शेतकरी शेती स्वत:साठी करीत असले तरी, ते अन्न काही केवळ आपल्यापुरतं पिकवत नाहीत. ते अन्न सगळेच खातात. शेतीत पावलोपावली जीवावरची जोखीम असते. ती पत्करून पिकवलेल्या शेतमालाचे भाव पाडण्यासाठी सरकारसह सगळेच टपून बसलेले असतात. एवढ्या जीवावरच्या जोखमीचे आणखी कोणते व्यवसाय आहेत?
No doubt, Farming is a profession, but they do not grow food just for themselves. Everyone eats that food. Agriculture is always life-threatening. And there is no assurance to get the returns. Everyone, including the government, is trying to bring down the prices of agricultural commodities. No other profession is so life-threatening.
