[00:00:09] This is almost, I don't know, maybe thirty-two, thirty-three years ago. This is one of the first programs I'm teaching, Inner Engineering program in Chennai. Then one man, early morning class, he's very worried about his daughter's future. And there is an examination coming and that girl is not focusing on her studies. He's so worried what will happen to her future, everything. I asked him, how old's your girl?
[00:00:41] He says, four years. I said, you bloody idiot, you don't deserve to have a child. Four-year-old girl, you're worried about her future, she's not doing her homework, she's not focusing on her education, she's not learning mathematics properly, she's getting only ninety-eight. Other two percent is missing. I'm saying, this is rubbish.
[00:01:12] Don't make your children's lives miserable by thinking you have to make them achieve things that you did not. You are not a boss, you don't own them. They happen to come through you, they don't come from you. It's a privilege. Another life happened through you. Always value that privilege and see what best you can do. You are not a boss.
