aya Hau Zara Hatke, Zara Bajke Yeh Bombay Meri Jaa
[00:00:55] I love singing. Anytime any song can just come. This is a song that me and Naveen, we both love. So I think that's one song.
[00:01:03] Jeevan Ke Din Chote Sahi, Hum Hai Bade Dil Waale, Barne Ki Hai Pursat Kaha, Soche Cho Hum Mat Waale.
[00:01:21] Nice. Your husband came through. And a great song too. He came through. So the quick take number three, what makes you angry Dolly?
[00:01:34] A badly folded saree. I think that makes me angry. Very angry. I have an OCD problem. If my saree hangers are not put in that alignment or if my decoats are not placed properly, if the color shade is not going well, if it is not ivory to black tone, I think that makes me really very angry.
[00:01:55] When you said that badly draped saree, then you shouldn't be seeing me at all.
[00:02:00] No, no, no. Because for me, I will always feel anytime when I see someone, I will just feel, okay, I could have done this on her or I could just correct this on her.
[00:02:09] So that's always there in my mind.
[00:02:11] Yeah, yeah. Correct, correct.
[00:02:12] It's not a badly draped saree, but I can say there is a source of improvement there.
[00:02:17] So, you know, Dolly, you spoke about looking into the mirror and really being true to yourself.
[00:02:22] So what is it about yourself that you love the most? And when you see that in yourself, you say, hey, I am true to myself. What is that one thing?
[00:02:30] My honest smile. I think that's what I feel when I look into my eyes.
[00:02:35] I just feel that these eyes are true. What they're saying and seeing is true.
[00:02:40] They've never hurt anyone knowingly and they never laugh on people if they failed on something.
[00:02:48] So it's a true smile and it's a true sparkle. When you see it in my eyes, you will believe it.
[00:02:55] Right.
[00:02:55] Yeah.
[00:02:56] And maybe it's an obvious quick take, but we still want to ask, who is your favorite celeb to dress up?
[00:03:03] Deepika.
[00:03:05] Deepika Padukopi is my favorite from the Bollywood thing and from the South Belt, I think Nain Tara.
[00:03:13] I've been doing them for years now and they've been like family to me now.
[00:03:19] Hope you enjoyed the quick takes. See you soon with more conversations on our podcast, Taking Chances.
