शेतकरी दररोज सकाळ-संध्याकाळ दोन्ही बोअरच्या पाईपजवळ कान देऊन पाण्याचे आवाज येतात का, ते पाहतो. मध्येच तो खडा टाकून बघतो. बुडूक बुडूक आवाज आला की खूष होतो. मनातल्या मनात म्हणतो की, पाणी आलंय बोअरमध्ये. बाकी सगळं नॉर्मल आहे त्याचं. पण एवढे पैसे जाऊनही त्याचं पाण्याचं वेड काही गेलेलं नाही.
The farmer is crazy for water. Every morning and evening, he puts his ear near the bore pipe and listens for the sound of water. In the middle he throws stones and looks. Despite spending so much money, his obsession with water has not gone away.
